Couple things...actually 3...1st keep the videos coming!! Love to learn while I'm off the water! 2nd...why do you run the persistence mode on? Seems like it blurs the image a little? 3rd...just a comment on the mega live menu...I wish you could pause the image while your making adjustments on the water especially if it's windy. When you're moving around it's hard to keep on one piece of structure and adjust it if that structure moves in and out of view. That's even with the target lock locked on
I own a mega live and honestly for all the money that we spend on all this stuff.....these manufacturers could actually give us something that is much more user friendly and doesn't look like just blips on the screen....but great video.
Thanks. Have you seen any live imaging technology that doesn't look like blips on the screen? I think even the military technology doesn't show video quality images with sonar. I'm sure they will continue to get better with live imaging technology.
The Mega Live transducer connects to the 5 port hub. This is the link to the networking diagram. johnsonoutdoors.widen.net/content/5wysiuenfp/pdf/Humminbird-Networking-Diagrams-15.pdf
@@MoneyBass that my plan but of course they aren’t open right now. I was hoping the money bass legend would have the answer! You helped quite a bit though and I appreciate it. Have a good night.
Nice tutorial. The pollen in TN is a mess right now as well. I noticed that your Target Lock was doing a great job of keeping the beam on the structure.
Hey I recently purchased a minn kota ultrex trolling motor. I also purchased a hummingbird helix 7 g4n with the mdi Transducer built in. I am having trouble getting the trolling motor and graph to connect. Needing help to find out what I am doing wrong or missing?
@@ericmaddox2605 double check the network connections and check the system status to see if it comes online. Contact Humminbird support and they will take your entire set up into consideration.

How many clicks from straight down when using for forward facing? Working to get mine better dialed in

Good video it helped me get a starting point
Thanks. Glad to help. Be sure to watch the livestreams every Tuesday at 8pm EST.
Can you plug your mega live to a network hub or must it go to a unit?

@@MoneyBass thank you much. Would you also know what cable is needed ? What I’m finding is only a cable to hook to a unit.
@@JeffRigney contact Humminbird support and they will direct you based on your complete set up.

@@JeffRigney lol thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
I’m going to try the mask next trip
Let me know if it helps.
Would a mask take care of some of that pollen?
Possibly. I've heard it can help. I didn't put the mask on mine.

@@SLYFishing oh yeah, I got that TargetLock dialed in. Shout out to @slydoggietn and the MoneyTeam! 😎
