subscribed instantly, thanks when you say using a better angle, there is a sense of giving up a pullup middy to the attacker though, right? no real way to account for being slower AND not giving up a shot
Thanks for the support, Joey! Glad you think so highly of the content. Yes, there’s a better chance that your matchup will have more space to shoot a midrange jumper on a downhill drive when you take a “deeper” angle. The good news is, that shot is the lowest percentage shot in basketball, so you’d prefer them take a large amount of those throughout the game & you’ll learn to still contest those shots as you get more reps at this.
Great question. It depends on the level of basketball. In the NBA, rarely will they get called. High school it probably would be, and college is a toss up.

In the words of awful coaching, “show your hands and slide your feet!”and “DON’T GAMBLE!”
BACK TO THE BASELINE, SEE BALL SEE MAN
Lol, it would be interesting to see what Austin thinks of his takes btw.
Gambling is part of defense tho
@@reverse_swed3ncalculated. Not just thinking you can always get a steal. Even the best defenders average 1-2 per game. It’s tough.
that is literally bad advice.
Cool video
super gemacht
Nice vide❤❤🔥🔥
I appreciate it!
Miss spell sorry
Thank you
You bet, Jacob 🤝
In the last point where he slides to generate contact, is that a blocking foul or no?

Key is who gets position first. If defender gets it first then it’s not a block
it is a blocking foul 100%
💯💯
good old drew
key point is NEVER TAKE YOUR EYE OFF THE BALL while defending do that and trust me you'll increase your defense by 70%
