Extremely useful. Thought of tossing the machine when I saw the leak. But this video showed exactly was the problems was and the fix is so simple -- just reconnect the tube! Saved the maker; money for me and the earth of some unnecessary garbage / plastic waste !! Thank you for taking the time to post this video ; God bless !
Thank you
Had some difficulty getting the screws out but managed to get them out with a regular size very very small screwdriver. Got the bottom off an the hose had come lose. Coffee make works like new and it got saved from being trashed.
Thank you
Got it. Small hole in the intake hose.1/4 inch vinyl tubing Home Depot. Thanks

Okay I maybe having the same exact problem as in your video. That tube must have fell off again which thanks to your video, I wouldn't have thought of that.
Now you mentioned something at 8:10 into the video. I'll figure it out. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.

Good video! If it would have been broken hose. Where do you order them.?
My guess is on line, but if it would have been a broken hose, I have a couple from an old one that we had to throw out due to the pot getting broke. So I saved the hoses.
I couldn't understand what he said when he said the cause of the retainer ring to pop off. Did he say it was a clogging leak?
If hoses need replacing, make sure they're food grade silicone tubing, not the clear vinyl or whatever's available at the local HD. But the cost of tubing is more than just buying a new coffee maker.
Your problem is that you bought a ten dollar coffee maker.
That's true but it lasted longer than our 80 coffee maker. I know it's weird but true.
what do u mean "i showed ya" if we didnt see it u didnt show us haha
I didn't see the civil war either but i know it happened
shabear1000 does that mean they showed u lol
@@shabear1000 and just because something is written dont mean it happened lol ppl can write anything today and the ppl born tomorrow will believe it... im not saying you didnt do it lol im just saying you didnt show us lol
I would have liked to see where the leak came from too. But Im still gonna try to take the bottom off my POS coffee maker.
Operator Abuse.... ya'll just to rough on it...
and Thanks... maybe mines the same...Heaven knows I abused it to
how do you abuse a coffee maker? when being used twice a day for 3 years, somethings bound to give out ...
Mines was leaking first time I used it. Couldnt send it back because my wife threw the box away.
