i just tested positive for CMV through seeing infectious disease doctors bc of fevers lasting 4+ weeks. fatigue. feeling flu like all the time. i don't know for sure if this is the cause of my symptoms bc my doctors are still reviewing tests results, but to me it seems like CMV is the culprit. thank you for your video explaining this virus. either way i tested positive for it and need to be aware of this virus.
@@Prathigan the doctors at infections disease decided CMV and epstein bar are not the cause of my fevers of unknown origin and swollen lymph nodes through my body. it's also not any type of cancer as far as they can tell. i'm having a PET scan this week to look at the lymph nodes, again! my 3rd PET. then back to hem-onc to review the PET in 2 weeks. they can't figure out what's wrong with me. multiple CT's as well. I have fevers for months at a time, the last one lasted nearly a year. it's accompanied by flu like symptoms and swollen lymph nodes. i've seen infectious disease who ran 30+ blood tests and hem-onc for lymphoma which i didn't have. they said the CMV and epstein bar were positive tests but that they are not active. i am so exhausted all the time and spend a lot of time in bed. but the doctors are currently at a loss as to what's causing all of this. it's been going on for years. they can see on PET scans from 2021 the same thing they're seeing now. but i've had these symptoms since at least 2013ish. if anyone knows of a doctor or hospital that could diagnose me please point me there! or any ideas at all what to look for. i'm wide open to suggestions. i've completely lost my life to this and no one knows what i have. other symptoms which may or may not be related: vomiting frequently, frequent nausea (daily), and utter exhaustion in my whole body as if i have the flu. i'm so frustrated and i fight depression over never being able to engage in life anymore. a trip to the grocery store can set me back 2-3 days. i can't drive any distance anymore, i was in a wreck from brain fog trying to drive the hour to the hospital to see my doctors. i have to be driven around. my elderly parents help take care of me and i feel so guilty over this. i've also had a very stressful many years with divorce, move across the country, job loss, loss of the man i thought i was going to marry, some family have stopped speaking to me because i deconverted from our religion, i was homeless, lived with a hoarder friend in horrible circumstances. then i had a heart attack and had to have open heart surgery at age 45 from all of the stress. my life has stabilized and my parents have let me come live with them, now. my stress is minimal now, but i always wonder if the stress caused this? if you ask me, i feel like i have a virus. i just don't know what it could possibly be. please send any suggestions no matter how insignificant you think it is, i can't spend the rest of my life sick like this. i just turned 47, i have so many dreams left still and i feel like it's all been taken from me.
