I refused even when they wanted to set up the loan for me. I thought ' who on earth would want to live in Willesden' ! Mad woman ! It was a victorian terrace house with back garden in great structural condition.
It's because so many of them don't think of these things as the business investment that they are. Instead, they think it's their own personal homes they're going to be moving into at the end.

The fact that her dentist friend agreed to finance another property without fully inspecting how she handled the budget on the first one shows that he's not thinking clearly either. They seem to be a match made in heaven.
