Just came here from the new ESO trailer and someone said 'Cinematics are always so much cooler than the game they're for' and that made me have to come rewatch this as the one exception - the game felt JUST like this, if not even better.
Tali Ihantala It's a different 'robot' (titan). The 'killing' robot is the enemy's heavy armor and artillery titan, the 'saving' robot is the 'soldier' (pilot)'s assault titan...great trailer though don't you think?

The only thing lacking was no singleplayer in the first, but that was fixed in the sequel. Both of these games will forever be ones that excite me. I sure hope we get a third game.
What’s even more impressive is that the pilot in the trailer is captain lastimosa from the 2nd game, his helmet matches the one on the second game campaign.
We need a Titnafall campaign where we play as Tai Lastimosa here (and yes, that is him); up to the point when he would link with BT-7274 (which wouldn't happen until two years after the battle of Demeter, and three years before the fateful battle of Typhon)
You can see at 0:58 when the Titan gets its lights punched out that the Pilot is inside and they didn't need to do that but they did anyways and that's really cool.
You people talk like all of what happens in COD and BF cinematic trailers actually happen in the real game. SMH. People are dumb. By the amount of new contents and ideas TF has brought to the FPS genre, which AW and BO3 rips off of, i say the next TF games will be absolutely awesome. They started from scratch and the mechanics are already much much better than COD. This coming from a long time COD player.

As far as titanfall goes... It would be nice to have more customization on our pilots and Titans. Earned through ranking and feats. It would also be nice to have some lore in a REAL campaign. Give us more guns and customizations for those guns too. Just spice it up a bit more. I want to color my Titan red and make it special. Hope they listen! But they probably won't...

Full customization on pilots and titans, more game modes, a good campaign, more weapons, more titans. Hell why not even add support vehicles instead of just Titans. In the trailer you see a jet. why not add some player controlled hover jets/tanks. Its pretty clear they just wanted to get the gameplay right. but i did get bored after about 2 weeks.
The reason they used Source is because Titanfall is a physics heavy game and the Source engine is the best physics engine out there. If they changed the engine, then the game would feel drastically different and piss off a lot of titanfall fans, me included.
Coming back to this old trailer and just noticed that when the pilot entered the titan there was the bands going around the arms if you watch the new apex stories trailer for valk you can see they changed this to hologram rings, never knew that thought it was just a random thing they added didn't think it was always there
Outstanding trailer for a superb game. I really hope the next one has a single player/co op style campaign mode. They nailed multiplayer. But I would love to see the story, environment, character/creatures explored.
