No translation needed for this reaction. 58 yr old guy here and not ashamed to admit I have the same reaction as soon as IZ starts singing. He touches the soul.
For me, the tears start as soon as his voice does. I resisted listening to IZ's version for YEARS because I know the Judy Garland version and I'll admit, I'm a bit of a purist when it comes do music. I don't normally like covers but so many of my favorite reactors had this song on their channels so I gave in and gave it a chance.... and I'm SO glad I did. I could listen to it several times a day for the rest of my life. I don't know what it is about his voice... it's ethereal... otherworldly... hauntingly beautiful.... perfect.
He had the gift.
Too many covers sound overproduced to me. I love his above everyone else’s due to its simplicity and that makes it all the more intimate and comforting.
It is one of the most beautiful renditions. He made it his. He made it Hawaii. It is so uplifting. We can fly over the rainbow.

A tradition in the Hawaiian culture, demonstrating Aloha for him and family.
On the day of the funeral when they poured his ashes into the water, all of the semi trucks on the island drove by and blew their horns. It sounded as though the island was wailing in despair for the lost of IZ
I think the truck horns sounded like the old conch shells blown as horns.
God made him so beautiful that only his voice could be perceived by regular people! I don't think I can explain it except for the fact that his soul has been touching so many people from before and since he died oh God I wish he was still here!

Generalmente cuando busco una reacción de alguna canción o algo que me hace llorar termino mirando más reacciones de mujeres que de hombres. Muchos hombres ahogan sus emociones y sobre todo frente a la gente o a una cámara. Y eso es lo que más me gustó de esta reacción, que él estuviera al borde del llanto antes de darle al play. Hizo que yo estuviera al borde del llanto mucho antes de lo que aguanto por lo general. Esta versión es tan linda y él irradia tanta hermosura que se siente el peso de su muerte aunque lo hayas conocido por primera vez al principio del video.

We _all_ have and recognize certain genetic predispositions that is why it is incumbent upon us to deal with them properly.
