Clear coat are transparent coat over the base colors commonly found in automotive, Gel coat is specialised resin coated over fibreglass structures like boats, if you are in automotive detailing you will rarely come across gel coats, but if you detail boats then it shall be everyday affair, gel coats are harder and rotary polisher works best on such coats. Sir can use this product or rather what to use on lacquer furniture. Does it leave a transparent film on lacquer furniture when applied. I do understand that ceramic coating is used mostly for automobiles.
Ceramic coating can be applied on furniture which already has a lacquer, yes it shall leave a transparent film on the lacquer, but before applying coating wipe the lacquered surface with IPA based pre cleaners, if needed even sanding + compounding can be done to remove swirls marks and give good gloss. Dear Simran, 15 ml is not enough for 2 coats. You need around 30 ml for 2 coats if you want to cover all painted surfaces of the car.
