Koreans eat dogs, on both sides of the DMZ. You can get dog meat anywhere in South Korea. Right in downtown Seoul with the same ease you can get say good sushi in NYC. People eat dog (and much more bizarre and absurd and unethical things) in many places in China, too. But to be clear, this part of the world, the locals have been eating dogs INTENTIONALLY for generations. Not because they're poor, or starving, or there's a war/famine... but just because they like it & think it's tasty and morally OK. Because it's traditional. It's not OK. The tradition is disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves. End of story. But at least they butcher their meat (including dogs but everything else too) by hand, and many regular people shop in markets where you know what a slaughterhouse is... because you're in one. With your kids. Shopping. Too many westerners are totally divorced from reality, that the meat they eat everyday was born food in some imaginary factory. It wasn't. It was cute furry/feathered animals who were happy and cute when they were born... and then we terrified and abused them until the day we murdered them and sold their corpses for pennies maybe a buck. We do the same to horses and God knows what else everyday in America. Don't pretend we don't. I say that as somebody who has killed thousands of animals, by hand with an apple-paring knife on a working farm. One jugular at a time. The old fashioned way. It's hard when you've known them their whole lives. My dad killed millions of animals. Towards the end he felt bad about all the death. I could only handle it for a couple years. Dogs, no way. They love you and they understand. Pigs too. They're even smarter. If you have to eat meat I recommend birds. Most of them are really really dumb, and cruel even to their own and to babies. Mammals are not. They're really really smart, and loving. Dogs especially.
The average height of a man in the world is 5'7.5" tall. I highly doubt the average height of a Korean soldier is 5'10" I trained with South Koreans several times and I have no idea where you got the average height of them is 5'10" that's ridiculous.
That is an insightful guess as to the planes' contents, Paul! NEVER FORGET the open statement by South Korean Intel last week, that families of NK troops were being moved into special compounds, by NKim. [ verbal threat is not even necessary.]
They definetly never heard about spacing saw a video of a trench filled with north korean soldiers. A drone soon arrived and you can guess what happened to all of them after. They literally sat with like 20 guys in a 10 meter trenchline
It stands to reason NK isn't going to send their very best troops. First, they sent shitty artillery shells. Second, Kim Boy is going to want to keep his best guys at home to protect his arse. Third, sending these green (inexperienced ) guys is a good way to train them and at the same time bleed out some "excess". That's less possible rebels that might otherwise could revolt and dethrone that clown at the top.
You probably right, although he might let a few back. I have seen stories where if a North Korean soldier is injured, rather than getting well in a military hospital, they are sent back to their family in their hometown to get better. Then after they get well they are expected to take food and other items from their families and neighbors to bring back with them to their base. This is because even the military can't afford to sufficiently feed their own soldiers. They can barely feed their own people.
He doesn't understand and doesn't know how to use the "aged like milk" phrase lol There is nothing to be "aged" here, there is no prediction and this is recent news.
The first assault of North Korean soldiers occured in the Kursk area. A group of 40 soldiers was sent without artillery preparation, without intelligence, without proper weapons, in short, the usual manner of the Russian commanders. One survived, seriously injured on the head. In a video, he talked about a baba yaga and how he hid under the bodies to escape the drones and wait for them to leave. Returned by his own means, he was accused by the Russian commander of treason as he had not been killed. Furtherly, the survivor of the North Korean soldiers group accused the Russians and Putin of treason.
Straight out a story book. U guys really buying this. It’ll b interesting to see what happens in coming weeks I guess if there’s truth to all this here say
You got a bad translation people are using to call the video fake. "How could he know what a baba yaga is"? He never said that and he WAS speaking in Korean with a North Korean accent. Whoever translated it put in baba yaga instead of "drone". Probably a Ukrainian translator with sketchy Korean language skills.
@@robertmueller6979 You have seen the video? Anyway there was someone in the bed not speaking russian and attacks carried out by North Korean soldiers have been confirmed elsewhere. You seem to have a caricature view of NK. The country is obviously impoverished, but it's still a country of 20 million and is rich in natural resources - that wealth can achieve quite a lot when pooled. Also, NK elites can visit friendly countries and they receive top notch education that we often associate with the upper-middle class in the West. Also, NK does routinely lease laborers to Russia as sort of indentured workers; these workers typically work in Russia for a couple years then would return to NK.
NK may not have an army of elite troops trained in modern military tech, it's well-known that they do have commandos who are exceptional in traditional light infantry tactics. The 1968 Blue House Raid is a clear indication that they can be quite dangerous. Underestimating your enemy is not a good look and is a recipe for disaster.
79% of them were looking for ways to dessert before they landed... an entire squad was just charged with desertion for digging a fox hole 30 feet deep and 8 miles long....
Paul, for the DPRK, the primary criteria in all personnel decisions is a person's political reliability. Not the person's skill set. Not the person's motivation. Not the person's training. The troops being sent to fight Ukraine are "expendable" in regard to political reliability. These troops will be in the "marginal" category of reliability. Marginal reliability = expendable, and the DPRK does not want these people to return to the DPRK. These people are only useful to the DPRK as fertilizer. Kim Jung Un gains "points" from Putin, which comes with technology from Russia. The DPRK is eliminating something of zero value (troops with marginal political reliability) and getting something valuable in return.
"the primary criteria in all personnel decisions is a person's political reliability" Same for Trump. Stay tuned for the whole US government to become incompetent if he wins.
@@k.m.9801 Trump idolizes strongman dictators, you must know bc you obviously listen to his deranged speeches and must have heard him praise how Putin and Xi run their countries. I remember in basic training they used to try and scare us about how the North Koreans run up a mountain every morning and how prepared they are. Years later you realize the truth
One thing I wonder about is how much the Russians are going to allow for North Korean officers to do much of anything. Putin is making a good show of friendship between Russia and North Korea, but the reality is that most Russians hate North Koreans. Actually, "hate" is probably not quite the right word, rather Russians think of North Koreans as some kind of joke, actually not all that different from how the rest of the world views North Koreans. As a result, Russian officers are likely to have ZERO respect for North Korean officers, particularly any of those that don't speak Russian (and very few North Koreans speak Russian). At best, most Russian officers are likely to view North Korean officers (never mind rank-and-file soldiers) about on-par with "Storm-Z" units from Russian prisons. Basically, I strongly suspect that the one and only thing that the Russian officers on the front-lines will be willing to do is to tell the North Korean officers to perform senseless meat assaults, allowing the Russians to stay back and operate the artillery, drones, etc.
Paul we got to understand that special have a different meaning in north Korea. These special forces are specially selected to perform the special and very specific task of absorbing Ukrainian bullets. They were specially selected for the purpose of NEVER returning to North Korea again. Kim Jongs regime does just sold them off for money.

This is what i imagine those Nth Korean boys are going through but it`s for real and they`re going to die fast over there.
North Korea does have a small number of special operators, but its regular forces are a mess. After basic training, most live in poor conditions and do manual labor instead of combat exercises.

@robertmueller6979 Republicans blocked aid to Ukraine for 6 consecutive months by stonewalling - refusing to allow a vote to be held at all for its approval - likely extending the war by years; the shortages of weapons and supplies resulting in enormous infrastructure damage, military losses, and retreat. And the the republican leader regularly espouses admiration and approval for the Russian dictator and Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and has recently been outed illegally negotiating with that hostile foreign power without holding a position that permits him to do so. I'm not sure it's accurate to paint the Ruso-Ukraine war as a non-issue, and the deployment of a third military into the war is huge. What Russia forbids Ukraine's allies from doing - directly deploying military personnel into Ukraine- on pain of nuclear war; Russia is now doing. The NK soldiers aren't mercenaries who happen to be from NK, hired by Russia. They are NK military participating as a foreign allied force.

Bad math. Try again.
Kim Jong Un sent the wrong team, translator thought "forces" and "olympics" were the same thing.
Just so that they can tell stories about the outside world being muddy, desolate, frozen. full of ruined buildings and dead bodies. being hungry and thirsty and brutalised up by their giant russian magician commanders (NK doesn't have internet and smart phones etc).
I agree completely but I'll throw out that I doubt they had good artillery shells.
They are not there to be trained it's a one way ticket
Arent they known for detonating in the pieces?
Stop lying! I am disgusted by your false propaganda. While you sit comfortably in front of your computer and write this, your people are dying. Stop lying I know you are in dire need of American help, so pray for the hopeless election of Kamala Harris.
"elite" in NK means not having lost enough weight to be considered a lost cause.
Putin got stiffed by the North Korean short man.
Welp, that aged like milk. No combat since the 50s and no training other than Parades😂😂😂😂😂
What aged like milk?
He doesn't understand and doesn't know how to use the "aged like milk" phrase lol
There is nothing to be "aged" here, there is no prediction and this is recent news.

A whole video that was thorough and had no obscenity and pointless blasphemy! Thanks Paul!
you mean no Trump? that's right
What obscenity and blasphemy do you normally see?
@robertarnold6192 the f word and using the name of Jesus
Ukraine fights with SO much more intelligence (both military intelligence and human intelligence).
The source for this video is someone called Jonas Ohman, a Lithuanian, founder and head of NGO Blue/Yellow, who is said to have taken this video from Ukrainian intelligence and armed forces.
@@robertmueller6979 A person who knew what a Baba Yaga is would have translated it that way. Obvious surely ?
Awesome analysis and presentation. Thank you
Each NK officer will be given a signed edition of Putin’s Military Genius book, “They call me Charlie Foxtrot”!
I like your explanations/analysis in all your videos. Very clear and succinct.
If those are elite....then the normal ones.... 😆
Anyone who expected then to have elite troops needs their head checked. They couldn't even leave their country before this
You seem to have a caricature view of NK.
Underestimating your enemy is not a good look and is a recipe for disaster.
mmmmmm hermit country got weak soldiers. nk doesn't stand a chance. against anyone😂
@@pquumm What natural resources does North Korea have ?
Well ukraines "elite" troops are literal neo Nazis so....
What do you call a North Korean deployed anywhere outside their borders? A deserter.
And I don't blame them for it, either.
Steven Seagal will patch up the holes in the Korean lines, with his unsurpassed karate knowledge and courage. All for the beloved leader and emperor.
How can they be "elite" if they've never fired a rifle in anger? They barely have the budget to allow their recruits to train with live ammo.
What you're overlooking is that their _elite_ soldiers host colonies of _elite_ parasitic intestinal worms, which makes all the difference.
They have been fed
They are targets that can shoot. Elite enough.
Ever notice the big puffy hats the North Korean commanders wear? They think it makes them look bigger.😆😂😂😆😆🤪😬😂
When they left NK they weren't saying "Elite" they were saying "I'll eat!!"
Everyone is elite until blood starts hitting the ground.
79% of them were looking for ways to dessert before they landed... an entire squad was just charged with desertion for digging a fox hole 30 feet deep and 8 miles long....
heheheheheh
`Why are NK soldiers in Russia? Because when they are in Russia, they do'nt need to eat in Korea..... much cheaper....
That and we all know they are being used as fodder.

Great analysis. Eye opening

I remember in basic training they used to try and scare us about how the North Koreans run up a mountain every morning and how prepared they are. Years later you realize the truth
They may be bad but can still kill you.
You're almost certainly correct.
None of these soldiers are going to make it home. You can't leave and come back. They are seeing things that clash with what they grew up learning. 😢
Paul we got to understand that special have a different meaning in north Korea. These special forces are specially selected to perform the special and very specific task of absorbing Ukrainian bullets. They were specially selected for the purpose of NEVER returning to North Korea again. Kim Jongs regime does just sold them off for money.
At $20,000,000 per 10,000 soldiers...per MONTH..... Putin pays Kim $2000/soldier per month.... I'd say hell yea.
Hi Paul u should cover the video of the north Korean soldier who was wounded in battle and what he has to say

And it's just typical autocracy.
They always hide bad things.
"komandir, this is Meat Wave 1, we low on energy need Strike Gum, priyom?"

Exactly what I said. It's officer training. The troops aren't going home. And those conscripts CAN shoot. About the only thing they can do.
Common theme. “Near peer” is in reality just a bunch of hyped up dudes with guns. Turns out marching in unison for social media isn’t a testament of combat strength.
I remember my first field ex during basic (Aus Army). It wasmeant to teach us how to eat a rat pack and set up a hootchie, basic stuff. The instructors got bored and probed our position. This is what i imagine those Nth Korean boys are going through but it`s for real and they`re going to die fast over there.

Who ever claimed NK troops were elite? They haven't been in a war in nearly 80 years.
North Korea does have a small number of special operators, but its regular forces are a mess. After basic training, most live in poor conditions and do manual labor instead of combat exercises.
@@weirdo1060 What makes them "Special Operators"? Calling yourself something doesn't make it so.
they have elite forces in comparison to the regular soldier. 250k of their army are better equipped, trained, and fed compared to the other part of the army. these are relatively effective soldeirs as assessed by SK.
