How to Factory Reset a Hisense TV

This is how you perform a factory reset on most Hisense TV's. The TV in the video is a Hisense U7K / U7KQ but the process should be the same on all TV's using the company's VIDAA operating system.

Very useful info. I was thinking of buying a Hisense tv too. The models that are available in my country are older models like the A Series. U series looks very good. Considering the price and my requirements I'm leaning more towards buying a AIWA(Japanese technology) 43 inch tv from the available options. I usually need a TV to watch sports from my cable tv provider. The content aired through the cable tv provider has only Full HD & SD and no 4k content. Due to that I was looking to buy a Full HD Tv. Chris have you tried Aiwa tvs before?

Thank you! I have unfortunately never tried an AIWA TV so can´t say that much about them. Reviews seems mixed if you search around a bit. However, if you are on the lookout for specifically a Full-HD-TV (and not a 4K like most new ones are) I would recommend trying to find older top- or mid models from about maybe 7-10 years ago. I still have an LG Full HD TV that i bought in roughly 2013 that works fantastic and actually has better colors than a lot of newer TV:s. Back then it was one of the mid-tier-TV:s of its generation. These TV:s sell for almost nothing today with all the new tech specs coming out in in the newer ones :-) // Chris

The UI on my US U7K 55" is completely different than that btw. Still have not been able to find the factory reset.

Hi! Hm, there might be regional differences in the OS. Will have to check it a little further. Upon searching and reading the manual for the 65 inch U7 ( www.hisense-usa.com/support/hisense-65-u7-series-mini-led-uled-hisense-google-tv ) it seem to be that the factory reset option is available through Settings > System > About > Reset > Factory reset. Does that work? // Chris
