I’m sure we would want to R & D our own. Despite having a three-tier system, the Israeli missile defense is by no means 100% effective. Some hostile missiles still get through. We have a bigger budget, so we should, in theory, be able to produce a better system.

Don't understand why more American weapons don't use lasers. I bought cheap parts online and made a laser and its power source was a regular 110 outlet It would burn through wood and turned thick steel red hot in seconds. If I woulda had a lot more money and bought better stuff I coulda built one for naval ships very easily. Ukraine should build some truck mounted ones for taking out drones like a 3 laser system to take out multiple drones or swarms as well as some missles
