    10:55, opening pull
    11:58, break side give go
14:04, USA size stack set play shut down
    16:02, sideline wheel... No continuation
16:51, turnover. USA force disc up one side of a very stack and it's clogged up. Stack doesn't move downfield fast enough, perhaps it also creeps towards sideline.
21:29, Belgium not playing defense like they meant to pull the disc out of bounds! (In answer to commentator's question second before timestamp.) Close up replay of throw at 22:22.
22:55, same throw as USA n previous point. Lol. (23:55 for throw close up). Also noticed how De Maree (the cutter/receiver) is looking directly behind himself while sprinting. I've had a couple beginners ask me how it's even possible to look maybe 120 degrees back while running. This guy is like an owl!
27:00, another wheel to the sideline. USA stopping the upline, gives an easy reset, but no continuation. USA could play harder against this reset but nbd as the disc stays on the sideline with no continuation.
    28:45, 3-3-1 junk zone Blegium
    36:55, 3-3-1 junk zone again
48:22, One Belgian tries to switch but teammate doesn't recognize and he never recovers. USA move disc around freely and score.
    55:52, Second Half starts
56:34, sick block. I'm sure they've connected on that many times before. De Maree called for the put. Not a bad throw. Just massive defense.
Q? 58:50, Belgian handler defender on far left, #35, why does he just cover the break side? Seems like he's on the wrong side. He gives up two easy backfield resets when he could've sat on the other shoulder and forced the guy out.
59:23, BOS under cut, rail/sideline clear, speedy huck, turnover.
1:01:18, USA shreds thru the beligum switch on this handler give-go play.
1:05:39, bad clear, a poach on the reset fill and a wide open receiver on the hammer side, but a turnover.
1:10:24, Thrower is able to move the mark with a pivot/look to the dump and that opens up the inside break he was looking for.
    skipped some
    1:19:17, siiiick block
1:22:01, USA split stack, Belgium bracket
1:28:58, USA cut through Belgian zone D.
    Front of stack plays, Belgium
    11:42
    11:48
    11:55, looked off
    USA FOS
    14:30
25:09, he watches for the give go movement from 10, and when that doesn't happen he moves.
    30:07
    38:46
    43:41
    43:52
    48:14
    48:22
    59:12
    1:01:26
    skipped some
    1:22:44, and the continuation
1:22:59, nice move and nice break throw

Honestly what good are game advisors? Did they see any of the fouls/in outs?

    • @connerroth3416
      @connerroth3416 3 місяці тому

Observers are only allowed to call certain things - in/out, dangerous play, etc. They can make decisions on foul calls if asked by the players on the field, but they are generally there to provide clarification on rules and settle disputes.

41:20, the announcer trying to be nice to the Belgians. "An amazing greatest attempt, but was he in? This is going to be tricky. It does look like his foot might have been on the line." No, it's not tricky, his foot was 100% on the line, there's no disputing he clearly stepped out of bounds before leaving his feet for the greatest attempt. Great attempt, just not successful.

Really disappointed in the poor spirit from Belgium. They had some great moments and catches, loved cheering for them for that. But every call but two of them the US was correct on. Which is okay if you’re polite/retract. But Belgium was adamant and rude in their calls even when dead wrong. Even their fans boo’d good calls 😆 but that’s more understandable. Just thought it was funny

If you're talking about the foul he called at the beginning of the 2nd half, I disagree. The Belgium player only got to the disc first because he attempted to run through the USA player's legs, which caused him to fall.
As USA 22 said, he "sealed" the Belgium player out. Kinda like a "Box out" in basketball. 22 USA was in a position such that the only way the Belgium player could get to the disc was to go through the USA 22 player, which is what happened when he attempted to go through USA 22's legs and tripped him.

@clifft2269 at 57:22 Belgium's player tries to go through US player. Belgium's left knee hits US left foot. This causes the foot to go behind the leg and trips up the US player.

    • @charlietian4023
      @charlietian4023 Рік тому

i don't think any "go(ing) through" happens at all. They both were cutting into similar space and some leg grazing and incidental contact happens. Reverse offense and defense and see if that's still a foul@@The757packerfan

I’m not sure why the place of play is so slow. AUDL looks far more competitive, the cuts are much more aggressive and you see far fewer situations where the entire field is still bar one cutter and their defender.
The place of play in wfdf mixed is somehow even slower than this game!

    • @LeMagnifique87

Look at the field, the conditions were wet and the field got worse as it went along.

audl games are considerably longer. so they have time to make up for any mistakes made. and since they have that fact in the back of their mind they play a little riskier.

Interesting game, Belgium needs to learn disc space in the spirit of the game though ... markers Feet on feet, flailing all over their body idk, kinda sad to see. USA played a clean good game.
