Fun fact: According to David Tennant himself the sassy walk of Crowley is because first off he wanted to emphasize the fact Crowley was the snake in the garden of Eden and secondly the pants he had to wear where just too tight so he was forced to walk that way 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!! LOL
I always saw him as continuing to slither.
Not really a spoiler more just funny trivia: While Aziraphael runs a bookshop, he can never actually bring himself to sell any of the books because he's too attached to them.
Which, if you've ever been to a bookshop that isn't a franchise...
Ah, Good Omens, the show that explains “How did this cd of Queen’s Greatest Hits get in my car?”
I think it is worth clarifying that the horoscope is *Earth's* horoscope. The character stuck in the same daily pattern is the planet making its daily revolutions.
This is based upon a book written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett in 1990. They had planned to write a sequel book years later but Pratchett sadly died from complications of Alzheimer's disease in 2015 which he was diagnosed with in 2007. Ideas from that planned 2nd book will be worked into Good Omens' 3rd Season.
Not true, actually. The ideas for the sequel will be worked into the *third* season. Gaiman planned to do that for season 2, originally, but realised he needed an extra season to explain how things got from the end of the first story to the start of the second. Season 2 is a transition from the "book that was written" (season 1) to the "ideas that never got written" (season 3, one day).
@ My bad, edited.
1990, not 1999.
'Planned' is a stretch. They had a very rough outline for a sequel, but as both their careers took off they soon realised it'd be a nightmare to ever do. I think Sir Terry actually said in an interview that they only way it'd ever actually get made would be after one of them died and got out of the others' way.
(But this is Sir Terry Pratchett we're talking about, and he was a cynic on these things. He said the the difference between him and Neil was that Neil didn't believe that adaptations of his works would happen until he was in the cinema watching them, whereas it'd take more than that to convince Terry.)
“Good Omens 3rd season” is the best sentence I’ve heard today.
This show and The Sandman are basically Neil Gaiman's Barbenheimer.
This...this is the most accurate statement on the internet
i've never thought of it that way, but that's so true!
You are so right and I need you to drop this exact sentence in his tumblr inbox
🤣
Omg I've never been prouder of this fanbase. Absolutely glorious comment
Ah yes, the other really good Amazon Prime show about the conflicts between Heaven and Hell. I especially love how this one is so unapologetically British. Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's unique humor really shines. And David Tennant once again is perfectly cast. I love Crawley so much.
Spoiler
If I had a nickel for every fantastic Amazon Prime show starring a gay Angel and Demon couple trying to deal with a conflict between Heaven and Hell together as well as stop someone named Adam from doing something horrible, I'd have two nickels; which isn't a lot, but it's strange that it happened twice.

What's the other one?

Hey everyone! Remember to keep the comments free of any spoilers of future episodes for Mosco. Have fun & be creative with fake spoilers! Also, make sure we’re keeping the comments cool & comfortable for everyone here. Enjoy the reaction y’all!!!

I hope this is not considered a spoiler:
The third child does not come up again in the show, but he does come up again in the book. They cut his character.
Good ol' Greasy Johnson 🤣
You were right you see, about the fish.
Really? What did he do in the book, if you remember, I'm curious..
@@lea9759 From what I remember he and his friend group were rivals with the Them and I believe he did have award winning tropical fish 🐠

i am so happy that both Morgan and Mosco are reacting to Good Omens now aAAAAAAA, now it's just Elijah left, pleeeeeeease love it it is sooo good. I'm a sagittarius
As someone who read the book years before this show was made, David Tennant truly nails Crowley. He plays the role so well. There are descriptions of the way Crowley moves in the book that I legitimately did not know it was possible to portray in real life, and somehow he manages it.
I never caught onto the visual of Aziraphale standing between the angels (heaven) and Earth, but I’m so glad you pointed it out! He is a Principality after all, so it makes sense that he’s still attempting to protect Earth since being stationed at the garden of Eden 6000 years ago
Crowley/David Tennant are my absolute favorites but I think you’ll really come to appreciate Michael Sheen’s acting in this! Criminally underrated.
Crowley is not good or evil, he is actually just a duck and is secretly working for the duck overlord trying to turn Aziraphale into a pidgeon. This gets revealed in episode 11, fair warning. ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ
That's why Lucifer is so obsessed with ducks in Hazbin. He has an unrequited crush on Crowley.
@@AZDfox this is somehow funnier to me with only context of hazbin. Only seen ep1 of this show
A duck that loves to swim in a vault filled with gold coins
@@AZDfox We all have an unrequited crush on Crowley.
Hands up who loves David Tennant and will play any role and be brilliant as them always. ❤💜🎉

Terry Pratchett! Terry Pratchett! Terry Pratchett!
Also Neil Gaiman! Also Neil Gaiman! Also Neil Gaiman! 😉
@@SebastianWeinberg they're both great
GNU Sir Terry Pratchett
The whole plot thread about the antichrist being raised by an american diplomat, with an evil nanny and a hellhound is from the 1976 film 'The Omen' - that film shows how it presumably would have gone if the demon's plot had gone as planned 🙂. Plus, as a bonus, it also has one of the Doctors (Patrick Troughton) as a character. Two Doctors actually, if you include David Warner who has played the part in a few audio plays.
Friends, if you are a fan of Good Omens, I beseech you to watch The Omen. After all, one is a parody of the other. There are so many moments that will make you say “oh! That’s why they did that weirdly specific thing!”
Not a fan of horror movies.
13:48 To answer you question about the last baby: it's not stated in the show but it is in the book, he is adopted and has goldfish. He does know Adam but there not friends.
What a great observation of the shot where Aziraphale stands between the archangels and the Earth.
In the next episode, Tennant speaks Welsh and Sheen speaks Gaelic! Oh snap! Didn't expect that did ya!? Lol :P
I cannot wait to see Mos react to Crowley getting stuck in Rush Hour traffic and spemding part of an episode just yelling at his car and the other drivers.
Love the fact that you are actually able to keep up and even do some predictions. It is so fun to watch you be so frustrated by the fact that they are watching the wrong child
Morgan Terry was crying A LOT while watching this show
Two has already fallen for this show, one left !^^
lol, 'fallen' is a funny word choice considering the show
I love how you call yourself an idiot but then proceed to guess at least half of the things that are going to happen in an episode
one fun bit is that at least some of the writers of Supernatural were fans of the Good Omens books, so you'll notice that some of the SPN chars are kinda inspired by good omens characters.
14:00 - The 3rd baby IS in the book! But he isn't in the show after this.
Re. the "godfathers" and "Y chromosome male boy son" thing... There's a whole sub-genre of Good Omens fanfic that is "magical queer godparents" wish fulfillment on AO3. And when Warlock is in those, he/she/they is NEVER the straight and/or cis son this dad is expecting!
I LOVE the queer Warlock reconnects with his found family fics, they're so heartwarming 🥰
Strictly speaking, the show hasn't ended yet.
i've read a lot of Good Omens fics, but i've never read any of those! They sound adorable though, so i'll definitely need to look for some lol
@@broblerone413 There aren't that many, considering how many GO fics there are, a personal favourite of mine is Almost familiar 💖
@@Miroslava_Ivanova oh cool, thanks :)
If you're already laughing this hard, I genuinely can't wait to see the rest of the series! There's an apparently very British joke that was super funny to non-British me, so I'm really looking forward to that
Which joke was it? (Unless it's too spoilery to say).
@@aisleelovegreenwood6448 I consider it a spoiler because the show has a very much comedic tone; jokes are part of the entertainment value. That and it _is_ also just a very cool scene as a whole. But I will "reveal" it as soon as she reacts to it(and publicly releases it I guess).
@@michaelcheng9987 Thanks!😄I'll look forward to it, and I appreciate you keeping things spoiler-free for Moscow!❤It's gonna be so fun watching her reaction
@@aisleelovegreenwood6448 Okay, the joke was about the M25. The joke itself wasn't in her reaction, though.
Anyway, to me it was a really funny joke, because the M25 is apparently just very much hated in real life. So someone (most likely Terry Pratchett), took that and said "well I don't know, it might not have been _too_ bad, if not for demonic intervention!"
And on top of that, Crowley had to do several things to bring it about, including just straight up moving the road markers himself. Then, someone either wasn't paid enough or couldn't be bothered to check if it was right. And then, it quite literally _blows up in his face_ when it "catches on fire or something".
@@michaelcheng9987 😂
There is an excellent audiobook of Good Omens they released to promote this show and it's read by most of the cast.
Also, there is a BBC radio adaptation from 2015 that is available on Audible and also the Internet Archive. Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman have cameo roles. Lots of fun.
Michael and David are such a joy and pleasure in this show.
Is it too forward to picture Mosco and Elijah adorably cosplaying as Crowley and Aziraphale?
The Question Is: Who Will Be Aziraphale? And Who Will Be Crowley?
@@hannahburke7328I can see Elijah as Crowley
@@hannahburke7328 Hm. Elijah has Aziraphale's personality down, but Mosco has Aziraphale''s complexion. Tough call.
Before the series came out, they released a teaser with the nuns singing. You should react to it, you will not be disappointed!
Is anyone else really excited to see Mosco react to the Scottland episode
YES! I will very much look forward to that! 🌸of 🏴!😂🤣

The TV show doesn't address what happens to the American child but the book does.
God does tell us what will happen to him.
@@donsample1002 yes in the book, in the TV show it's never confirmed what happens to the 3rd child
can't wait for you to see aziraphale and gabriel get together as the world burns :)
Unlike most of the people in the comments, this is my first video of yours. I immediately click on all _Good Omens_ reactions, which generally serves me well. I enjoyed this. You predict a lot of things that happen (in this episode).
I'm so excited for you to see Saint Walpurga the character that will play a big role in Armageddon. She is such a cool unique character, especially her gorgeous dress.
Yes. I'm a big fan, having been born on Walpurgisnacht, meaning I'm a Taurus, although I don't believe in astrology. Taureans usually don't, you know.
Hooray!!! I'm so glad you're starting this! The book this is based off of has a ridiculous amount of incisive wit, and while I never expected this adaptation to be bad, the additions are basically Tennant and Sheen being fantastic actors, so it's truly one of the best book adaptations I've ever come across!
AHH, the reactor have started reacting to good omens, i can die happy

Anyway, always love people watching this show with such enthusiasm, it's been one of my faves since 2019 😊
I love how you were able to keep up with the show so well and even started guessing at where things might go, some people find this episode a little overwhelming with how much stuff is in it.
Can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the season 😁
Good Omens is one of my favorite books ever and the show was done amazingly well. David Tennant and Michael Sheen are perfect in their roles. Edit: just so you know the book is written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, it is sarcastic comedy at its best
The Nun thought she was giving the baby to the American Ambassador, so she might not be so helpful.
Mosco: *consistently calls herself an idiot.*
Also mosco: *regularly guesses plot points before they happen.*
In the book the third baby grows up in the same town as Adam and is the town bully. This was cut from the show.
I'm not sure he's a bully, but they have a rivalry that everyone seems to enjoy a lot. Also, the show isn't over yet.
@@HuntingViolets The book states that he was in fact a bully, who became so because he was clumsy, massive, and strong anyways. He chose to be a bully because it gave him an illusion of control.
@@karlwilker579 Okay, I couldn't recall. I thought there was a bit more depth to it than that.
@@HuntingViolets I think there is some depth in that he became that way due to his own insecurities of his clumsiness and size.
I legit thought you had reacted to this already for some reason, was SO excited to see it pop up in my feed! I can't wait for you to experience these characters.
Yes! So excited to see you start Good Omens-I have a feeling it’ll be right up your street! 😃
17:35 Nothing wrong with the Sound of Music, until you have to listen to it on repeat, all the time, every day, for "ETERNI-TAAAAY!"
Also, I'm an Aries.
You should check out the “They’re Only Human” animatic by Speremint. The song is from the Death Note Musical, but the animatic adapts it to “Good Omens” and it works really, really well.
there's also some fun animatics based on the demo songs from the upcoming Good Omens musical!
0:15 Morgan Is Seeing Good Omens And Now Mosco! 😆
6 Episodes In 2 Seasons.
To quote The Good Place:
"It ran for 16 years on the BBC; they did nearly 30 episodes."
Love the bit you picked up about Aziraphale literally standing between Heaven and Earth. Keep in mind that Aziraphale is, by design, a protector of humanity. He guarded the first humans in Eden and gifted them an extension of himself to protect them when they were exiled. His job is to stand and defend, not to run. This aspect of his personality is so well communicated and will absolutely come into play in later episodes as well.
I can’t believe how quickly you tuned into Crowley trying to tempt the angel to make him fall! He really is a wily demon!
I am so excited to see you undergo this journey. Delighted to be there right alongside you.
I am so ready for more of this series. Your delight for this episode is just perfect.
This is going to be a fun ride I can tell.
I love it when the hell hound wins a ribbon.😊
Just you wait till Charlie Morningstar's cameo..
Just came across your channel! This show is so good! I can't wait to watch this with you. David Tennant and Michael Sheen are perfection!
Morgan is reacting to Good Omens and now you Mosco? we are only missing Elijah and we have the trifecta 😁, In all seriousness I'm delighted to see you and Morgan react to this show, I'm always happy to see more people who get know about Good Omens and the amazing cast chosen for the characters.
So happy that Morgan encouraged you to watch this shows! This show is a fun time! Also hello, nice to meet you, I’m a Pisces! ♓️
Not a spoiler, just the two creators of this show/book confirmed that they wrote the angels and demons to be without sex (they can have genders and Crowley is most definetly genderfluid), also sending much love to Terry Pratchett, can't wait to see your reaction to the whole show !!!
Adam names his Hellhound puppy Snuffles and they get to go on a road trip with the horsemen of the apocalypse!
OH, nearly forgot about fake spoilers:
1. Az (what I call Aziraphale) and Crowley are canonically in love and have a happy ending in season 2.
2. A man obsessed with the number of nipples people have will point at someone with his finger and they will happen to disappear at the exact same time. If I had a nickel for every time this happened in this season, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Looking forward to your meeting the five horsemen of the apocalypse especially DEATH and his horse Binky and of course the lascivious machinations of the Whore of Babylon. Though I think seeing the seven seals being broken was too much gratuitous violence for a comedy show - though it does say none of the cute seals were hurt during filming.
@@davidwebb4451 my favorite characters from Good Omens are Dean and Sam, two demon hunting brothers
Crowley and Aziraphale have been happily corrupting each other for thousands of years, the ideal relationship.
Gahhh I love your theories! You catch on to absolutely everything so fast- now let's see where things go muahahaha >:D
I love they got Nick Offerman to play the American ambassador. I hope he had fun
Has lead been invented 😂
Great reaction, absolutely loved every second of it.
For some background, if you're interested in how Crowley is different from the other demons and why he did what he did, it's because humanity has become too plentiful.
The other two demons take a year or a decade on corrupting one soul fully to their side and Crowley, in bringing down the mobile phone network, is just making tiny progress, a thin patina of sin, but affecting hundred thousands of people at the same time who then go on to make the lives of other people miserable and thus corrupting them that tiny bit as well. With so many humans, he figures, you can't pick them off one at a time anymore. But Hastur and Ligur don't understand that because they haven't been directly interacting with humanity for 6000 years.
I will die on the hill that Crowley is the most efficient demon.
@@HuntingViolets plus, he adapts with the times
@@broblerone413 Exactly!
You are going to love when Crowley confesses her love to Aziraphale and Aziraphale loves Crowley back and they go to a cottage in south downs and live happily ever after

Edit: oh and I'm a Taurus, May 20th
OMG GOOD OMENS YES MOSCO THANK YOU!!!!!!
Best birthday present ever woooo!!!!
😏So you're an Aries, eh? Happy birthday!😄
This series is an almost perfect adoptation from the book. Sir Terry Pratchett's unique wit and humour really shines, he is also my #1 favorite author. He is the creator of the Discworld series, which are all filled with this type of humour, unique style of writing and so many fun characters.
I've not seen or read as much of Gaiman's work, but he is good at dark themes. He did Coraline which I you've reacted to. So both of them makes a really fun mix.
A little extra fun detail about this book/series is that the world and I share a birthday. 21st Oct! Also Tennant and Sheen as a duo are sheer perfection, fantastic chemistry!
Really love that you've started this and DuckTales. I really hope you continue with both series! Have a fantastic weekend!
They were golden-haired as babies (actually, I'm not even sure they were, looking at them), but that doesn't usually last.
I like how you managed to read into/predict things that are about to happen most of the reactors I've seen get a little confused on the first episode 😅
And I love how you analysed the composition of the scene too!
But this going to be a jolly good ride >:)
_Good Omens_ has been one of my favourite books for _decades._ Pratchett and Gaiman at the top of their game.
We got two out of three all we need now Elijah. Now everybody comment react to good omens
Yesss it’s time
So glad you're reacting to this show! I've been nuts about the book since I was a kid, and the show is that rare thing of a genuinely fantastic adaptation! (Well, the first season is an adaptation of the book. The second season is transitional, and the third season is going to be the plot of the sequel that the authors planned together but never got around to writing.) Fun fact: the old school ship name for Aziraphale and Crowley was Air Conditioning. Because AC. Nowadays you'll more often hear Ineffable Husbands or aziracrow.
Crowley ends up playing the drums in a music concert
the part where he does a Queen solo is my favorite
Let's face it, we needed another Scottish icon after Sean Connory. A *better* Scottish icon for the new century.
My favourite characters in Good Omens are definitely Crowley and Aziraphale's wives, Dottie and Sadie.
Yes! They're amazing! I've heard they're going to be getting a lot more screen time in season 3. Overdue, if you ask me.
You say that you're an idiot but your media literacy is refreshing. Are you in the analysis nerds club by any chance (like me)?
I LOVE how much thought you put into things! I'm not sure that I've seen anyone else notice the camera shots in the heaven scene, but I absolutely agree that it was a deliberate choice to show Aziraphale separate from the other angels and standing between them and earth.
YOU'RE REACTING TO THIS TOO OMG!! :D
Yes! So happy you’re watching this!!!
Love that you're doing this series! Can't wait to see your reaction to when Aziraphale has to save the king. Or more preciseley, your reaction to how he does it.
