Is the Killer Instinct panel from Arcade1Up actually different from their other panels? 4K 60fps HDR

- This is a quick video showing what the inside of the KI panel looks like. In the other Killer Instinct videos, I couldn't find confirmation that the sticks and buttons were actually different, so we go over that in this video!

Here's something funny: the gates on your sticks are black but the ones which came in my KI cab are clear.
That is weird! Yeah all my cabs came with clear gates! The black gates look like the same super cheap plastic the joystick enclosure has around it. So wonder if they have a couple variants floating around. Maybe that's why my sticks felt so lousy that I swapped them out right away?
@@OfficeArcade Seeing the variation between your controls and mine made me think about the QC issues with these KI cabs. I haven't experienced any issues so far but did more research just in case. At first it seemed like a power issue but AC1-up posted they've narrowed the problem down to the control deck itself. I doubt the sticks would cause boot issues but maybe other parts are different too (like the encoder). Just thinking out loud now.
@@dariusq8894 could be man! That’s exactly where my head is at too after you told me we had variations in components in our decks.

So much glue Downbeat! So much. Have a followup with a joystick swap which shows how they are definitely making it harder to do part swaps which is unfortunately too. More glue and proprietary parts that don't use standard sizes.
