He's been using a Conte "Pierre Noire"1710 B. Not sure if they're made with charcoal or carbon or what, but they're really beautiful pencils (cost a pretty penny, too, of course). Wide tonal range with deep blacks and the medium is very thick, so they have lots of expressive potential. A bit like charcoal, but waxier.

Welcome, to a League Of Legends Champion Spotlight. Featuring Proko, The Artists' Savior.
Proko is an artist. A great sketcher, who helps his people discover their talents.
In game, Proko is a high burst mage that excels at Self and team utility.
    Q-Pencil Torment
Proko tosses a pencil that marks the target enemy, and explodes after a short delay.
If Pencil Torment is casted on minions, the pencil pierces towards anything in it's path. If it hits 1 enemy minion, the minion is fully killed and restores 10% mana based on level.
    W- Anatomy Cage
Proko sends out his friend Skelly to surround the enemy champion and roots them for 1 second.
    E-Smudge
Proko smudges the charcoal he throws on the ground.
If enemy champions walk over it, they're slowed and take damage overtime.
If an ally champion walks over it, they gain movement speed and a shield for 6 seconds.
    R-Artist's Rage
Proko creates a hole on the ground; after a pencil launches, every enemy is knocked up and are stunned for 2 seconds.
I was bored so I wrote this.

Hi Stan, I have just come across your channel and you have helped me immensely, so thankyou very much. I have a few questions however, being:
    1) Do you use hard, medium or soft charcoal?
    2) How does your charcoal blend so neatly without a blending stump?
My art looks a bit muddy, which i tried to fix by blending, which in turn changed the colour and texture. Maybe it has something to do with the paper?
(I know I am 12 years late but if you could respond i would really appreciate it.)
    Thankyou again!
