If they can bring leliana from dead back, they can bring the warden back. Also, it is very sad that Bioware wouldn't acknowledge the glitch in Origin where you can end up as lover for both Morrigan and Leliana
Great work. In hindsight, this is maybe the most fitting fate for the Hero. Not the best, because dying sucks and this means (probably) no huge character development for Morrigan, but compared to the throwaway morsel we're given in Inquisition, it's better to see the Hero like this, still inspiring friends, lovers, and companions alike. The man with Leliana, Alistair's Queen and the Dalish woman are other non-Wardens origins?
I thought it is the most fitting fate for the hero too. I'm a happy ending kind'a guy but in Inquisition, Bioware wasted a huge potential on this part and instead trying to promote a character called Stroud. Who the f**k is Stroud? And why should we care about him? It's kinda frustrating to see. Ugh! And yes, those characters you mentioned are non-warden origins people.
@@makara204 Stroud was in Dragon Age 2. He saves/doesn't save Bethany/Carver from dying in the Deep Roads depending on your choices. Also he may or may not appear later in the siege of Kirkwall, depending on if Alistair remained with the Wardens or not. What's wrong with introducing new characters? Does every npc needs to be identifiable and inspirational? Hero of Ferelden is as identifiable and inspirational as much as player chooses. Same with Inquisitor. And Champion between them.
Makara, I've been watching your videos for about a week now and I've loved them, but this...this is heart wrenching...I'm actually crying...Beautiful. I don't know what else to say.
My first Warden was an Amell mage. I will always be a mage in my heart now, because of Dragon Age: Origins. I love your video. Words cannot express how much.
I always make my first playthrough a "canon" one, when I don't know the spoilers yet, and my Warden was Lina Amell who made Alistair do the dark ritual. It was fitting because survival seemed like a better option. The one thing that changed several times is the mistress thing. The first time he dumped my warden because "mages", I got upset and did a second run to become his mistress. But after Awakening and DA2 this decision kinda remained a headcanon, because there was no mention of this relationship at all which sucked. But then I kinda cаme to terms with it? I realized that it was more fitting for the story and for my warden, so now I like my very first playthrough more. I'm not sure I'm ready to say goodbye to my warden yet (after Inquisition this thought crossed my mind), but I really liked your story. p.s.: sorry for the long post :c p.p.s: your memorial for the warden is better than in the game.

In my inquisition playthrough, the warden is sacrificed. There's a memorial of the Warden in Inquisition? Is it that bad that I missed it? OMG!
The monument is located in Redcliff and it looks like a giant griffon. There's a codex entry about Hero of Ferelden, iirc.
