@@jasonands1962 It's a necessary battle of legal definition, not deception. The argument over symantecs is perpetually propigated and adjudicated within the framework of our federal legal system, in large part due to the ATF pandering to elected anti 2A elected federal zealots on capital hill that are again attempting to redefine the definition of a firearm, to classify all major components as each being a firearm by definition unto themselves. If such laws are passed, would require fed regulation, including an FFL license for commercial sales. This would include braces, uppers, barrels, grips, bolt and trigger groups ect as firearms.

Definitely should have a light or laser on the front, as shown on their website, which makes it a non-issue.

Not sure if you will see this but tactical development makes a front sight/charging handle for the P320 and will work really well with this set up.

My girl does the same as yours. Rifles on the left. Pistols on the right. Something about having a lazy eye when she was a kid makes it hard for her to focus rifles on the right.
I generally don't like to just "Bust" something like that out in front of my buddies because they get all envious that I have it. On the other hand the ladies seem pleased when I "Ease" it out and show it to them slowly. Then, once they get used to handling it,...they have such a nice time. It really puts a smile on their face. :D

I just bought one last Monday and shot it over the weekend. Never was much of a regular 92 fan but the grip and sights are game changers on the 92X
Just picked up a full size 92x. It's worlds apart from my old surplus 92S. The trigger, the grip, the sights, the mag release, and if you can get the G model(decocker only). I feel like selling my other 9x19 handguns.
Don't pass up considering its nemesis the 226.

The APX family needs more aftermarket love... One of the reasons I got my APX Combat was for its chassis system and the potential to swap and drop into systems like these. :(
Agreed. Sadly 2 years later all we have is a slide revision that makes it look boring. I still like my APX, but beretta needs to step up.

Tough price tag at 400$. You can be in a CZ scorpion for a bit less. They need a good production engineer to sharpen their cost.

I have to say that while the flux raidr is a fantastic product, their CS was rather lacking. I ordered mine in JAN of 2020 and received it late DEC 2020. 6-8 weeks was what was promised. I understand the pandemic caused some issues, but they really didn't tell anyone anything other than soon™. I guess it doesn't matter anyway, they have been and probably will continue to be perpetually sold out. -edit: also, if you buy an m17 to use in this brace, you must have NMS version of the m17, or buy the safety delete kit.

Yes, the front has a rounded cutout for suppressors.

That is a cool HD firearm for sure. It is not something that is easily concealble unless in a sling under a jacket. However, as a Home Defense or tactical platform, I see it as a hard to beat option as it is light and compact which means less material out front when sweeping and clearing buildings.
I have a question though how difficult would it be to make it multi-caliber compatible? It would be nice if you could switch between 9mm, 40 cal, 10mm, and 45 acp all with the same lower receiver.
I see great modularity potential in this platform. One that takes 2011 components could make it capable of 5" barrel and range from 22TCM to 45 acp with relatively simple adjustments to the brace system. Even if the development raised the cost by another hundred dollars or so; I think it would be well worth the investment. I think its popularity would soar and let's face it the 1911 and 2011 platforms are tried and true performers with cult like following.

I don't know if you noticed, but you kept using the frame slide release, but the brace release also works as the slide release. So you can drop the slide with your trigger finger
In a weird way, i do wish it had a velcro arm strap to help in the argument that it isnt a stock.
Also debating in my head whether or not an ability to put in tungsten rods would be pointless.

Great video. Can you do a review of the Taurus gx4? It seems like all of youtube is giving it a great review, which makes me suspicious. I trust your unbiased opinion and would be interested to see if it any good. That being said, I am not a Taurus fan, I just want to see if Taurus is actually getting better.
Seems like it would benefit from thumb rests like the chassis from CAA has.
I own one and installed a suppressor and flash light makes the thumb a little safer

It Looks like one of the 1st upgrades you can do to your pistol in a Fallout video game in the first hour of play. Then you kill a Raider with a decent rifle and drop it like a hot potato for the rifle.
do you think a pistol with such a chassis can easily replace a PCC or is there still a place for them?
i got an APC9 from B&T but they also make USW pistol chassis for PPQ and Glocks which i now are quite good
If you really want to tacti-"cool" it, just get a threaded barrel to supress and add a flashlight/laser combo on the pic-rail.

maybe next gen they could enlarge the trigger guard to allow a hold similar to the PS90/P90?
Added plus would be if you were able to delete some of those ambi controls to minimize accidental mag drops, slide drop, ect. But looks like a cheap fun set up for many applications, cheap compact car or truck gun, fun gun, bedside ect. Great review!!
Pretty much everything on the Raider is optional - if you don't like X, it is easily removed with the allen key that is held and stored above the grip.

I feel like this would be a great second gun for Motorcycle Cops I think it’s to big to ride with but in a saddle bag that would work very well

Check out the csm mp57 chassis system. Its the same principle but uses a ruger 5.7 as the host.

It'd be great if they released a gen 2 of their glock brace modeled after this one. The front magwell and the top pic mount put this in another league from the glock brace...
My longest shot with 2 different 9MM's consistently without any bracing was 117 yards away on a steel target 12" wide and 48" tall. That simulated the size of a person. All rounds hit. Although I didn't look at the target after I emptied 1 complete mage from each gun. I'm very sure that most rounds hit low yet all still hit.

Yeah, you don't want to lose your thumb. You never know when you'll need to use that as part of a first aid / trauma kit.
Add a silencer to it and this becomes a great, compact home defense system!

For me the reason to go pdw is for supression and 45 is were it's at.
Wish this was capable of a 45 conversion.
I went with caa mck for p320 instead of the flux because of how quickly I can remove the gun from the brace. But flux definitely got a better conceal factor unless its in a backpack
