- Present-day Iran takes its root in the ancient Persian Empire, founded by Cyrus the Great around 550 B.C. By the 5th century B.C., it was the largest empire the world had ever seen, surpassing the size of its Assyrian predecessors.
The majority of the high jewelry now in the Iranian National Jewels collection was acquired by the Safavid dynasty, which ruled Iran from 1502 to 1736 AD. Iran boasts a rich history studded with mesmerizing high jewelry collections that you won’t find anywhere else. Join us as we explore the most beautiful and expensive royal high jewelry of imperial Iran.

It's my favorite crown 👑 the Empress Farah's crown, it's breathtaking 👑🌹⚜️🇺🇸
It's a real treasure. I often wonder why the incredible jewels from places like Iran and India don't get as much attention as their counterparts in Europe
She was an extraordinarily stunning beauty.
No words can express how beautifully this vlog is been made. Kudos to the entire team
Thanks a ton. Your kind words have made me so happy.
Her Imperial Majesty’s Shahbanu Farah’s crown is so beautiful!😭💚🤍❤️
So beautiful. Sometimes I wonder why the royal jewels of other places like Iran/Persia and India don't get as much attention as their counterparts in Europe
I’ve not seen most of these items. The tiaras, especially the giant pink Diamond one, whoa! And the Daria I Noor
The jewels are magnificent! I'm happy you enjoyed the video😊
Both diamonds (Daria-I Noor and Noor Al Ain) were cut from one large pink diamond probably weighed over 250 carat , which was once placed in the centre of the Mughal emperor throne in India. It was brought to Iran by Nadir shah after invading India.
Most magnificent collection. Thank you so much for sharing.🌿♥️🌿
You're so welcome. I often wonder why the collection isn't as famous as it should be. It's incredible
Supposedly what shines in their Jewels should Shine in their DEEDS & Soul
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and photos of these fabulous, historical gems.
You're welcome and I'm so happy you enjoyed the video ❤️
I love the history lesson at the beginning of video. A lot of us Westerners don't get any knowledge of the middle east, Africa and Pan Asia in our schools so it's great that you have a lot of context about the jewelry within the content!
You're so welcome. I like to give a brief history of the different countries as each is as unique as the jewels they wear. I am so happy you appreciate it. Thank you for watching.
Beautifully made and informative 👍🏻
Thanks a lot 😊 I'm glad you liked it.

😞 an era unfortunately shall never return to Iran
The royal jewels are truly a sight
? Are the sketches kept before making the pieces of jewelry from back in the day?
Yes, most brands like Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels still have sketches from centuries-old designs
Long live the Pahlavi 👑👑👑🩵🩵🩵

❤❤❤❤❤amen❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Sheer beauty,
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it❤️
Jewelry and items designed to impress but not to be graceful or artistic. Too over the top to be masterpieces.
Interesting. I do think that they were intended to flaunt the wealth of the kingdom, but I actually did like some of them.
Beautiful jewelry, but… remember that the Shah Reza was essentially a dictator who overthrew a democratically elected prime minister. And that these pieces have little to no historical significance. Many of the gem stones were/are spectacularly rare and valuable. The so-called coronation of the Shah was an equally expensive party or series of parties for high government officials and royalty from around the globe. I remember that much ado was made of the celebration made of the restoration (if that is a proper word)!of the Peacock Throne.
It has taken over 49 years for the official records of the Shah Reza Oahalis downfall to be exposed and the most horrendous conspiracy of the west to destroy a constitutional monarchy that was modernising Iran at a tremendous speed to be removed and a fanatical terrorist Mulla like khomini flown from France to take over the country. I am shocked to see you repeat the jargon and lies of the time which was produced by BBC and NBC to destroy the best government of Iran and the greatest peace keeping force in the middle east. You can see what has befallen the region since then with the fanatical Islamist in power. The Western gread for getting the OPEC oil for cheap led Carter, Discard D'Estaind and other Western heads aimed to stop Irans raising prices to fund it's development while they kept raising prices of goods Iran needed such as grain. The Shah was and his son prince Reza Pahlavi are still our legitimate and much loved heads. You should learn about the great resistances to the Islamic regime in Iran and call of the people for the return of the Shah. Please update yourself on Iran issues before making a comment that is a repeat of 49 years ago propaganda when there was very limited sources of news and therefore very little transparency in political manipulations at the time .
Wont it be amazing when taking care of the poor is considered as magnificent. One day, these stones will mean nothing, while life, rights, and people die in the streets. Iran, Russia, and the UK. Times are changing.
YES, times are changing, but so is Mother Earth, we all might have to buckle up!
I agree. Thank you for sharing.✌️
What are you even talking about ? Gems only gain more value as the time goes with the dollar devaluating and more inflations in the future
I l
I love everthing about this video.
Thank you so much. Iran has truly amazing jewels!
All the gems and golds were looted from India. Go through history of Persian muslim invasion on India.
The Indian subcontinent has always intrigued me. It's a history lesson I'm willing to take.
Subject is good but boys is too boring. Sorry.
