So I'm the new owner of this truck. Small world story. I looked at this video prior to looking at a pre owned one in person. On test drive I noticed the modified interior lighting. Then the car fax selling dealer matched the dealer plate that was on the front of the truck seen in his first video. Then I pulled out the tail lamp and matched the quality control signature to the video. Kinda fun seeing video from the previous owner lol
@@JosePerez027 they are all still working fine. When I got the truck the rear cab lights were halogen and not the LEDs. I guess there is some issue on these trucks if you put LEDs in place of the halogen cab light bulbs.
I replaced all of the same lights you did with LEDs, but I bought Sylvania Evo from the local parts store because I had too much trouble with Amazon and eBay LEDs not working properly and flickering all the time. My Tundra is a 2018 Limited Crewmax 4wd
For the vanity lights I slightly rotated the LED’s sideways so they aren’t so bright since they shine in one direction only. I love that the leds dim when the door is shut, and they don’t flash. I’ve done all these light upgrades on my 2021. makes the truck look so much better.
Great video. I ordered the same LED package for my 2020 Tundra and it absolutely is a game changer. Really a must for anyone looking to upgrade their dated stock lights for relatively cheap. I was not able to change out the light bulb above the driver side footwell.
Hey Sean, love your Tundra man. I have the same color and body style. The LED lights where the first mods that I had performed on my 2017 Tundra. It's indeed a MUST to do as I felt that the warm color was a bit unenjoyable to my taste. But, I must say, I do like the warm light color near the foot well because it's not bright but just right. The only problem when you mod the Tundra, once you start with the LED upgrade, you just can't stop lol. I've basically went MOD crazy with my Tundra, from suspension to mirrors etc. But it's fun and very much enjoyable to spend time under the hood. Can't wait to see your Tundra next mod man.

Should mention there are 3 bulbs in cargo housing and only the left and right LEDS are replacing the factory bulbs. The middle stays for the brake light. Just did my exact swap today. Looks great!
The LED won’t give you problems? My tail lights were led and I have to town to the dealership because I have a message that said brake override malfunction visit your dealer
Yeeesss love the light switch , you just need the right tools and be a little careful then its not so bad. Really liked the video, different editing style or similar but very good. I was surprised your map lights you didn't have a button to turn them on as you needed to push them unless you prefer it that way. Car looks like a pimp modded monster haha. Good work

Hi I also did this mode I love it .. I also what to do the head lights with LED I forgot to say that I had problems with the courtesy or the foot rest I just couldn’t install it earthier.
I did that same mod but I had a problem the dome light doesn't work when I took out the original light and replaced the LED it didn't want to turn on Idk if I opened the prongs that hold the light to big but I have no dome light and I hate it do you have any suggestions thanks
Your Truck looks great. I’m still shopping for running boards and a bed cover. Bed cover I’m considering the Bakflip MX4 but I have not decided on running boards yet. I do like yours. I’m going to try and locate those.

I went with Undercover Flex cover. Preferred it cuz it stands up when it's folded all the way up versus the bakflip which leans against the window/truck.
Also did the outside lights under the mirrors on my 2018 1794. First change was kind of difficult but second was pretty easy. Looks so much better. Looking for running boards for my new 2021 Nightshade. Anyone have suggestions?
Hi Sean, thanks for the great video! I was wondering when you swapped out the reverse light, did you happen to crack your tail light when doing it? It appears at 9:13 in the video, the red plastic is cracked and separated from the lens cover. I hope not, but was just wondering since the light takes a good tug to remove it. Thanks!

How has you're Tundy behaving since installation? Any issues?
Still running strong. Everytime I reverse I look into the camera at the license plate lights for flickering. But good to go after seven months or so

Installed these LEDs about 2 months ago. I’ve just blew at least one fuse, maybe more. These lights look great but didn’t last.

They are still working. Only one went out which was for license plate light but I kept the spares worked out fine.

So life happened. But I should start making new content by august and start uploading it.
In the future, you should wear some kind of gloves. Your oils in your skin effect the longevity of your new halogen bulbs

No I didn’t. I did get it to turn on but it was too loose. I stuck the stock one back in.

That’s sounds great. I personally didn’t need to disconnect any battery. But it’s always a good safety measure to disconnect it.

Luckily I didn’t crack the tail lights. You have to be really careful. But it is quite fragile.
The light locks into that piece.
Nothing for Brake/Turn ?
Not yet. But do plan on getting something for brake and turn lights. Only issue is price. Each pair of bulbs is $15-25.
