I would give my spot to any of the professionals in the tournament. That is providing they approach me correctly and being respectful. That wasn’t cool what so ever the way Zaldain handled the situation. I can’t believe he posted the video and thinking he was in the right. “ NOT COOL “! He would have been one of the last people I thought would pulled that. I am not saying I won’t watch his podcast anymore but it’s made me think twice simply because of that incident.

Sorry I missed live, I didn't see Matt's FB post. Glad Thrifty is back in the Redcrest cut, hope he stays there. As long as he, and Andy Morgan, are in it, I'm good. He's got some work to do for the heavy hitters, and he's made good money in those the last two years. BASS is in need of some adult supervision.

Great show boys! love that you actually detailed the DQs and other infractions that have been handed down since people on the outside pretty much never get to see or hear anything about them. wish they would actually make that stuff more public.

everyone’s making an excuse of him being a kid. i fished pro tournaments when i was 19-20 and didn’t run into these issues. lots of us did. my mom didn’t have to travel with me either ..

The issue to me is he's broken multiple rules in a short amount of time. The kid can catch em but he's a professional now....he needs to take accountability and focus on his job as a whole. Not just catch fish@@brandonackersonfishing5738

It's funny listening to all the veteran fisherman talking about all the rules this year I've watched tournament fishing for over 20 years seems to me like I don't remember all this rule talking last 20 years seems like a lot of grasping at straws if you ask me and I'm 54 years old I'm not a young gun a lot of these veterans fisherman had forward facing sonar for years before any of these rookies even came into the elites and it just set on the front decks so who's really to blame about this and where they're at now seems like they all got a little too comfortable if you ask me and dug their own holes.

I have been trying to defend McKinney every step of the way but dude is shooting himself in the foot. Regardless of how stiff the penalties are, the optics of getting infractions constantly in your rookie year does not bode well for longevity when a big part of being a pro angler with sponsors is having a good image. Or if you have a “rough” image it is for being fun (Matt Robertson) and not for bending rules. It would be better for Trey to get a 45th place with no drama than it would be to win another with some more controversy. Just my 2 cents that doesn’t add up to a nickel of nothing. Good show guys.

So what would have happened is Tre McKinney’s Mom texted him to come in ? No one would known! A marshal can see you answer a phone . You mentioned that you look at your phone from time to time just to see if someone has called . While doing that you could read a text !

Where there’s smoke there’s fire. McKinney needs to be suspended for the rest of the year and Classic for next year revoked.
True story. Years ago I was court orded a polygraph test lied through my teeth and passed it. They don't mean jack. Side note drug test are accurate because I still went to jail. Over 22 years clean btw.

McKinney is a product of helicopter parents. I imagine he has had issues in the past and they’ve always been swept under. He has had a rough year and deserves every bit of it. Next year will be different because he will not have the way points and will not be sinking brush. There are things out there that people are not talking about. He needs to settle down and follow the rules. He “self reported” after he admitted his mom called him. His mom carries his fish and is his “manager”. It’s time for him to get off the teet and grow up.

Trey is the youngest angler in the sport who's parents support him 100%.Are you saying you don't support your children & do whatever it takes to SUPPORT them? Kids a GOD loving good kid who has more manners than YOU.
