I'm Yoruba Nigeria, even though they tried, they said all the words wrong.
Jerseys pronunciation of Bata was almost correct. At a point Alexis also pronounced apa correctly too and amis pronunciation of gbo was almost correct. The other were a bit far in pronounciatiin, but then, they did great

Ami you are doing a great job by teaching the kids Yoruba Language. It’s good to teach our kids our native languages and let them know where their root is. I do teach mine Igbo language too. Kudos

I love love these video. Jerseys pronunciation of Bata was most correct and his illustrations where d best. Alexis pronunciation of apà was spot on! Mum's pronunciation of gbó was on point . Justin and Alexis seem to guess most answers correctly. And justin seem to do well with the pronunciations better I'm really surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed this being that I'm Nigerian though not Yoruba. U guys r really doing a good job learning ur mother tongue. Cheers!

Jersey had the hardest one with "camel"! But he realized this, and did the best job possible acting it out, even though he had to give them a hint. The family would have guessed it immediately if he had been able to strap a couple of pillows to his back and then crawl in. Great job, Jersey!

Please, in Yoruba language, the alphabet letter P is pronounced kp... Example, arm is spelt apa but the pronunciation is aKPa.
Pepeye in spelling but pronounced KPeKPeye
so for certain Yoruba words, you don't actually say the letter, like APA, you're not really saying P as P, it is "KPA" so you kind of slightly sound like you're saying K with the P

It was fun....but the pronunciation is not there yet......suggestion, try to learn the alphabet first then the pronunciation will be much easy. The pronunciation is the key to Yoruba language because a word language may represent 4 or 5 different meaning.
