The Crochet Perfect Fading Shells Shawl is an easy 2-row repeat after the 6th row when the growth is established, and the repetition becomes easier to see.
The example of the crochet shawl below it’s worked from the outside of the ball to start the shawl and works to the interior of the ball. Once that runs out, the next ball is worked from the interior of the ball, going back outward.

Hello.. being less than a year young in crocheting, I have been trying out scarves primarily.. just trying to get my familiarity with crocheting.. a friend of mind sent this pattern to me saying that she found it intriguing.. watched the video a few times and then the pattern and description.. and started to make it.. loving it truly.. as you said, seemed a tad difficult when I started but then flows as I do it row after row.. trying it using three different colours and looks like a jewel to me😀.. oh and I loved your drawn pattern.. thanks a ton for this..

It seems the color I bought (passionfruit) got discontinued fairly quickly so I managed to grab a couple of cakes real cheap. but it's just been sitting here so I'm SO happy to see this today. Great instruction!!! I'm working on it now and am having no problem. This yarn reminds me somewhat of Soho Playful from Hershnerrs though this one is softer. Thanks again!!!

I have been looking for a shawl pattern to do i only have skinny cakes and cinnamon swirl cakes do you think those will work😊
How hard would it be to convert this into a blanket pattern 🤔?
Would Latte Cakes be a good substitute?
In row 8 the written instructions don't have the treble stitches like you do in the video
Looks like the written directions for Shells & Clusters is missing the definition of the Shell. The diagram shows they are done in treble. So the way Michael is stitching matches the diagram. The shells are 3 treble, chain 1, 3 treble in indicated stitch. Hope that helps
