Most beautiful movie 'theme' music i've ever heard. The introductory scenes with de Wilde down by the pond watching the approaching rider (Shane) are also beautiful.

I remember crying when I saw the last part of this movie when I was a kid... 😅 The place where Shane first appeared was a hill, and the place where he left at the end was also a hill. The memory of that image is so strong, along with this great music. I will probably never forget the afterglow of that lyrical moved as long as I live. Truly an outstanding masterpiece. 👍
