    Former psych patient here, there was this kid with us that allegedly tried to 0ff himself after planning to k1ll his friend for kissing his girlfriend. he believed (and still does) that he was a wendigo, and blitzo from Helluva boss. we were aloud to go outside, and he would rip limbs and wings from bugs. the main reason he was there was his girlfriend's best friend called the suicide hotline because he said he was going to k1ll himself, and when the police came to his house, he was trying to eat off his flesh.

    first of, im first. second, not a psychologist, but my mom lives in a appartment complex and like 2 or 3 floors above her lives an untreated schizophrenic. i see the guy sometimes roaming around and yelling at things that where not there. my mom's upstairs neighbor may have been a dealer and he is or was planning on moving because his kids where terrified because the schizophrenic sometimes spends nights yelling and screaming at nothing at all and the upstairs neighbor was scared he or his kids might get hurt.

      Dang that's a story. I've been around a schizophrenic before at a mental hospital. I was 11, and I think she was 15 or 16. She was constantly talking to herself and I remember trying to play Uno with her. She quietly, and distantly asked "Uno?" And I, being 11, decided that this girl needed to be talked to in a gentle, child calming tone, so I said "yeah, Uno," as if I was talking to a four year old. I managed to teach her how to play a little and we got a few turns in before she started to creep me out. Mind you, I was only 11, and I'd never come across someone with schizo before. She was talking to Satan or something, and I, being a very Christian-oriented child noped outta there real quick. Now that I'm older by 10 and ah alf years, I realized what she had a few years ago and felt really bad for leaving her alone like that. I still remember her name, and I hope she's doing well.
      Oh, there was also this time when I was in my room and the staff were trying to give her her meds or something, but they were scaring her. She was backing into my room with her hands held up defensively, saying "no" and "leave me alone" over and over again, and I felt so sad for her. Poor girl was terrified. I've prayed for her and I really hope she's doing much better now.

    The first one kind of sounds like me without the anger. I was in the room when my great grandmother died and just watched other people cry.

      Dang. As a VERY overly empathetic person, it's hard for me to imagine not having empathy. I have a friend who has empathy, but struggles with it, and doesn't feel it all the time. Like, when I'm upset most of the time, I just get a bland "dang that sucks" or "oof", but I know he means well, so even the words are enough to help me feel recognized. Thanks for sharing that with us in the comments, friend. I hope you're doing well, and I apologize if I ranted.

      same here my mom is a nurse so i see or hear about people dying weekly it never touched me just life cycle ended nothing unnormal here i also was tested for high iq (not as high as this guy but still in top 1-3% of population) so maybe it can be limitiation of brains with high iq that our emotional inteligence is very low

      @@TheAndostro I'm sure you've been asked this before, and I'm not intending to sound like a b, but have you been tested for psychopathy or sociopathy? (There's nothing wrong with having it, by the way. I know someone who has it and she's a great friend.)

    • @TheAndostro
      @TheAndostro Місяць тому +1

      @tabitha.shipley no i'm not a sociopath but I'm autistic so emotions are kinda different in my case I can have tears in my eyes watching animal being killed but with humans I don't care that much

      @@TheAndostro Ahhh that makes sense. I also have autism, but I'm overly emotional. If three things go wrong in a row, I'm growling in frustration with tears running down my face as I gry not to hit the walls of my apartment or throw an empty glass beer bottle at the wall or out the window. Then it'll turn into sobs of utter despair as my mind thinks of everything that went wrong in my life. Then I force myself to watch TikTok, and once I laugh, I'm bak to normal. Luckily, my friends don't think I'm insane.

    Interesting and cool vid. Also there is a syndrome called Capgras syndrome which is a rare psychological condition that causes people to believe that a loved one has been replaced by an imposter.

      Yeah there's a story in this video about that. OP was talking about a woman who called them up and wanted them to fly out to her because she believed her husband was replaced by an imposter, and she wanted OP to confirm.

      They can also be super tall. I'm talkin like anywhere from seven to 15 or even maybe 20 feet tall. Depends on the story you listen to, and how the author describes the being.

    Bro said "wen-dee-go". It's "wen-dih-go". "Di" as in "did". Just explaining as I am an AVID wendigo and skinwalker lover lol.

      Can you give me some examples of wendigo being 17-20 feet tall? That's terrifying
