Then as the turn went on Buu's attack went from being lowered to raised because Goku wasn't applying the debuffs which you can see happen at 30:45. You had 4 Goku supers in that turn with 3 coming from the friend unit which is when you can see buu's attack be raised again

I won against kid buu the other day with double orange piccolo, so I'd say pretty good 👍 team build was: -Orange Piccolo -STR support Piccolo -AGL Gogeta EZA - PHY LR Ulthan - STR Gamma 1 - STR LR Vegito EZA
If I had to guess: the game prioritizes the bigger increase/decrease to visualize. If you already lowered the enemy’s attack once then the value of the attack lower is greatly diminished compared to Buu’s constant attack raise.
I used to be the biggest pre-revive 23rd WT Goku coper back when he first came out and i can deny it no longer 😭 even on turn one with guard he takes a lot of damage from normals, and then even after that hes not invincible when guard does proc, and he has a 50% chance to get torn apart like a turkey on thanksgiving, its sad 😔
Goku can do good in here. I took mine in and he was at 1.5 mil def next to teq ultimate gohan so he can do good, but all he does in this fight it tank normals and buff kid buu

Idk if teq wt goku atk lowering still work on kid buu but after he quad super and post revive, he only took around 137k from kid buu super. Also i got teq gohan, phy ultimate gohan and bulma that debuffing as well
stupid me didnt read the numbers on the missions and tought that to fullfill the mission we would need a whole power beyond super saiyan team but we only needed 3 which is a lot easier
