GT Bosses and GT Heroes should've never been a thing over simply GT category. No point of of splitting characters in a 55 episode series with no movies to speak of, where you already exclude smaller antagonists because "Bosses".

@@SkyeonX The difference is Fusion and Potata units link well together. GT Heroes and GT Bosses on the same team makes both much worse. You have to pray you have perfect rotations, 2 slot 1 units, and no locks and seals on the wrong unit. So basically near-perfect RNG to keep perfect rotations.

If Majin Power went from trash to top tier, I will believe in a day GT Bosses gets the same treatment.
What I found doing a run or 2 is - if you can make it out STR Kid Buu, you can win. I had to use Ghost ushers though to even get to the 2nd phase...
The issue you run into is damage. Kid Buu will pretty much heal off all damage done to him each turn, so the fight goes on for like 30 turns. Which means you run the risk of a slot 2 or slot 3 super catching your weaker units. Most of the GT Bosses can tank Kid buu's normals pretty easily so long as hes debuffed - even built up, but only Omega can eat the supers.

Truth for you own sanity I recommend using items with these low tier teams
there needs to be a feature that lets you set rotations because there's nothing more infuriating getting shit rotations in an event with limited attempts

Yeah, if bosses are gonna be as tough as they're making them, this is a quality of life change dokkan needs to introduce.
They should remove limited attempts in general, nobody talks about rotations when doing events like cell max or the omega event because of unlimited events, nobody complained about it for SBR, ESBR or the LGE event, it wasn’t until red zone and the gods of destruction event where this shit became so annoying

STR Omega and PHY Omega are certainly interesting options. The issue, as it is clearly shown in this video, is that Phy Kid Buu is the ultimate gatekeeper to this event. A unit must be somewhat meta-relevant to be able to get past that phase. Sad to see, but that is the nature of power creep. I think once GT bosses gets more relevant units, this should be easier. I like how AGL Super #17 could still have relevance in the future if that happens, since his damage reduction pairs nicely with debuffing.

Every time I see GT Cell & Frieza’s animations (2:13), I get reminded and agitated at the thought of, “Where was this level of animations for LR AGL Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta? Where was this for LR PHY Sword of Hope Trunks?? STR DRAGON FIST!?!??? WHY COULDN’T HIS DRAGON FIST LOOK THIS GOOD!?!?”
Like seriously, Dev Team at Dokkan, reallocate your efforts into actual characters from major and HYPE celebrations, rather than some F2P LR that contributes nothing to the game. It’s incredibly disappointing to realize that this F2P LR has Dokkanfest-level animations, whereas characters deserving of them like AGL Blue Goku & Blue Vegeta, PHY SoH Trunks, and STR Dragon Fist SSJ3 Goku don’t. They’re all either DFE’s or Carnival units from MAJOR CELEBRATIONS… and you give TWO BUMS better animations than them… (Except AGL VB specifically, his animations are the only ones far better IMO)
And it’s not like Cell & Frieza are good either (as a matter of fact, they’re one of the two characters that lead to death the most in this video), nor do they serve a major role on a relevant team. They’re just a stinky reminder of AGL LR Omega Shenron’s wasted potential. To clarify, I’m all up for better F2P unit animations, but to this overblown degree? It jeopardizes other units, and at some point, serves no purpose considering they’re just a F2P unit. The fact is, GT Cell & Frieza’s existence proves that AT LEAST the Blue Duo and SoH Trunks could’ve had fine-tuned, higher quality animations (they were likely planned in concept before GT Cell & Frieza were), but I guess someone over at the Dev Team decided that they wanted to be an overzealous GT fan and sap the budget to these LOSERS of an LR, I guess.
It’s all just a waste of resources. Do better, Dokkan.

Welllllll anyone else thinking we might have a DBZ celebratiin where the leaders will be Z heroes and Z bosses in the 10th anni? Thats the only major teams that are missing since we now have Super and Gt leaders. I very highly doubt theyll give us a random leader before anniversary for a Z hero lead or a Z bosses lead.
Omega isn't the problem here though, it's just the team. Omega himself is stupid good for this event. GT BOSS is the issue.
That argument only works for characters that are _not_ tied to one specific type of ally from a dead team just to be "okay".
The fact that he wants GT Bosses allies to have some start of turn damage reduction (and to make his 7% damage reduction per rainbow sphere more potent), means you -at bare minimum- want 4 GT Bosses allies on the team, and of those 4, one must be EZA LR Baby and one must be EZA AGL Rilldo since they're the only two decent options.
Him *needing* fodder characters makes him part of the problem.

@@corruptedhooman3268 I doubt it's literally impossible for them to give f2p cards at least solid animations and also give the main dfe lrs actually good animations. THe main problem with Agl VB was dokkan originals have always been pretty garbage, except for like 1 animation on the entire card, Go back and look at dokkan originals throughout the game and their animations have always suffered for the main animation they focus on. Or in the case of str hit/godku their animations are just outright awful.
