One of, if not THE, most beautiful Mercedes Benz's ever created. Even this many years later, that car still looks incredible. That's a testament to the design team. And that color does look great on that car too, especially after all the impeccable detailing restorative work you did to the paint!
My favorite car...above all others. I was born in 1961 in Paris. I am still driving a Jaguar S Type British green racing, my dream car at my Level ! 😁
I think I would have spent the first hour sitting behind the wheel and dreaming.

:D always it's not about money but he is the person who never complain, but of course in same time he expecting TOP quality.
I walked around this basket almost a year in Mercedes Classic Center but never had the right car or client for it and when 300SL show up I knew that's the right car and also client.
I gave to this client few presents before (he is the person who can buy whole city if he wants) but he really like presents from me even the cost/value is nothing for him but personally means to him more. And I really love giving presents to my clients and see their reactions.

Wow!! In a previous comment, I asked for more Mercedes content and you said “just wait”. You delivered!! I believe I remember seeing this exact car about 20 years ago when Fashion Island & Fletcher Jones would host the classic Mercedes show at Fashion Island in Newport Beach - this roadster with its distinctive paint was on display with nearly 15 other 1st generation SLs. I think the last show they did there was in 2002 or so. Fantastic work! Nice gesture with the picnic basket set too.

Those unscheduled vintage rallies really are hard to predict...
:)) that not was the case. Of course he knew about the rally long time before but his Le Mans race car (Maserati) was broken in middle of the race and he needed different car immediately. Otherwise he will not do that to me :)

This is by far one of the best detailing videos I have seen even the undercarriage and tires with the right amount of sheen on them. The bucket 🪣 of oil 🛢 dipped looking tires are not so appealing. The tires should not shine better than the ceramic clear coat paint finish on a vehicle. I can appreciate this. I used to detail cars. Great job! 👍🏾

Immaculate.....i often wonder why owners of this level of classic dont use PPF after a good detail and paint correction???
I know everybody loves the gull wings but I think the convertible is a better looking car. Great job on that undercarriage wipe down. Looks spectacular.

Are the tail lights newly made? It appears that the plastic lenses have not a touch of fading or hairline crack after all these years in the sun. And the chrome surrounds spotless too.
Man, I’m disappointed we never took the hard top off!
In the 70’s my dad purchased the coup for 5k.. sold it for 7k next year... 3 years later the value was 300k plus.

A few questions/suggestions if I may...
1. If the inside was detailed maybe you could show it , including before and after.
2. In comparing the paint before and after maybe you could make it a little more obvious which is which.
3. When showing your work in general maybe you could leave the before-and-after on the screen longer so we can compare and contrast, and enjoy your skills.
4. Where are you located for those of us who are curious and maybe want to use your service?

1.Unfortunately sometimes I’m running out of the space in my phone (I’m shooting everything on my phone) so sometimes deleting or actually not shooting some stuff. In this case I have some pictures “before and after” and I thought that they are in the video... so I’m sorry I probably forgot. But I can make a post on instagram to include them.
2. I will next time 😉 some times it’s just not too obvious and I don’t see that like you because I know where to look at it... so I will do better next time 🙂
3.I will do that next time 😉, I just don’t want people be bored watching pictures and skip the video because of it.

This is a masterpiece and a milestone car to be sure- but you would think that people that can afford a car this amazing and can obviously pay anything for detailing and etc would also have enough money to actually drive them around once in a while on the street. Such a shame that all the greatest cars are trailered pretty much everywhere and never are seen out on the roads EVER.
Tip of the hat to Jay Leno for actually driving his collection.
Thanks for your comment Timothy but this client is one of those who actually driving his cars a lot (also he is very good friend of Jay) in the fact he took this car on vintage rally to Colorado during detailing process as we explain in the video, but I get your point and yes sometimes it's a shame. but in the same time I understand them because it's not something that you can go and buy so people are careful.
Some people detail their cars more times than they brush their teeth.
And behind the the 300 SL you see the Replica of the rote Sau😊😊😊
