That El Dorado game was amazing! The creativeness, macro, class of Romans vs Malay was beautiful to watch. Vivi took some bad fights, that trap mastapiece was hilarious. That 2nd game of Dravidians vs Burgundians was amazing, as well as funny from Viper. The Age of Gates by Viper in Game 2 Portuguese vs Aztecs was good to see after a long time. gg wp!
I really feel for Vivi, Sobek and Classicpro. You would think having one of those guys in your group would make it tough. Having 3 of the top 5 players in your RO24 is just brutal.
This got me thinking, would it be possible to add a feature to capture age to show where the players are looking on the minimap? Its something that I miss from other RTS games.
Spoiler I understand you make Karambits because you have your production building forward in the form of the castle, but against Romans they're the absolute last frontline unit I'd make. Everything the Romans do completely obliterate them. Just wanted numbers I guess?
Loosing that castle from vivi hurts so hard, can't get Karambits anymore, didn't pick up forced levey, can't make trebs, so now has to buy chemistry... such a big set back.
It feels like Viper just doesn't care to prep atm. His level when he comes prepped is so incredibly high, and this is not it. It's like he just doesn't add economy behind things anymore. His eco stops growing past a point, and then he peters off and gets overrun because of the lack of eco. Very strange un-viper-like behavior. OK, maybe he's trolling.
I always wonder why the pros don't hide the relics in the back of the base like us low elo players do. You'll near never loose your relics. Your enemy will just take out an empty monestary.
Because your monks have to walk further with each relic, and that adds up to a lot of missed gold, several units worth of gold. And you lose it when you collect the relics, not later when you have 140 vills mining anyway. Maybe they should move the relics further back at a later point, but in the late game they have to constantly be microing their units so there isnt a lot of time for fancy stuff like that.
game 3 i once more hate quickwalls so much. It kills so much of the game and balance. (Yes I will continiue to be a cry baby about it and yes I will still whatch your content
Viper success over the years was depending in huge % on his effluents on civ changes, in another ward he wasn't ever great player just abusing his status in the game

Platinum games have been awesome so far!
We saw a very high level Gold league and then Platinum guys show up and trap 15 karambits like it’s nothing.
To be fair that was less genius play by Viper and more just... bad pathing, bad awareness, or just plain old bad luck from Vivi.
@@Naxhus2 it *was* good awareness from Vipi though. But yeah, it was an easy trap for him in the end.

Absolutly insane series. One of those sets where you can't tell if Viper is trolling or serious, but it works out in the end.
Killing like 45 villagers in 4-5 mins is just an insane raid xD
