Thank you for the review on these. I was wondering if they would be to sweet and was on the fence on which one to order. I will order the treasure box that comes with 3-30mil sprays with both of those and intense cafe.
I think those are 20 ml bottles (if you mean the ones like I own) and I guess they don't ship to every country

For me, Vanille Absolu smells also a bit like caramel/vanilla fudge
Speaking of more grown up vanillas I have been wearing Vaniglia Del Madagascar by Farmacia SS. Annunziata dal 1561 for years. I love it. I LOVE vanilla, but I'm also a guy, so as much as I love cupcakes I don't want to smell like one. The same house has a newer Tahiti Vanilla that I'd like to try. The staying power is very good as well. This house has good quality fragrances that are often overlooked. I stumbled on them myself by chance. As far as Montale I love their Red Oud (speaking of staying power). It smells like delicious praline candies but in a grown up way if that makes any sense.
Cool! I love vanilla scents, but I wouldn’t want it to be too sweet. I have Intense Cafe, but I’m almost out. I bought Delox as a replacement, but I want a bit more vanilla. 🤔😊
Eau Duelle almost doesn’t count as a vanilla scent. I want more fun! Hehe!

I just got a sample of Vanilla Cake-OMG!!! I want to EAT it! It smells EXACTLY like vanilla cake when you first take it out of the oven and the edges are a little brown from the butter-- IT'S DELICIOUS!!! I've never smelled the other one, but I can't imagine it can top it! I'm not even a fan of vanilla fragrances, they're usually just too light , but this stuff is ADDICTIVE!😍💜💜💜

I have Vanilla Cake, haven't tried Vanille Absolu. ❤
I have both of them, but Vanilla Cake is not so sweet for me. I smell more almond than vanilla and it's a little bitter for me. I prefer Vanille Absolu

What about the lasting power of Vanilla Cake? Does the yummy vanilla ice cream scent last a long time or does it fade Quickly?
it lasts for decent period of time but not too long
@@Tommelise thank you for answering me. Last question : do you find the dry down very disappointing regarding the beautiful opening that does not a long time ? I smelled it but unfortunately did not test it on my skin. But I did love the opening.

No, not at all:) Vanille absolu is maybe more comparable to vanille fatale than vanilla cake but they are waaaaay to sweet forvanille fatale

All mancera's vanillas are good but I find it's better to test them all. There are so many different variations that it can be a little bit complicated to choose

When layering perfumes what's the best way to do it? I want to try Chocolate Greedy and Vanilla Cake but not sure how to layer them. Also do i do this on skin or and on clothes?
You can do ot on skin and on clothes but be careful cause it leave stains. If you layer it with chocolate greedy that will be an ultra sweet combo and you ll smell delicious like a candy! Don't spray on each other though better do sprays on different parts of your body
I love the smell of Vanilla, but i prefer it to be subtle in my fragrances. Btw Yana, you are looking as delicious as a slice of Vanilla Cake....Bennie, don't read this!

Favorite vanilla of all time would be probably Vanille Fatale by Tom Ford. And I really love Vanille Absolu very long lasting and pleasing
Are you talking about the Kay Ali vanilla? It smells like pure vanilla which is great. But there is absolutely no projection or lasting power on skin or clothes

So my most favorite vanilla is by Montale and it's Vanilla Absolu. Check out their Amber Musk, it's sensual and powdery. Blue Amber is very heavy oriental sweet amber for cold weather.
Also not from montale, check out Sexiest Scent On The Planet by 4160 Tuesdays and Vanille Fatale by Tom Ford.

@@Tommelise My reasoning, the sharp smells of grass and other notes are so heavy in the air that when you shower and apply Vanille Absolu, it's like a blanket of soft notes, which is so comforting.

I am thinking about it coz all I can do is blind buy… I have been researching for many reviews of Vanilla Cake. Many reviewers claim it has synthetic smell and low longevity while many love them… I am myself in love with vanilla and sweet scent. I love Chocolate Greedy and Intense Cafe as blind buy BUT Honey Aoud isn’t really my cup of tea. Now I am thinking about Vanilla Cake… oh my.. sadly they don’t have tester here and only 100ml is available…
I agree on slightly synthetic note but I like the scent it's quite different from other vanilla I have but I'd be more confident recommending Vanille Absolu
The vanilla cake smell exactly like Flan 🍮 omg it’s unbelievably sweet and delicious. I also have the sweet vanilla but it’s not nearly as sweet .
It does smell like a dessert. Isn't flan caramelly?

Not impressed with Vanille Absolu. To my nose I get vanilla body spray were the plastic from the bottle has leaked and mixed into the fragrance and it just doesn't smell all that great to me. It's not a bad smell per say. I have burned through 20% of my bottle hoping it would grow on me and it just doesn't. I don't smell any of the spices that claim to be in it. I was honestly hoping for a vanilla chai like scent with those notes. Anyway, nothing against a plastic note. I absolutely adore Montale Mukhallats strawberry doll head plastic note. But Vanille Absolu was unfortunately a bust for me. But I know I'm probably mostly alone in that opinion as people seem to really love it. Probably something is just broken with my nose. I'm hoping I have better luck with Vanilla Cake 🤞
I feel the same with many montale fragrances lol ...maybe is not for me for example blue amber a lot the people said it is sweet!! .... ( For mee is too strong and. Not sweet )
