Great video, Melanie! I have to try the vanille coco now. Who doesn’t want to smell like a tropical vacation?! My favorite fragrances are, for everyday, Lavanila vanilla coconut, and for special days, Charlotte Tilbury Scent of a Dream. I love both of these! I get compliments on the ascent of a Dream almost every time I wear it!
I already LOVEEE Vanille Extreme but I'm def trying the others you recommend. I prefer sweet food vanilla scents as well

You got me hooked on Lavanila Pure Vanilla a couple of years ago and I still use it as my mainstay. For many years, I enjoyed Coty Vanilla Musk. I like Comptoire Sud Pacific Vanille Abricot, but not Vanille Extreme so much.

I feel like I've had signature scents for different phases of my life. When I was in my early 20s, it was Clinique Happy Heart, late 20s Kat Von D Sinner, Early 30s Miss Dior, Mid 30s Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon, Late 30s...still trying to figure it out!! I just purchased Nest Black Tulip because I tested the roller ball in-store at Sephora and loved it, but now that I have the full-size at home, I'm not sure it's right for me. It's a gorgeous scent, but I'm not sure it fits me. *sigh* I guess I'll just keep trying until I find "the one". Thanks for a great video, as always!

I would like to see a big Bath and Body Works Christmas scents haul and review from you. Will you be doing one? They have so many Christmas/Winter scents out.
I am likely not going to be purchasing any more candles from BBW for the remainder of the season. I am kind of stocked on what I need and I don't feel there is anything that is a must have for me personally. I am also not super impressed with the burn of a lot of the candles still either :(

is the vanille abricot or extreme better? i’ve only ever had abricot and vanilla is my go to sent in general - which would be better, do you think? for everyday wear?

So hard to choose between those two. For everyday I would say Vanilla Abricot. It's light, fruity and fun. Extreme is like a yummy warm comforting vanilla cake type scent. Perhaps better for a date night? Although I rock them all during the day lol. Sometimes I even mix them.

👍 somehow not shocked that you loved fragrance in high school!😁 And I absolutely love vanilla fragrances so this is a very welcome video. I love Shalimar in winter. Bulgaria Rose Essentielle in summer. L’Heure Bleau or Mitsouko in spring & fall. I’m all out of Shalimar which is very gourmand vanilla so that first one -the Vanilla Absolue by Montale looks great. I like the container- light blocking.

I just don’t get how it’s so cheap & how they get them when they’re not an authorized seller. If you could clear it up I’ve been SOOOOO CLOSE to order a bunch of times but am scared of getting ripped off.
I have ordered before and gotten the authentic fragrance I ordered. Overstock is usually the reason most fragrances end up there I think. When I was in NYC last week I went to Bloomingdales and compared my Montale Vanille Absolu in store with theirs. Since I have not purchased Montale before I wanted to know what to look for, and sniff out their other amazing scents ;) Everything looked exactly the same, including the sticker on the bottom of the bottle. The scent was exact. It's legit. In some cases companies change packaging as well, in which case older packaging is sold off at a discount. I would be more concerned about buying fragrance from Ebay.

Hi! All of our products are 100% authentic, new and fresh. We have been selling online since 1997 and we sell only 100% authentic brand name products. We get all of our products from the same manufacturers that the department stores do and the brands themselves do. The reason we are able to sell at such a low price is because we are exclusively an online retailer with no physical stores (except our two shops in NY) so we do not have any of the expensive costs associated with storefronts. For that reason we do not have to mark up our prices sky high the way that the department stores do, and we are able to offer great discounts for our customers! If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we do have a 30 day return policy.
What I don't like about Montale perfumes is the packaging. So cheap and tacky. Like a $1 deodorant.
The packaging is less than ideal in terms of aesthetics.
