How To Set Up Your Mountain Bike Gears

The adjustment of the bicycle gear change consists in limiting the maximum excursion of the derailleur (the mechanism that allows the chain to jump from one gear to another) by acting on the limit switch screws on the mechanism. This adjustment prevents the chain from coming out of the gears.
To synchronize the control lever and the front derailleur, it is sufficient to act on the cable turnbuckle.
