T.O. was the best player on the field in that SB. He was a man among boys & Reid blew it. McNabb said things in the huddle but he was the leader & if Warren Moon or Aikman said the same it would’ve been fine. Sorry but T.O.’s off field antics did hurt that team because he dragged ppl into his contract dispute to get out of Philly. Same as AB w/Steelers-same agent. Still love to watch clips of both play.
so will not ever having a QB take u to 5 championships ever again for as long as you live that goes for your children and their children and their children as well. Don't worry once every 50 years u might win the SB though, just get used to a lot of seasons where u dont win a playoff game as what just happened.
Lord Zedd I’m never denied his greatness, I’m speaking on his ego which cost us those championships. Plus we already won a title 2 years ago (something McNabb never did).
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, again u might win SB once every 50 years hey maybe even 25. But expect a lot of shitty seasons in between, no one gunna take us to 5 titles in 10 years ever again. Maybe that's ok with u, to each their own. Anyway I met Donovan, great guy, very humble and intelligent.
It's like Shaq and Kobe Egos. Both wew talented and tough. TO delivered on a bad ankle. However I remember Donovan threw like 4 touchdowns on a broken foot.

It's sad that McNabb and TO, 2 professionals, couldn't out their egos aside for the greater good of winning. As an Eagles fan, this WHAT IF will always hurt most.
McNabb could be petty but I honestly think he was underappreciated. Besides the short time with TO he never really had too many offensive weapons. His best receivers were running backs for majority of his career. The fact that philly seemed to hate him after all the playoff wins and seem to love Randell Cunningham who did diddly shit come playoff time is beyond me. The toxic fan base of Philadelphia is more to blame than anyone.
You know how to keep a team together amidst drama? Be a leader. McNabb was a solid quarterback, but his leadership skills look shakier as each year passes.
Idk why people would be upset at TO for doing everything he did at the house that day. Like the media came up to his house he didn't ask the media to come lol
McNabb so garbage bruh. He still deflecting blame on everybody without taking accountability for his own faults. Bruh you failed in the NFC Championship game three years in a row before T.O. arrived but he broke up the team. Bruh you wasted a four year SB window and once the window closes it closes but it’s on him. Oh ok
Alot of fans in philly will never forgive mcnabb for being a "damn company man" and not going to bat for T.O when he wanted that new contract..T.O was all world that season the eagles went to SB & deserved that raise
As an eagles fan, I love both Donovan and TO but they both acted like children. If these 2 stayed together for years they would’ve definitely made a few more Super Bowls and win atleast 1.
How can one man breakup a 53 man roster 😕 and I like Donavan Mcnabb but he wrong for blaming T.O how about those interceptions you threw u gonna blame T.O for that too (smh)
Fat Boy is buggin. “There’s no need for me to dust off anything from the past...” literally 7 seconds after dusting stuff off from the past. SmH. The REAL story is that Donovan wanted to be the King of Philly... but A.I. was King, Donovan got booed at the Draft, and got blamed for every big loss. He was a really good QB, but his work ethic was trash, and he shrunk in big moments. I’m FROM here, so I remember the entire Era. The fans never loved McNabb, but it was more about his personality than his ability. The greater Philadelphia Area is a gritty, blue collar place with big balls and an attitude. Donovan was known as a Company Man that would get along to go along and routinely side with management whether good or bad/ right or wrong. By the time T.O. got there, A.I. was on his way out of Philly, so the title of King of the City was up for grabs. And when T.O. arrived, he was IMMEDIATELY placed into the role of temporary King just based on reputation. Then the very first play of the very first Home Game (vs the Ravens in the Preseason), he solidified that spot as the reigning King of the City... and received all the love, adoration, and credit that McNabb pretended not to care about but desperately wanted. His thing was, he was winning the Division and going to the Conference Championship every year before Owens arrived, AND Owens’s success was a direct result of HIS work. Owens couldn’t catch passes and TDs without 5 throwing him the ball. So Owens AND the fans needed to acknowledge that in 5’s mind. And THAT’S the origin, foundation, and root of the problem. Envy. But what 5 didn’t understand was that Philly didn’t elevate or elect its Kings solely or even primarily because of anything on the field/court. Great play is essential, yes. But more important was that its King had to embody the attitude of the City. A.I. was a blue collar, underdog who was smaller than everyone but had no fear. And he was a rebel by nature who could not be controlled! By being true to himself no matter what, he actually changed the Game instead of letting the game change him. Same with T.O. He stayed true to himself despite opposition or being negatively portrayed. Donovan didn’t have that dog in him. He had more of a “Yessuh, Massa,” kinda thing happening. And he sided with Management over his comrades and even his own interests at times. Philly doesn’t respect booti-lickers... period. And that’s the real story. Donovan wanted the love from the most passionate fan base in sports but couldn’t have it... Then had to watch the guy he helped bring there get it INSTANTLY. And he’ll SAY that didn’t and doesn’t matter to him... and say it loudly. But you know what speaks even MORE loudly than that??? Actions. His actions spoke volumes. We all in resentment when we see it. And his attitude was, “Oh, so you not only get the love that I want and now not only want the money, but you actually want ME to speak up to help you get it?! Nah, I’m good. That’s not my business.”
Bro McNabb's is a g , you cant count out what he did for us as fans and the organization Same thing with T.O he a g and they both should be loved not always talking about this damn feud We lost the superbowl owell Both still hall of Famers If you a true Eagles fan then you dont care and respect both of them

T.o was hurt and was the best player in the super bowl!!!💯🙌🏽 and why is Mcnabb throw up 🤢 king any giving Sunday still talking about this... both of their careers are over!!!!!
They should’ve Paid T.O and checked Mcnabb too!!!
That's right. The relationship soured ever since
Yuppppppppp most forget about this
FACTZ!!!!
I dont understand how people make TO out to be a victim. He was here for 1 year, going into 05 he blew up this entire organization. They would have never been anything, if they never had Donovan. The man was an amazing Qb who carried that team for a decade on his back.
Never realized how much McNabb and the singer Tank favor each other
"I'm still about to dig into your back a lil bit"

Next sentence was “I’m from Chicago we like to “get down” ya know? 😂😂
😭😭😭 suspect Asf
Interviewer should've said cut or interview over
Yo I’m like no one heard that ? 😂
Word😂😂😂😂
Him saying he was trying to be perfect in the Superbowl makes me wonder if he was out drinking the night before like people say. Like the pressure of the Superbowl might have got to him.
MCNABB hated TO getting attention!!
McNabb is the one who Broke up the team. Not T.O McNabb literally started it by cursing out T.O when he was trying to calm him down during a bad game. So damn arrogant. Wish T.O played with us in the Carson Wentz era, We would be getting rings left and right.
You mean to tell me a grown mad got upset because his teammate told him to STFU? That happens all the time. You just keep it moving. TO went to a more talented Dallas Team and still didn't win. Y'all weren't winning anything with him.
@@MikeBNumba6 You dont tell a grown man to shut the fuck up and fuck off infront of his brothers like that and expect him to not be upset. T.O has always been an emotional player and he legitimately cared for the people he played with.
@@phattorangecatto you don't throw your teammate and brother under the bus to the national media after losing a game. Which is what TO did.
Different games. TO chasing McNabb on the sideline was in Pittsburgh. The team patched it up the next week when they obliterated Dallas. It was two weeks later that TO says the tensions started because McNabb missed him open, TO wouldn't leave it be in the huddle, and McNabb told him to STFU.
@@ZhangtheGreat thanks for the extra context. Its like people don't even bother asking what made McNabb tell TO to STFU.
Jeff Garcia sat there and took TO's verbal abuse. McNabb didn't.
My guy McNabb yeah you choked in the superbowl but still respect
How did he choke?
If TO was healthy there is no way the Eagles lose that super bowl to the patriots TO would have ripped that defense apart!!
Donovan also didn't step up and support T.O. wanting a new contract like he did for Brian Westbrook. Some say his resentment started because Eagles fans liked T.O. a lot more than Donovan.
He was to busy stirring up shit telling teammates look at this fool on t.v instead of focusing on getting better
Wtf is this bs. T.O. was sent home and the media went to HIS home in HIS driveway. Donavan made the shit seem like Owens was just being wild to the media.
To was a entertainer but mcnabb arrogant dropped the ball with inconsistency
everytime he played 16 games but 1 season we made playoff, 5 championships in 10 years and 6 pro bowls, two time nfl mvp runner up but wasn't consistent lol yea ok
@@lordzedd3297 Still couldn’t bring home the Lombardi, which is the ultimate goal.
All those other accolades don’t mean anything if you can’t bring home the big one
What did TO bring
Idc what drama they had the two players were lit back then 🦅🦅🦅🦅
NO SIR!!! McNabb's jealousy of T.O. broke up the Eagles! He didn't like the fact that T.O. was stealing his spotlight! He stopped throwing T.O. the ball the year after the Super Bowl! Just like with Vick. He was envious of Vick when he got to Philly too!
He brought Vick to Philly?
T.O. was the best player on the field in that SB.
As an eagles fan McNabb honestly makes me sick
so will not ever having a QB take u to 5 championships ever again for as long as you live that goes for your children and their children and their children as well.
He had TRASH wrs for yrs and still won us the NFC. Imagine if it was Larry Fitz who came instead of T.O.?
@@qgreen856 Doesn’t mean squat since he still didn’t win the big one.
"About to Dig into your back" - McNabb
Pause!
This dude is a great host! Never makes it about himself, just let’s his guests speak.
Awwww hell nah. Mcnabb was just hating because TO was stealing all the spotlight
I don’t understand why you guys just release 5 min. Release the whole interview!
UA-cam shows people are more likely to watch shorter videos. You may want a 2 hour video but the vast majority wont watch it
@@brettt141 they should do both
All jokes aside.... T.O. and Donovan gone have to get they 5 minutes in at this point.
I can’t be the only one who looks forward to these stories.
I'm sorry, but how soft (not Dawkins, he is the greatest) was that team, that single player broke them???
The team didn’t break it was just two dudes who didn’t like each other( unfortunately they were key pieces)
@@lucasborja3797 not true. Hugh douglas punched t.o in the locker room.
It's like Shaq and Kobe Egos. Both wew talented and tough. TO delivered on a bad ankle. However I remember Donovan threw like 4 touchdowns on a broken foot.
I don't trust McNabb every player for New England seen him throwing up
super fire show man I’m so glad BR re-upped for a second season
TO had 14 Tds that year bruh .... if he was 100% that SB might have turned out differently ....
Also, he mentioned those picks in the SB ... he failed to mention they were picked by Teddy Bruschi .... Teddy Bruschi .....
So none of this was your fault huh?
He's only a team leader. Why should he take responsibility for anything?
I totally feel you on this one.
People crying about this???? Omg yaw skin is so thin. He gave it perfectly how a Real O.G would say. We Love you Don you always are a Stand Up Guy. You not petty like everyone around the League tries to portray you. All you did was answer the questions. Royal Salute.
I used to love him in high school but I don’t think he all that
Andy Reid is back in the Super Bowl! Andy also suspended TO for conduct detrimental to the team, he didn't suspend Donovan. Blame who u want but it's pretty clear Andy blamed TO!
Man I remember that game that year! I miss the Andy Reid Donavan McNabb Eagles! T.O fucked us over acting like a bitch! Wore my number 5 jersey Proudly!
This proves what t.o. Said was right
No your lack of dedication to winning and being the best lead to the eagles failure. T.O. Made Mcnabb look like a million bucks.
How one dude break up a whole team just because he was doin his own thing ? If y’all both grown men it wouldn’t have mattered, sound like it was a lot of hating in that locker room
McNabb look like he played linebacker
Just found this channel, great content.
“I’m a grown man. I handle grown man business”
You can’t say you’re grown if you still have beef with the same person for nearly two decades.
McNabb always reminded me of Steamin Willie Beamen in Any Given Sunday.
But Willie delivered
Bro this is my favourite series on UA-cam!
Seems like even Eagles fans didn’t agree with McNabb why what he do
Eagles fans arn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
If one player can take apart your team, your organization was weak af.
It's sad that McNabb and TO, 2 professionals, couldn't out their egos aside for the greater good of winning. As an Eagles fan, this WHAT IF will always hurt most.
Add to the fact of how different things would’ve went if they at least got one title during that period
I only hate Lebron because of many bronsexuals. At least I respect Lebron as a player. Donavan McFraud i have no respect for what so ever.
Everyone hating on him but he does bring up a fair point for the training camp distraction
I’m tired of Mcnabb talking as if his attitude wasn’t an issue. & T.O. Balled out on a broken leg and Andy Reid basically gavw the super bowl up !
You know how to keep a team together amidst drama? Be a leader. McNabb was a solid quarterback, but his leadership skills look shakier as each year passes.
1:44 Lol I thought it was Jamarcus Russell and Vince Young
What a douche
Idk why people would be upset at TO for doing everything he did at the house that day. Like the media came up to his house he didn't ask the media to come lol
Aye 🤙🏾
McNabb you threw up at the end of the super bowl and couldn’t finish when Owens had a broke ankle and still had over 100 yards and a touchdown.
McNabb threw 4 tds on a broken ankle.. your point?
McNabb so garbage bruh. He still deflecting blame on everybody without taking accountability for his own faults. Bruh you failed in the NFC Championship game three years in a row before T.O. arrived but he broke up the team. Bruh you wasted a four year SB window and once the window closes it closes but it’s on him. Oh ok
these were the guys that got me into NFL content
grew up watching him
Alot of fans in philly will never forgive mcnabb for being a "damn company man" and not going to bat for T.O when he wanted that new contract..T.O was all world that season the eagles went to SB & deserved that raise
T o was getting the spotlight donovan didn't like that he began to become jealous of him
I see him actually not putting the blame on anyone but only stating facts
Dude had like 4 turnovers the whole game lol .
Bro McNabb's is a g , you cant count out what he did for us as fans and the organization
Same thing with T.O he a g and they both should be loved not always talking about this damn feud
We lost the superbowl owell
Both still hall of Famers
If you a true Eagles fan then you dont care and respect both of them
This TO and Mcnabb thing will never die. Glad there’s still beef after all these years
I'd love to see Shaun Alexander on this talking about the 04 Seahawk run to super 40
05 Seahawks
Sad to throw TO under the bus years later.
These guys ought to talk about the many games they won more instead of the few that got away.
I blame Mcnabb, TO, Howie, Andy and Joe Banner. This dude dry snitching on Dawk and Trott smh.
Just say i don't mess with him.. & that's what it is..
Ever since this dude retired he’s done nothing but run his mouth but spent his whole career on hush mode
this why I never liked him
Why ?
I'm sure he tosses in his sleep worrying about you liking him.
T. O. did sit ups and ordered pizza?! Locker room cancer!
fought coaches and players, threw teammates under the bus. He did much more then the sit ups in the driveway
MikeBNumba6 he also turned the eagles from bums to sb hopefuls, shush up bum
I just wish both guys handled it better than how it went if they did the Eagles would have a superbowl already and both guys would have rings but egos got in the way smh
Mcnabb was a choke artist. Should be the title
When anybody say "I'm a Grown man" there next line is too validate there reasoning. Being grown ain't got nothing to do with anything except death lol... Your closer to it (age wise)
He talking about distractions but in the Super Bowl TO balled out
Where is the full interview like im tired of these 5 mins good stories and the bum ass stories get 20 mins
Almost every player who played with TO said he was one of the best teammates
Y r all the interviews so short?? Make em a lil longer
Both McNabb and TO are at fault but I do think McNabb was a little jealous of TO’s spotlight. Such a shame since they were a deadly combo
Everyone saying he was jealous but what would he do that showed this? I was a kid at the time so idk😅
myles I was too bruh I wasn’t even in grade school. Freddie Mitchell said mcnabb wanted the spotlight and also look at how the fans were when mcnabb was drafted. And look at how much they loved and embraced T.O.
