Even with the right technique and
assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. Ramsey bases investment around history, and nothing around future prospects. Which means he's going for reliability and could miss out in future opportunities.
He has said it was a "good idea" for years (look back in 2017) because it's based on math, etc... but he can't openly say to all his listeners to "buy it" without knowing their individual financial situations. He would be a hypocrite if he did.

02:56 if you watch/listen to enough Dave Ramsey you will pick up on all of the nuggets to support the 'diagnosis' of PTSD. Dave's entire thesis on money stems from his incredible losses in his 20s. I'm not saying its bad advice, but it is clear where his risk-aversion comes from.
The general consensus in the Cryptocurrency Community is this: Do NOT risk more than you are willing to lose! If you can't afford to lose it then you should stay away from it because it IS highly speculative.
Which is exactly why I like investing in good stocks.

Buy the dip honestly it’s for fun if you have your IRA and 401k in order I see nothing wrong with it otherwise I’d spend it on car parts.
Unfortunately a 401k is no longer going to even keep up with inflation. Buy and hold HARD asssets. Keep enough money to pay your bills and everything else put into something that appreciates. Thats the only way to get financial freedom in todays world.

I think putting moderate percentages of your total investment spend is ok as long as it’s not a large amount of total portfolio.

Before you invest any money in anything, you have to be honest about what you really want to see happen. If you believe, & have research to back up the idea cryptos will increase in value over the long term (like 10 years or more) then go ahead and invest only what you can afford to lose completely. If you think, with or without research, that an asset will increase in value significantly in the next two years or less, you are just gambling and you need to stay away - whether it's cryptos, stock, real estate, anything. Speculation is speculation. Only once you can say that you are not speculating - once you've evaluated yourself first - only then can you start evaluating the asset.

When I do the maths and compare various investments I keep coming back to the best return over time with little risk is paying the mortgage off ASAP.
If your mortgage interest rate is less than inflation then your better off investing the money now and pay the loan with devalued dollars later.
Every investments whether real estate, stocks or bonds are all volatile or hostile. But be ready to lose or gain. So the best bet is to invest in all sort of investment and be patient
