Wanda heard Billy and Tommy's voices right at the time where the multiverse started branching out. Multiverse of madness, no way home, Quantumania. When Loki saw that Kang statue in that different timeline....it gave me chills! Phase 4 is about to bring us to our knees. Dr.Strange like....I'M TIRED OF Y'ALL.

(IMMORTUS) was the one who controlled the TVA. It was his vision to protect the sacred TIMELINE from danger. He explained it to Loki and Sylvie but they failed to understand.Loki eventually realized at the end but Sylvie vowed to kill him (Immortus). Then the multiverse started. SYLVIE PAVED THE WAY FOR KANG THE CONQUEROR.
I hope all the versions show up. Rama-Tut. The Scarlet Centurion. Iron Lad. Etc.
@@necrona My theory is that wasn't the good version... that was just an older version of Kang of the Conqueror, who became Immortus and regrets his decision. He just deceived and orchestrated these events... to return back to his younger self. Biggest clue for me? Why did "he" send coordinates to Ravonna Renslayer? We don't know if this version was Immortus for sure but his costume sure does look similar to the comic book Immortus...
@@jdl7029 I can't see my original comment anymore for some reason, and i don't remember what I wrote (it was deleted?), but for me, the Ravonna thing was just as shady... she is hard set on upholding the TVA just as it is (nearly fanatic about it), so whatever he did, he did it to make sure she will fight to keep the TVA. At this point they are not together, she doesn't know him and he never was interested enough to contact her directly so he had no reason to show her the truth and the error of her ways. She looks more like the perfect/loyal soldier to use for whatever he needs done to ensure he will indeed end up right back at the Citadel and the TVA will keep existing. Had he chosen anyone else, I would have assumed he regretted his decision but with her, not so much. IMO he just got bored...
Another clue for me is that she didn't receive the information she wanted, just the information he wanted to give her to send her on a certain path he chose for her... he is simply manipulating her.

Less seemed like she knew she fucked up, and more seemed like she realized his death didn't fix anything.
She didn't feel better. She didn't get her life back. She didn't get any satisfaction. She spent her whole life trying to take down the Timekeepers and she finally did it and she had nothing to show for it. She was still the same person with the same history and his death was empty and hollow.

People are talking about dr strange and spider man, but i aint hearing anything about the Eternals. Now we know their reason for coming out of hiding.
Eternals are an unknown at the moment (despite how they can factor into getting older characters to come back) and feel like they will take place in their own storyline separate from the other established characters. The fallout of this finale is going to be continued in Doctor Strange and Spider-Man for certain now.
Phase 4, Loki tries to rally all the heroes to fight Kang and restore the timeline; nobody believes him XD

I knew this couldn't be the villian Kang. This guy was too cheery and nice, Kang the Conquerer is ruthless and has a God complex. Kang is gonna be so awesome to see, he might show up in Doctor Strange. And it would make sense if Wanda heard her kids the same time Slyvie killed the good Kang.

I think Loki and Sylvie having opposing plans is what caused the branches to appear
It's an infinite amount of branches over every moment of time. It isn't just a moment or two of them having differing paths at the end of time.
I feel they handled the Loki/Sylvie kiss very well; Sylvie initiates, but doesn't make clear how she's actually feeling, as Loki is the one giving the big emotional speech.
Depending on whether you're onboard with the craziness of their quasi-selfcest, you could read the scene as either _"She loves Loki, but sent him away for his own safety"_ or _"She kissed Loki to distract him, so she could grab Kang's device and open a portal."_
I think is the first one, because if she doesn't care for him then she would kill him

I think since the timelime was already branching, Slyvie accidentally sent Loki to a TVA in another timenline.
It's only one TVA. Having TVAs in each timeline makes zero sense when they are a multiversal organization.

It just breaks my heart seeing our loki getting so much better , loved sylvie still not getting trusted by her and then mobius not recognizing him and my oh my this was a great of introducing the multiverse what a finale, but you know sylvie could have enchanted and know everything about him that if he is telling the truth or not and this variant of kang is immortus who has a feeling of resentment for everything he has done . Also when rovanna said in search of free will she means that she is gonna look for kang as she said the only person who gets free will is he who is in charge.The true variant of kang will come in ant man quantam mania and when we see the statue of kang that is the comic accurate suit of him and when mobius said 63 branches I guess now there are 63 branches and increasing within the tva and there are maybe 63 variants of everyone within the tva presently. Loki can be in the same timeline but this tva is ruled by kang the conqueror. I could be wrong but this also puts out the fact that how tobey's and andrew's spider-man will be in no way home while the villains returning. Wow what a finale this moment has a bigger impact than endgame.

I think I read or heard somewhere that the next phases of Marvel will be more condensed. So, Kang could be the main villain without it taking a decade to set up.
@Eli global maybe. I think they might just set up multiple villains and deal with them one by one. Since Kang will be around, but surely Dr Doom or Galactus are somewhere around the corner if the Fantastic Four are coming.

Michael Waldron is the creator and writer of the Loki show and he is also writing Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Thats makes me even more exited for the Doctor Strange movie after watching Loki 😁
This series rekindled my interest in the MCU. After endgame i was a bit done but LOKI was a nice way of getting us all back into it and setting up what is to come. If they can keep this up the MCU could have another 10+ years of epic fun in store and i am here for it.

Sylvie ended up sending Loki to a different timeline, I think. Even I'm stressed out! I can't imagine how season 2 is going to start and play out since Kang is the villain for Quantumania, so where would season 2 even come in?
Yes it’s just a different timeline. Season 2 basically will start exactly where we left off. Loki will have to find a way to get to a specific place and point in time to try and fix certain events that have happened or will/should happen. Basically Loki actually becomes an agent, which is what this Kang variant originally wanted. So they never really had a choice. That was the point of the whole episode “choice vs free will”.

@@daedalus3726 the TVA exists in a pocket dimension where time flows differently. So yes the TVA exists outside of space but not necessarily outside of time. The only place where time does not pass is at the end of time (The Citadel). It is impossible for it to not be a different timeline or reality because it must be one or the other because things changed at the TVA. (Either time passed or it’s a different universe where things are different at the same point in time where the TVA is located).
In my opinion, it must be a different timeline simply because of where Sylvie killed Kang/Immortus. Her doing it where she did, removed all of the actions Kang did on their SPECIFIC timeline (the sacred timeline) because all of his actions occurred before where they currently were. You can’t/shouldn’t be able to create a new nexus event at the end of time because there is nothing to divert from going forward. But you can erase a timeline from the end of time. And because this whole show has been about time and different variants of characters (who are only variants because of how things happened in their own timeline) then Loki is simply on an alternative timeline where he never met anyone in the TVA and a different Kang established what the mission is.

I feel like if it was a different timeline mobius would of still know who loki is, not personally, but still able to recognize who he is since they are suppose to know everything. Also i think its a different universe where they follow "he who remains" himself instead of the "time keepers" which is why they have his statue.
@@freshsodaa7023 it is possible that it’s a different universe. Mobius not knowing Loki would simply be because Mobius never met Loki on the timeline that he’s currently on. If it’s a different universe then of course Möbius never met Loki also. So it can be seen either way.

The best way to think of how Kang the Conquerer works just think of Rick Sanchez .
Every version of Kang learns how to travel through the Multiverses, like how every Rick created a Portal Gun then made the Citadel of Ricks.
I have a theory. So Loki was tempadded back to the TVA using Kang’s tempad by Sylvie (i think there’s a reason why there was a camera shot focusing on it a lot when Kang was sitting down showing them this). We have a shot of Mobius and B-15 looking at their computer screen and seeing all the chaos from the branching of the timelines and they both say “For all time, always”. We then go to Loki and he goes to the library and finds both B-15 and Mobius there discussing about the chaos and they both don’t recognize Loki. Doesn’t this imply that Kang’s tempad connected to this different universe of the TVA (which is why there are statues of him) and also why Mobius and B-15 were in different locations when Loki found them.
It could also just be that time was altered around the TVA (but since there are multiple universes now, i beg to differ). There must be different TVAs in each universe

I love how all of Phase 4 was announced and as we fans we were all speculating, but now that this has happened it kind of serves as an explanation or justification for why certain things are about to happen (ie. Eternals not stepping in until now).
The Multiverse is likely to be a vital part of every single Marvel movie going forward and we don’t even know it.

People here seem to misunderstand, they think who we saw here is Kang and yaa he is Kang but he's not THE KANG,the conqueror, that's not the one we see here, this is basically like a future version of Kang who's been through the multiversal war and all that stuff, he's not the conqueror one, as he said so himself in the episode, I feel this was MCU's version of Immortus, Immortus in the comics is a future version of Kang who's lived through everything and experienced everything, that's who this to me felt like , the real Kang the Conqueror, who we're gonna see in the MCU moving forward has now been unleashed with this Variant's death and the multiversal war will begin again as it has before, the timeline has already been replaced and now THE KANG THE CONQUEROR has been unleashed and he's leader of the TVA where Loki is now.
Yes. This was basically Immortus. As Immortus was a Kang variant that killed his other variants. The “He who remains” is also a character in the comics but for the show can also be this character as a Kang variant. So you’re absolutely correct.
My headcanon is that the killing of He Who Remains has ramifications for the entire tv side of the MCU as well. Most of the shows have aligned with the MCU minus the Runaways Season 3 and AOS S6-7. Now it can be argued that those incongruent seasons are branch timelines.
