That's funny, the rings that came off are the exact ones I just lapped on my rifle 45 minutes ago. But at least the rifle wasn't a 7mm mag. My scope seemed to move all over so I could never get it adjusted. I torqued the rings to the base, lapped them, put the scope on a mirror with a good flashlight pointing at it and found that it was so many click up and right that I stopped counting before I got it back to zeroed. Finally got it on and torqued watching how you did it. Can't wait to go out and see if it holds zero and them work up a load for it.
Excellent quality workmanship and an excellent video thank you I only hope I can find a gunsmith good enough to do this job for me here in Alberta so I don’t have to buy all this lap and gear myself
Those look like $6 Simmons brand rings from Walmart. I use them on .17 HMR that’s about it 😂 Nice choice on the Backcountry rings, good stuff. Big fan of Warnes as well.
