Since watching this video Dan, I have gone off the Tucson and prefer the 3008 / 5008 - probably the 5008 would be more beneficial to my needs (I have an Alhambra remember) . I totally agree with you, the black pack makes a lot of sense and really sets off what is an incredible car. I am considering the GT Premium trim with auto, although I must say I like the petrol hybrid 225 and 300 in the 3008. Evan stationary the car looks quick and mean. I’d go for the metallic red with black pack. Then I have the colours of my favourite football team - Foggia. When I lived in Italy back in the 80’s and early 90’s I had a red Citroen BX with black trim including front and rear spoilers. It was the envy of many. Great review Dan. Stay safe and well. I wonder when or if Peugeot will mate it to plugin hybrid technology. You would probably lose the 2 seats in the third row but just imagine the performance & economy. In UK plugin hybrid 5008 not available (yet). Could you do plugin hybrid 5008 soon?
Hi, tnx for review, i an going to buy the same gt pack tomorrow - here in Slovenia is 47k without discounts which seems pretty good price. I opt for 180hp diesel - would u recommend me petrol insted? I do about 20-25k km per year and it will be only family car so it’s highway 30% town 70%. Plus i am wondering if the glass roof could get too hot in summer despite the fabric beeing closed?
Thanks for feedback 👍🙏 the glass will be not to hot in summer, it look great and I will take it. Diesel is good if you drive many km. Not sure what will happend in your country with diesel in a few years if you can still drive diesel in city. You have to take this also in consideration 👍 otherwise a great car
@@SDADanCars tnx for the quick reply🙏👍 as for the diesel - well my first choice was Tesla Y but sadly here in Slovenia you can only get model 3, they say that in the summer 21 it will be possible to buy one ( maybe when factory in Berlin will be built😎 ). Since i need new car sooner i test drove it some, almost went for Volvo but interior and built quality plus rear seats just did for me better in P5008. The only problem is - the rear is really ugly but with the black color and black option it will look a little better. Front is cool though...tomorrow i will also test drive Tesla 3 and if it thaaat much better i will sold p5008 and buy TeslaY in a year or so...so i am not worrying about banning diesel in cities here✌️

Firstly, do you know if the 5008 will be good with the 1.2L 130hp Petrol Engine? I see that with the 180hp you get max of it but I would like to know if the 130hp would be capable enough to cope with such a big SUV. Also, do you know if it is possible to add a gasoline tank to it and have both petrol and gas? As far I have seen Peugeot doesn't sell it with gas and I was wondering if you can make it work with gas as well. Lastly, I am not that familiar with automatic gearboxes, so I was trying to understand when you said that you can turn it in manual mode, it means that you can change the gears like in a traditional manual gearbox? Thank you in advance and I would be glad to receive an answer from you in whatever of these 3 questions you can. Awesome video again, congratulations!!! You really made me love this car even more! ❤️
Ioannis if you don't pull a trailer and carry heavy stuff you will be just fine with 1.2l . I recommend you to go with the bigger one. You can change the gears like a manual one from the pedals behind the steering wheel or from the stick level in the middle. It will be not same feeling or same experience as a manual one but still a good option 👍🙂

Hi Dan, Are you able to test Citroën C5 Aircross with 1.6B? I'm trying to figure out which one is better (Peugeot 5008 vs Citroën C5 Aircross). I mean which one is more comfy? I've never thought that I will consider those brands 🙃
@@SDADanCars I've checked both cars today and I'm disappointed 😞. I like more Citroen but trunk is much less spaceship than in Peugeot. Citroen did a really good job in case of interior for sure but I need space. On paper everything looks great but in person trunk looks like 500l. Peugeot is perfect in case of space but this steering wheel and interior isn't for me. BTW glove box is not aligned correctly and that sound of closing door ruined overall feeling about this car. I hope that this fails were only in that show room car and some day I will buy this Peugeot.

May I suggest the reviewer looks up the meaning of 'insane' if he wants to do reviews in English ... great review, just too many 'insanes' !! ........... Also, the whole point of a large SUV type estate car is the ability to carry large loads in the back - I would have liked to have seen a view from the back with all the seats down and to have been told the dimensions.
