I FINALLY put the finger on what I like about this channel. Its the casual aspect of you playing a competitive game. You're often telling informations for both of you + us at home, like on your opening hands, mulligans, even plays that you make. Also letting taksies backsies/tips from the opponent in your gameplay feel very nice! Normally, on other channels, they are not that much verbal about their plays or in that way because "they want to win/want to show a true Magic experience" but in the end, I love the more transparent/at home feeling that you're giving! It doesn't feel fake in any way. Continue being special! One of (if its not) my favorite 1 v 1 magic channel:)
Hey dude I really appreciate that. The reason we do it that way is so newer / less competitive players can follow along and learn or at the very least understand why we make the plays we make. I very much appreciate the kind words buddy, glad you're enjoying the content
@@neonmushroom6763 as a non modern/real 1 v 1 player (only watching gameplay, and playing pauper + draft/sealed a bit) it's as you said, very instructive/fun to hear you talk the way you do/explain stuff! Just waiting for more content to come:) And btw when did you start playing magic? (Because I could have some questions for you, if you're down for it?!)
I agree, this channel is special and quite unique, an unexpected surprise and I hope you never stop. Didn't know when you left the other channel but this has been awesome. It's true, you don't find this exactly anywhere else. Keep it up! We're eating it up
I appreciate your dedication to the channel and showing off paper modern content as someone who doesn’t play, I’m just a sneaky peeper but I love it just the same.
Shroom! The channel is just getting better and better bud. I was sad when you left the other channel, but I'm very happy to see you do content that fulfills you and makes you happy. Cheers bud. Please more snek!
Just want to say man, yall doing a good job. You guys nailed it, we love hearing the thought process behind the sideboarding, plays, mulligans etc. Even as a veteran player its just so much nicer to hear commentary and not have to be visually tuned in. It would be really cool if you guys could get to card kingdom's level of production with all the info about cards on the video itself, but i love watching you guys anyways.
I appreciate that buddy, I wish we could get card markets production quality, I'm the only editor though so it would take forever to get the vids out unfortunately Glad you like it
Thanks for the great content. I just started playing MTG and go back and forth between Dimir and Grixis for my modern deck. Definitely appreciate the information and ideas!
@neonmushroom6763 I will look into Grixis Shadow, but I think that is a difficult deck to pilot. I will for sure try out the UR Murktide next tournament! Thanks again!
Nutmeg is adorable. My older brother had a ball python for the longest time and it was always so chill being handled. Better behaved than most dogs to be honest.
I don't mean to alarm you but Max might actually be a wizard. First the Goomba coins not dealing him damage, *then* the called shot on your dice roll? Actual magic, hacking reality.
Because I only have 4 push and Raptor is low on the list of threats I'm willing to trade a push for, doesn't help that max had access to Nightmare which snowballs w raptor in grave
Also i feel like the only person who doesn't want nadu to be banned immediately. I sorta want to see what the format does. What do you think, Mr. Mushroom
I think deep analysis is a bit too cute, it's really bad without a frog. I would prefer to run something that's just good in a vacuum, like Tamiyo. Sweet games anyway, it's a tough matchup for dimir.
I am also not a huge fan of deep analysis. It can be broken with frog and murktide on the board but as you said it is sometimes just a dead card. I am also not a huge fan of tamiyo here. Tamiyo is great in UR wizzards but i prefer of just having a third subtlety and some other interaction spell.

Ohh both good choices, I personally thing grixis might be better w death shadow rn, I like ub for murk

Sneeeeeek.
Can we see the new nadu deck vs the old hogaak list before all the bans… new vs old modern content sounds fun
Perhaps, I'd have to find all the old gak cards

Yeah he's a warlock or something
I'll wear a robe next time lol
My friend plays the Mardu deck in paper, and it's so sweeeeeeet!
Deck is v fun, love nightmare in that deck
I still refuse to play mondern but these videos are slowly getting me more interested in mordern.
Hey modern might be expensive and unbalanced but its free to watch bb.
Appreciate you
Snakey spooky but decks are even spookier. Excited for jeskai energy!
That ones coming up soon bb
It's good to see you again. I follow you on the other commander channel. I'm curious to know if you updated your Yuriko decklist. 🥷🏻
Hey buddy I appreciate you but I left The Stack over a year ago and haven't played commander since.
Apologies
@@neonmushroom6763 sad u leave commander :'(
Welcome back nutmeg!
She says thank you
We love nutmeg

Yeah I actually wanna do jeskai wiz soon
OKAY JUST CLICKED AND I WAS NOT EXPECTING YOU TO BE HOLDING A GODDAMN SNAKE !🐍
edit: the shock has wore off lol. she’s very cute 💚 #welovenutneg
She's basically a tiny legless puppy. She says thank you
Max is the Maxcot not the mascot
Omg so tru
I definitely love Nutmeg

Snake! Snaake! Snaaaaaaake!
You're a snake

In 4k
I am not really sure why you took the 4 damage in game one from the raptor while having 2 pushes in your hand.
Because I only have 4 push and Raptor is low on the list of threats I'm willing to trade a push for, doesn't help that max had access to Nightmare which snowballs w raptor in grave

We'll see what happens, but I think Nadu is way too good from what I've seen thus far.
I'm open to being wrong tho

Maybe? Idk games where v close, we wound up even in games for the day.
Also the deep analysis is Yutas tech, I trust that dude

Why does the orcish bowmaster look like a dark confidant? 🤔
Tell me you didn't watch the whole video without telling me you didn't watch the whole video
@@neonmushroom6763 I mean.. You're not wrong 🥲
Had a few minutes to spare and did indeed not watch all of it
@@raoulkent lmao we didn't have enough bowmasters at the time of recording, we mentioned it in beginning
@@neonmushroom6763 ah I see, I hopped straight into the gameplay and must have missed that!
