I had an MK50 and an MK50IIH. Unfortunately, I had to sell both of them. The MK50 is the best amp I ever played, and I played a lot of great amps (Custom Audio, Friedman, Bogner, Marshall...). The Cornford was the most organic sounding and at the same time the easiest to play and most pleasing to the ear of them all.

I wish victory and other amp brand would begin to chip into the affordable market sadly these days it’s not as clear as beginners progressing through amps as you play more and get better. As budgets are so tight some experienced players can’t afford to progress there equipment

This is off topic but could you guys do a video on maintaining proper humidity levels for instruments? I see a proliferation of videos with guitars on String Swing racks in the background. Although they allow ease of availability to your instruments, is it a good thing to hang your guitars?
I’ve almost always kept my guitars on stands or on hangers once I had a music room big enough. I’ve been playing since I was 12 and I’m 64 now. I’ve never had an issue and I live in the south where the humidity is crazy. I keep the temperature in my music room at a constant temp (I have a mini-split for that room). I’ve heard people go on rants about guitars had to be kept in cases. Have you ever been to a music store and had to open up cases to look at guitars? No, of course not. I just think everyone has an opinion but some people want to force theirs on everyone else. I choose to hang mine. If you choose to store yours in cases, by all means go for it.
@@bks252 That's the exact thought process I've been using. I now live in TN and the climate is different than where I used to live. I've noticed my music room tends to be warm, so I regulate the heat. The window faces south, so I bought 2 inch blinds and keep them closed during the day. I have a hygrometer and I bought a small dehumidifier but the humidity % never got down to 40, even with it running continuously. I also wasn't having to empty it every day.
Two weeks ago, two days in a row, I was in that room playing and heard what sounded like a pebble or a bird hitting the window. Then I found, an old Stella guitar hanging on that wall, more for ornamental reasons, had started to separate at the binding. I don't want that happening to my better guitars that are hanging on a String Swing on another wall.
I called a local luthier who says he keeps his shop at the 30% range with a humidifier. When I finally found one that goes that low, I ordered it and bought another hygrometer. I just received the humidifier today. Even this hygrometer has not registered less than 50%. I'm afraid even a small humidifier will make it tropical in that room and I don't want to have to deal with moisture and mold or warping due to excessive humidity.
I'd prefer not having my instruments in cases and yes, I've noticed music stores don't do that. I cannot explain what caused that Stella guitar to start coming apart at the seams though.
Although they have the V1 and V4 options I would love to see - as someone said here in the Comments section - an affordable Victory pack (head and cab would be top notch) for the majority of us: the working class guitar players that would love to have a Victory amp ✊

I’d love to have a custom amp with the copper vc35 and the sheriff 25 in the same amp. Literally would be the perfect amp for me and I’d buy 2. Please make it happen so it can make my day and happy lol

Stupid idea to make the MK Overdrive a custom order only and with an equally ridiculous price tag. They’ve completely priced a lot of people out the market for one.
I have my two original Cornford MK50’s still and it’s still my go to amp since 2006.
Would love to buy a be modern version of the amp but the cost is ridiculous

How many of these amps will ever be used beyond 0.5 on the volume nob? If you don't play them really loud, they'll sound bad. Same applies to almost every valve amp.

Disappointed in Lee. Although there is a note about his shareholding in Victory in the description, I understood that UA-cam videos had to highlight any such interest at the start and I expected him to start doing this after all had been revealed last year.
However, good coverage of NAMM from the Andertons team, so all credit for that and a great range of products being demonstrated. Well done.

Really wish FMIC and Gibson would come back. I love NAMM but it doesn't feel complete without those two.
Apologies for respectfully disagreeing with you. The show is a shadow of what it used to be ( A trade show). Now it’s no more than a photo opp for spotty UA-cam influencers. The marketing departments in both of those companies are far too professional to get involved in what is, now, a rather seedy event. Have a good look at the footage, Have you ever seen so many scruffy individuals walking around in one place. If my marketeers suggested exhibiting there I would seriously consider sacking them.
@@cyclesgoff9768 - yeah i get it. i totally understand why FMIC and Gibson pulled out of NAMM - the business of guitar sales has changed from working with authorized dealers to big box stores and direct marketing. but from the standpoint of a fan of new music gear (not a sales exec or marketing VP) i enjoy the NAMM show. i agree it's not what it used to be back in the day, but i still look forward to it every year. likely the same reason you ended up on this anderton's vid.
