Trains in Santa Fe Springs, CA Vol .1 (2020-2021)

Hello everyone!!! We’ve just passed Thanksgiving 2024 and the wait is officially over after many months of hard work and scheduling issues, I finally put together my newest video!!! This will once again take us back around the midst of the year 2020 as well as the beginning of 2021 where I finally discovered the unique area of Los Nietos Road in Santa Fe Springs. I had seen this place with the two crossings numerous times in other videos and I had always dreamed to go see trains there one day. So it was during the summer of 2020 where we finally found the area and thus began the first of many trips to a new railfanning location for me. Similar to Fullerton, Norwalk and Commerce this area serves as part of both BNSF Railway’s San Bernardino Subdivision as well as the busy passenger rail “Surfline” route for both Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner and Los Angeles Metrolink’s commuter trains. If you’re someone like me who loves freight trains and lots of train horn action then this is definitely the place to be!!!
