sounds fun on paper but there’s a similar mod for arma 3 and it tends to result in a lot of lag due to simulating all the new separate body parts rolling around causing lag
@@Monolith69 well, the body parts doesn't need to be rigid bodies with physics, they could just be particles that flies off and just lands on the ground. Meaty parts doesn't tend to bounce around irl. :)
@@simulacrae arms and legs removed by guns and explosions tend to leave a limb laying about somewhere, but if you just wanted giblets i guess that would be doable but i think it would look silly in such a realistic game
@@Monolith69 giblets? No, an arm that is blown off won't start rolling down hills like a rock that often. They're soft and tend to stick to what they land on.
Ik there's an argument for it in milsims, but honestly personally I think it's not entirely necessary. If they did do it, it would have to fit in the game without looking goofy. Otherwise it's fine with just blood
Would love to see, that branches and foliage from the trees stay there. But the game is already pretty demanding, but who knows what Bohemia is cooking.
@@basedpilled It can be done they added terrain deformation to Arma 3 granted it looks kind of weird. As far as I know its wouldn't be that difficult to implement(the issue is making it look good)
@@command_unit7792yeah use Ukraine map for reforger as an example. The trench’s look like shit and ain’t very well placed but they work. They definitely have done more blending on the map that’s for sure
Am drinking a buckfast and irn bru for this. Cheers pal!
@@ronnytotten9292 Nice, a fruity little number with a touch of girders
I just love how good this game looks ❤
It's truly beautiful and deadly.
They kind of need to add dismemberment in this game.

next step : deformer and improved craters
Arma 4?
are those trench lines in the map or placed by GM? would be amazing to dig your own trenches!
they are in map near levie by the road that leads to the valley
Maybe Bohemia will listen to its people and with this basic destruction of environment allow us to hopefully place trenches of our own.

Arma 3 and Arma Reforger are not comparable in any way. It is not a matter of bohemia listening but rather engine limitations.
its cool, but the damage to trees is currently too excessive. Also some of the buildings going down after just 1 or 2 hits is not optimal.
This update look like it's going to be epic
Love it dude!
