When I watch ppl vidoes on how to bleach knots, why do some ppl leave bleach on for 25 minutes but some leave it on for like 8 to 10 minutes? I tried to leave it on for that long and it messed up but a professional hairstylist told me she uses the 30 developer and leaves it on for 8 minutes and comes out so natural and scalp-like.

Would neutralizing shampoo be okay as well? I’m doing this for the first time and i purchased neutralizing shampoo instead

Kenyata McMullen hey love the neutralizing shampoo wouldn’t help with the brassy tones but it will thoroughly wash all the bleach out so no chemicals will be left still processing . But as far as brassy tones I recommend getting shimmer lights purple shampoo

Why did you use 20 developer ? Idk if it’s because your dark skin , I’m light skin so do I use 40 ? Or 20 ?

JayKay Day I use 20 so that I won’t over bleach the knots by accident but it works for any skin tone
