Thanks. Pure Grey has always been my favourite colour on the Caddy so it was on the list of must haves when I was looking. Fun for an amateur detailer too as the colour responds so well to various products. Ideal test mule ;)
Now that is a very nice caddy😍 iv been looking for one a long time but the price is mental at the moment. The only thing yours needs is a sliding door rail cover but other than that it’s a beauty👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Daren. I do need to get this filmed as you are not the first to ask. It is currently off the road with major electrical gremlins so I need to get that sorted as my priority. After that I'll get something filmed so please stay tuned! Thanks again.
I don’t have a problem with stone chips at the front , I have problems with spray from the tires cutting through mud flaps and taking the paint from just above the front doors . There are two ways to go with a caddy , make it pretty or make it fast . M1 Ghost 👻. I think you go 240 hp Passasat common rail heavy , turn off emissions and then remap , get rid of commercial box go 6 speed manual . I had mine brought down to around 300 bhp to save on ripping gearbox casings mounting lungs out . ✅✅✅✅✅✅🇬🇧👍
Sounds like you’ve got a beast on your hands there. Respect. I’ve changed my mind since I filmed this re the engine. I’ll stage one remap it early next year ahead of a lot of event miles around Europe. That’ll be faster and just more driveable. Eventually…years to come…I may electrify it. Yep, really.
Thanks for watching. That’s the great thing about mods on cars…everyone has their own taste etc. I’m still not sold on the protector either in all honesty but kind of like the dials. All part of the fun I guess. Thanks again
I couldn't help but notice the aftermarket LED headlight kit fitted, You will be blinding other's as they are a reflector housing not projector housings
Thanks. I wasn't aware of that but having driven a lot at night since having it, no one has flashed me as yet. I have also had the van following me and no dazzle in my mirror. We'll see how it goes.
To be fair, fuel prices may persuade me to keep it haha. Yes, they do some pretty special things don't they. First thing to do, which I didn't actually mention in the video stupidly, is to replace the coilovers with springs. Welsh roads do coilovers no favours...nor my spine :) Thanks for watching.
@@TheCraigGroves Prosport so not high end, no. However from my research it seems that lowering springs just seem to add to the ride quality bearing in mind that these have leaf springs on the back end.
@@thegolfdiaries1123 legend, I’m contemplating rear seats if and when I get a caddy. Would be nice if removing one seat allows a large MTB to slide in… or it’s a maxi which I’m not too keen on
@@Kieranshields89 I think it would be tight but it is doable IMO. I will get the video done as soon as I can but please bear with me. Very busy week work wise and I'm away at Download Festival this weekend...so a short week. I'll do it ASAP.
Sorry just seen this for some reason. Maybe they are - I can't comment as I've not done it. As with all things in life it's supply and demand I guess...people will pay what they're willing and able to pay for what they want. If you're happy with your purchase and you think you got a good deal, then that's all that counts. I got a decent deal on mine and I'm happy with it. I tend not to discuss prices as everyone will have an opinion on it depending on their viewpoint/circumstances..I'm happy with what I paid :)
Great van but I'm not keen on how much tmg have plastered their name all over the place. Wheel caps, clocks , head rests etc. It's like your sponsored but it's cost you and not been given to you.
Check out the Caddy detailing video here ua-cam.com/video/qdymrfe-FaA/v-deo.html
Congratulations on the new purchase. The colour really suits the van especially with the wheel combination.

What a lovely Caddy, stone deflector needs to stay
Thanks. I’m agreeing with you on both counts. The protector has grown on me. Thanks for watching
I've just picked my caddy up from tmg a 2018 tailgated one really nice thing
Enjoy! Ideally I was after a tailgate version but happy with this.
The Combo was a workhorse….and kind of cool
It certainly earned its keep and never missed a beat. It was a good old van to be fair to it and I will remember it fondly.
Love watching your videos. Absolutely love the colour.
Cheers. It looks slightly different in different lights. Thanks for watching
Keep the diesel and tune it. The torque is great
Lovely van me personally only thing I would do is paint the side mouldings black other than that cool van..
Thanks. Never thought about that. Something to consider for sure. Thanks for watching. Much more coming!

I do love that van!
Thanks! I do too. When it works 😀

Nice one can’t wait 👍🏻hope the problems sorted out soon 😉

Very nice van, personally I don’t like the bonnet protection and that Speedo upgrade looks a bit pointless on a caddy.

Looks stunning buddy
Thanks. I’m really pleased with it so far. Cheers for watching
Don't use wolf'sburg I had a bad map on my caddy the power out put was terrible .. go to pendle performance
Thanks for the heads up Adam. I'll shop around. Cheers for watching
👍
Cheers for watching - appreciated
Whos doing the hyfto dipping? Nice van.
Sorry just seen this for some reason! Apologies. Not sure yet - it's a job for this Spring so will research then. Thanks for watching

@@thegolfdiaries1123 That could be two things, one the car the low or the globe ailment is fine.
Very nice van but that bonnet protector needs to go in the bin
Facts bruh
Still undecided on it to be honest. Sone days I like it, some I don’t . All subjective I guess. Thanks for watching
Take a look at Dark side Developments it may make you decide to keep the dirty diesel.

Is the lower part of the rear bumper just sprayed gloss or is it an actual trim (if so where did you buy it from)?
It's sprayed. Thanks for watching!
What size alloys do you have
19s. Cheers for watching
I fitted a head unit and it drained the battery 🔋😩
It does make you wonder why we bother with vehicles at times doesn’t it? So frustrating but we do it anyway 😉 Hie you got it sorted
From where you buy front bumper?
It came with the van so don't know I'm afraid. Thanks for watching
Do you have to put as blue in these thinking if buying one- is this a euro 6 ? Thanks
Sorry just seen this! Did you get one? Yes it’s a Euro 6 and it does need Adblue. Thanks for watching. More Caddy vids coming!
Sorry I love marmite but hate the bonnet add on but still a very nice vanm8

Velare. Thanks for watching

Indeed. I don’t notice the headrests anymore but when I take the wheels off to ceramic coat I’m replacing the caps with VW ones. Thanks for watching
