I agree with you on the tub/shower combo. I usually at least get one night of Aria thanks to myvegas at the end of all my Vegas trips just for that tub.
I've stayed in those rooms sooooo many times. First time felt so luxe, but every year after the rooms got a llittle bit more worn AND a little bit more expensive. Then they'd put me where the Cosmo's pool DJ sound permeated the room, or down by the building HVAC, or in a room that smelled like smoke. Then the Starbucks stopped allowing orders from the room tablet. Then breakfast reservations got more difficult. I basically don't even consider the Aria anymore.
That is a Japanese style bath/shower. In Japan, most hotels have the tub and shower enclosed in a room like that, but they shower sitting on a stool to wash themselves and then soak in a tub afterwards. The beauty of it is not worrying about where the water splashes and it's usually a bigger area like that. Cosmo has some if you ask for a Japanese soaking tub room. 👍
Hi Danny! Great room tour. The only similar shower and tub combo I’ve experienced was in the condo tower at Palms. The third tower. The rooms were like mini suites with a kitchen and multiple TVs. Very fancy. The tub was jetted so even fancier. I only got that room once on an AAA deal. It was like $50/night. Ni fees, it was before lockdown and ll the craziness. Still, this was a very nice room. Have fun! Joe
Aloha Danny. We are currently deciding between Aria (stayed once) or Bellagio (4 times). Same comps offered so it might be the bathroom that decided it. Mahalo!
The "Indiana Jones" stuff!! Don't move it without the traps setting off. Someone (rich) should make a video of just doing a roundhouse to those goods for our enjoyment!
Excellent Aria regular room. The Cosmopolitan has a room with a Japanese soaking tub connected to the shower. There is even a window. I think it is called the Studio City Room - just make sure the Japanese soaking tub is in the room description.
Thanks for showing the room at the Aria, now I know that thanks to that trickster refrigerator, I won't stay there. When casinos do their best to nickle and dime you it says a lot about them. I admit the tub/shower combo is nice!
The room appeared to be clean and in good shape but Aria has actually not renovated its rooms. That room is mostly the same as it was in December 2009. I don't think the design is inherently dated or anything but i'm surprised that they would let it go for that long
VIP Lounge: "We could do a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Are you looking for a suite?" DTM: "No thank you, I need the $20 for video poker." Me: "Does the suite offer a tub and shower combo?"
Excellent view of the mountains. I've heard stories about those hotel safes...$$ & items going missing without recourse. What do you think Danny or what have you experienced with regards to the room safes?..🤔
@@dannythemedic That makes me reeaaally worried! But where do you keep your cash, if not in the safe? You don't want to be walking around every day with a few thousand dollars?
The REASON you will carry cash in that amount would be to gamble, so in advance, sign up for casino markers instead of carrying cash with you in your room. you pay back the markers when you are done gambling, NO CASH!
Great feature with the tub and shower like that. Thanks for showing it!

That was a super nice bathroom. I like too that they had frosted door closing off the commode. Thanks for the tour DTM. 😊

Danny, I appreciate your room reviews especially the regular rooms. Consider doing one from Planet Hollywood & Horseshoe if possible. ✌🏿❤️👊🏿
The dark wood looks like the rooms at Vdara. Last time I was at Aria the room looked different and brighter!
Will be across the street at the Elara tomorrow.

My buddies highly recommend Aria Sky Suites but sadly this MGM property does not allow pets. Thx for sharing your room experience with us.

DTM is always thinking of us regular people. He chose a regular room with tap water to show us instead of a suite with champagne. Terrrific guys!

Nice tour but I still like park mgm hard to beat non smoking be safe!
Doesn't the Cosmopolitan Terrace One Bedroom have the tub in the shower? Too bad there's no mini fridge for personal use, they are getting rare.
I never been in that one!

My wife would clog that shower drain in no time from all the hair she sheds when washing her hair.
the visual!
I don't like the stocked fridge. I want an empty fridge so i can put my drinks and fruit in them. I guess i won't be staying at Aria
I HATE those mini bar retail baloney
