I love Elizabeth Warren, I supported her when she ran for president and now I support Joe Biden strongly. But I think that the context for this entire subject is wrong. A Maga, Trump-loving individual who had been abused his whole life took a shot at Donald Trump. Personally, knowing what I know about Donald Trump, I am not convinced that he did not have something to do with orchestrating that. I don't know it for a fact, and I'm not implying that I do, but neither am I going to act like I know for a fact it wasn't planned by the Trump campaign. It would be entirely consistent with who he is. He is Machiavellian. This is already going to be a long post, so I will not make that case here, but "The View" staff, please don't delete my comment. You hear Senator Warren. We should want to know what people think.
It is not for Democrats to tone down the rhetoric. Democrats didn't create the rhetoric. And the convention should have proven by now that the Republicans, Maga, have no intention of stepping down off of that. They don't know how. Without it they have nothing.
Donald Trump is a malignant narcissist. I don't blame anyone for being abused by a malignant narcissist because I've had it happen too many times in my life and I'm in no position to point fingers. But I eventually hit rock bottom and I'm recovering. I've recovered, at least to the point where I'm trying to learn how not to back myself into a corner with them without realizing it. It is an acquired skill and it takes a long time and my party, the Democratic Party, is moving in the wrong direction on that topic. As for political violence never being justified, it shouldn't be. It should be that we don't do things that way. We should have evolved past that point. But what if it's political violence organized by a campaign in order to improve their political standing because they're losing? Because their leader was convicted of 34 felonies? Because the Supreme Court is clearly in the bag for him? Because he is on the warpath against women in a variety of regards, not just abortion. What if it's an attack by somebody who's within your own party? That's what it was. Last, but not least while I don't like it, and I don't believe in it, Republicans, I want you to know something. I don't even own a gun. I was hoping to make it the rest of my days without owning one or using one, and certainly not shooting someone, but don't come for my family and don't come for my country or I might just change my mind. We don't require that you be just like us. It is you who required that we'd be just like you. Let go of your obsessive need to control and everybody can get along again. Doesn't represent the GOP perfectly. I'm a Republican, and I'm perfectly happy with my personal life. Don't like the high cost of food right now. Happy about abortion going back to the states. Happy Trump is leading in the polls. Not happy the Democrats turned on Biden. Not happy Biden has COVID and not happy about his mental decline. Not happy Trump was shot. Happy with Trump's choice for VP. Happy that Trump, Jr. told off Jacob Soboroff. That was funny.

And everybody knows that elderly people tend to vote Republican, so therefore, the polls tell us NOTHING about reality!
The simple fact is, the vast majority of American voters WANT abortion to be legal, and they will vote FOR IT TO BE!!
