I think tag is very lucky to have Mario .. What watch people don't know is Nintendo is huge !! Mario is big ..... I went ahead and bought this watch not for tag heuer but for Nintendo ... I will have a million Dollar watch in 20 years .. Nintendo just sold a super Mario game for over a million dollars ... What you guys don't get is that they only made 2000 watches in the whole world and only 70 in the united states .. This will be super rare .. The bezel Has mario on it so does the crown also the strap ..
@@DesignAtelier I was like only 2000 made the united states only getting 70 I got one of those so 69 lol .. Its gonna be rare in 20 years ... I plan on keeping it mint condition not going to wear it at all .. I already own a tag heuer Porsche edition watch that I love .. But the super Mario watch is very special to me ..
LE in the watch industry is a scam. Now that this watch has been a success TAG Heuer will release others. Maybe Wario will be worth 1 mil. Probably Donkey Kong.
I'm with you, this was totally unnecessary. I get it, it's easy sales given the cult like following of Nintendo and Super Mario. And I'm also all in favor of these kinds of partnerships as long as they are well executed. In my opinion, this just fails to meet the mark
Which is what someone who couldn't get one would say. Mario Kart sold over 150 million copies. There are only 2,000 of these world-wide. Sold out within 60 seconds... seems it hit some mark.

I'm actually glad you chimed in! I seriously misjudged the power of Mario and it's fans! Now we know why!

@@finddavid7 I wonder if they'll make a mechanical face for it with the Mario branding if you decided to have it changed
@@benfell7056 if they do I will buy that one also ..

And yet, it sold out within the first 60 seconds.
Life always finds a way to prove me wrong! Salamat, kabayan!
Scalpers again. They’ve turned online shopping into a real miserable experience
This is a niche watch for a very small market segment that tugs at momentary emotion.
You’ve literally described mechanical watches
@@christianreyes3140 Pretty much or anything else someone may purchase to satiate a particular passion.
Which sold out within 60 seconds and stores were begging for more.
