The backhoe looks great. Paint the bucket black. Seems like the red cylinder (Princess Auto?) has a little bit shorter stroke than the original, the dipper stick doesn't retract in as much leaving the gap between the stopper under the dipper stick and the boom, this prevents the dipper stick from folding in a little tighter when not in use.
Thanks, and yes, it's an inch shorter than it should be. Good eye! I'll try to get a proper one, but meanwhile, it works fine. Thanks again for watching.
I have 3 ford's 1520 I mow with 1920 loader and backhoe on it and my 2120 I use for everything else. Thy where cheaper than John Deere Thy cost me 18,000.00 brand new for all three 20 years ago. John Deere wanted 35,000.00 for the same three tractors 20 years ago.
You can never have too many tractors! Yes, Deere is pricey. I don't know why, but people still buy them! Thanks for the info on the bucket, and thank you very much for watching and commenting. I appreciate it.
Great video, leave it rust, have you tried copper sulfate on the algae . I have been successful with my steering column rebuild, had to remove it so went thru it.
Bucket black. Mine is. You are missing a pin for the top link. It will make the link solid, eliminating the tendency to hinge. My bucket/dipper pivot pin is frozen to the dipper. Not sure of a good course of action to fix that. I thought about heating the dipper with a rosebud to break it loose.
Thanks for the tip about the top link. I thought something was missing there. Yes, probably heating or rig up hydraulic jack to push it out forcefully. Either way, won't be pretty, lol.
Machine is coming together nicely, keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do! Thank you for watching.
Green on teh b/h bucket. You should be able to out source those o rings/seals on that control panel from a good hydraulic shop. Make tat a video.
Yes, Glenn, I'll definitely do that!
Thanks again for watching!

I'm glad you're doing it right.
Yes, I have tried it, but only cures symptoms, not the cause. It's very expensive also, but thanks for the input.
It was black from the factory.
Thanks Billy!
