20. Narrowboat Ballast & Creating Bilge Access Holes

As Alice lists due to excess weight on the port side, it's time to lift the flooring and remove the ballast from under the floor. I discover water is unable to flow to the stern so I've needed to create access holes so I can periodically inspect the bilge area under the floor for water.
