TCU was literally in the title game two years ago. Wtf is this guy talking about
The Big 12 actually has a very interesting history because it was LITERALLY born from the ashes of two deceased conferences. The Southwest Conference and the Big 8 both snuffed it following the 1995-96 season and the Big 12 was born from the remnants of those conferences. I say this to point out that conference reallotment as a concept isn't as new as some people think.
Manny is mad that UCF understands where college football has been going and is a direct threat to them as the clearcut #3 team in the state of florida.
Miami is fortunate they are in a sports town so people forget about the team unless they play fsu or uf and even that has lost its cache.
So the NCAA record books that tell you who won national championships are fake 😂,
well miami never reads books or follows the rules anyway so heres to another 20 years of mediocrity in whatever league we wind up in 😂😂😂.
Sidenote i am a UCF and UMiami alum. So i am fully aware of both teams history.
FSUs 2023 season was just the P5 version of UCFs 2018 season.
We as UCF fans knew what was about to go down (the acc hadnt been strong as a football conference for years) but yall Noles couldnt come to terms with reality and acted genuinely surprised when they left yall out of the ESPN 4 Team Invitational.
Just play in a better conference they said... until that became the ACC. In life Its never a problem until its your problem 😅.
Happy Football Season Fellas! Dont let $MU catch yall Noles slippin thinking about the SEC this season😂😂😂.
UCF has a conference championship and national championship more recently than Miami.
Rutgers Football had an overall 64 wins vs 37 losses in the several years before entering the B1G. Very respectful.
What has Clemson done the past 3 years 🤔
Good interview. The Miami-FSU rivalry was the best in the 80s through the early 2000s and should be again. After 3 years, FSU has come back under Norvell. Miami now needs to step up.
I saw an article about how bad the Big Ten wants a team from Texas, and they said Texas A&M. And it said by 2026, But makes sense because of how big the state of Texas is and the TV market. They said really bad they want a team from Texas. Expect this. I see where the Big Ten is going with this. They are going after big city markets, like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York/New Jersey, Texas, etc. huge states with big cities. The Big Ten is trying to be a multi-billion conference.
I've been saying Miami and Notre Dame end up Big 10 together. Two private schools with a rivalry fits in nice.
That’s why they both got AAU accreditation. Clemson & Karen State won’t qualify. Fifth Spot U & Clemson aren’t getting any positive results by suing the conference they are in because they didn’t get what they wanted. Not to inviting.
@@palmbeachcane9523
Fsu is suppose to be AAU accredited by 2026.
@kingbradentucky it won't be Miami with ND it will be Stanford, their rival, and ND has the cache to bring anyone they want.

WVU FAN CAN'T WAIT TILL WE GET OUR INVITE TO THE SEC.
As a life long WVU fan! This will never happen! Wished it would but it won’t!
😂
ACC Network makes $200M/annually. So the issue is the base contract. If canes, Hokies, FSU, Clemson, and UNC all live up to expectations this year (and Louisville) it likely bolsters the arguement that ESPN will opt in for the extension. If it’s true the ACC and ESPN are discussing additional resources and investment into the ACC Network, then there is a path to close the revenue gap. The payout was $45M per school this year. Canes and Hokies need to step up and re-establish that original narrative that the ACC had when they first entered. We need to change the narrative, get additional bowl money and put the ACC in better position to negotiate…that’s a lot of ifs and relies on a poor leadership team at ACC HQ
It's not the ACC network itself, it's tier 2 absorbing the remaining tier 3 inventory and then reshuffling that stock to maximize the revenue generated from the sports that already do it.
No! Opt in was supposed be done in 2021! It shouldn’t take an additional 4 years to figure out if they wanted to or in
Using FSU and Clemson to demonstrate ACC strength is non-sensible. They want out because the conference is too weak to qualify for the BCS. Thinking Miami is a valuable commodity is also ridiculous. They were good in the 80's and a few years around 2000. One ten win season in 20 years does not make them an emerging power. In recent years, they are a .500 team and are viewed as such by the rest of the country. No one out of S. Florida watches or cares. Don't know why the B12 would want them. Can't imagine they bring much market value.
FSU and Clemson want out because money difference if they have to stay to 2036. It’s about money
The thing you people not from the big ten never seem to realize is the big ten will never relegate teams out of the big ten. They may take more teams. But they aren’t ever letting teams go because of money issues. That’s not how they’re built. Money may be king. But it isn’t that great to them. Northwestern is a big ten team for as long as they want to be a big ten team. I’m telling you now. It will never happen.
Bingo. Also anyone that mentions Rutgers getting kicked out has their head up their a$$… Rutgers has brought the B1G more money through the TV contracts imaginable. Now that Rutgers is investing the $100M into sports it’s only going to get better and better. Rutgers was playing at the Patriot League level until like the late 70’s then stayed that way until the late 90’s. It hasn’t been that long frankly, but today in 2024 it’s a totally different story and things are changing in NJ.
@@XxMarosyxXNobody has to mention Rutgers. Miami and FSU happen to be in the 3rd largest state with 5 top 25 tv markets. Miami and FSU history and potential are far more attractive than Rutgers, Maryland, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon. Oh by the way, Miami and FSU are EST.
So nice to see you not bashing Miami like you have in past videos.
I still may on the FSU channel. I'll be less biased over here 😂 - thanks for watching! 🫡

I think Florida State would fit the SEC. Lowkey though
That's why the SEC wanted them back in 89.

Look at all these people trying to rag on Miami. The B10 would love to plant a flag in South Florida. Huge market, large alumni base from other B10 schools living here, historic tradition, name brand, AAU accredited, fertile recruting spot, and ideal travel destination for their fans. Keep thinking Miami won't get an invite, but do have your excuses ready when they get one.
I don't have a vote, but as a B1G alum, my dream would be ND and Miami and stopping at 20. B1G fans love traveling in the fall. No one wants to go to Death Valley or Tallahassee. Miami all day!
In a perfect world, the B1G would add Notre Dame and Miami while the SEC adds Clemson, FSU, UNC, and Virginia and both stop at 20.
Miami needs to build a stadium.
@@heartbreak25, That is understandable considering how much National attention & TV Viewership Rutgers & Maryland have brought to the Big Ten?? Outside of being aware of Rutgers being perpetually a cellar dweller in every Conference they have called home. I’ve never been to a Rutgers Sport’s Facility, so I cannot speak to their Facilities. Maryland joined the Big Ten as one of the worst run Athletic Program’s in the Nation & that has been reflected in their Football Stadium especially. Both Maryland & Rutgers generally allow easy wins for the other Big 10 school’s. I am curious, has there been substantial upgrades to their Football Stadium? TV Viewership & Stadium attendance is something’s worth looking into before simply adding schools. FSU regular season games from 2014 - 2023 TV Ratings were as high as #4 & never dropped below #8 in the Nation according to Sports Illustrated: Alabama was ranked #1, Ohio State ranked #2, Texas #3, Florida State ranked #4, and Notre Dame was #5 in TV Viewership during Regular Season’s 2014 - 2023. It matters what the B1G wants? A rubber stamp win or a B1G with more Blue Blood match up?? That is a decision that the President’s & Athletic Director ‘s will make.
@trclark7689 Agree with FSU and Clemson being SEC fits. I think NC and UVA are better B1G fits. Could see SEC taking NC State and VTech which would add 2 new states to the SEC. That would be 22 and 20 which means they both eventually end up at 24 with B1G adding 2 from (Stanford, Kansas, Arizona, ASU, Utah, GTech, Duke) and SEC adding 4 from (Texas Tech, Kansas, Louisville, Colorado, Kansas State, West Virginia)
Side note: Disagree on UM needing a stadium. They may get back the old Orange Bowl land if the Marlins relocate but the city has a 20+ year agreement left with them. Hard Rock is a world-class stadium and Miami draws a lot of fans from outside Miami-Dade so the stadiums location is great for those ticket holders in Broward, WPB and beyond.
@@DvsBen I don't believe that the B1G/SEC go to 24. I think the Big 12 will ultimately go to 24 but the B1G/SEC don't have any reason to go beyond 20 because the schools available after 20 don't add enough value.
I believe that you COULD see Stanford go to the B1G IF Notre Dame demanded it to join, but on their own without Notre Dame demanding it? Not a chance.
As far as UNC/UVA, from what I've been hearing on the multitude of forums, vlogs, articles, etc. is that UNC is leaning heavily in favor of the SEC and UVA is 100% against going to the SEC. I've also heard rumor and speculation that UNC/NC State will likely have to go as a pair, so it's possible that the SEC could add Clemson, FSU, UNC, and NC State while the B1G adds Virginia and Miami?
Re: Stadium, how many schools in the B1G, Big 12, ACC, and SEC share an NFL stadium? I don't have the information in front of me, but I believe the answer stays in the ACC with Miami and Pitt?
I'm not sure if the B1G/SEC want a school without their own on campus stadium, though I could be wrong.
2 things Miami don’t sell out stadiums and Miami doesn’t have a stadium plus every time they say the U is back they go back to embarrassing themselves again
USC and ucla don’t sell out their stadiums. Neither does Rutgers Maryland
Exactly right and none of them should be in the Big 10. It's like Vanderbilt in the SEC they shouldn't be in there but they are but they still suck.
I am not sure where the constant gaslighting is that Miami is going to be a Big ten school their years and years from even getting an invite
It's a huge market. The Big 10 could use MIami. Really not in Miams best interest to be in the same conference as the Noles. With the number of scholarships being increased, the Cane's can take more underrated south fl recruits.
Yes, it is in Miami and FSU are in the same conference. It adds another rivalry game to big10 tv partner inventory. Miami will be fine recruiting
Take FSU and Clemson out of the ACC, and the BIG12 is a FAR better conference. And they have tried to adapt while the ACC has done NOTHING to offset all the realignment going on.
Delusional if you think Miami is going to Big 10
Your delusional if you think they aren't if the ACC implodes.
Most people are delusional when it comes to their college football team they always think they are greater than they are and everyone wants them. I'm not even sure if the SEC or Big 10 ads anymore teams at this time, maybe years down the road.
Then stay in the ACC and go down with the conference.
@davidframe1613 well you know Big 10 will add ND anytime they say yes then whoever they want to go in with most likely Stanford as that's their rival and ND has enough sway to add anyone the want.

Miami & Florida St make me think of USC & UCLA. Why? 1: You have a private ( Miami) and a public school ( FSU). Just like the Trojans and Bruins. 2: You have a football power ( FSU) and one that is not ( Miami). Again like the Trojans & Bruins 3: You have a school that has its own Stadium ( FSU) and one that does not ( Miami). Trojans & Bruins once again. 3a: The school that does not ( Miami) cannot sell out games just like UCLA. 4: FSU & Miami ( like USC & UCLA) would be huge for recruiting and TV:
Really??!! Stop it with this BS!…One school has 5 Titles the other does Not( Miami)…One school plays in a State of the Arts NFL Stadium the other does Not(Miami)…One school has produced more NFL Hall of Fame players than ALL Florida schools combined…(Miami)…One school plays in a Sun kissed International City with some of Florida’s best beaches and the Night life second to none… (Miami)… One school plays in a trailer park with the Governor as their neighbor…FSU…One school lost a bowl game 63-3…FSU…One school plays in the largest media market in the state of Florida…(Miami)…Last but not least… One school has a ALL TIME winning record against the other school…(Miami)…so if you gonna tell a story tell the WHOLE story!💪🏾…Go Canes!
Sounds like a real Miami Candy Cane. Do not forget that both schools got dropped by major sponsors too. Miami by Nike and UCLA by Under Armour
@@jrjackson904So true!
Miami is cfb power like it or not! UCLA hasn’t won national title since the 50’s. Miami last title was in 01 and usc was 05.
@@SolarNole. Miami nor UCLA were ditched they got better offers for other sponsors. ie...Adidas was willing to pay Miami more and give more gear to athletes in the deal. Do some research.
Manny's not really smart, is he?
TCU beat Michigan and went to the title game year before last.
Utah is a really good school that won the Pac 12 regularly.
This guy lives in a bubble.
Yet nobody in the ACc Big 10 or ACC wants to go to the big 12!🤮
Big 12 is underrated one of those teams will win a championship within 3 years probably Utah or Arizona
@@jmath1978, that's not true. Louisville does. I'll bet you that VT would. SMU asked to go to the Big 12 first but was declined because it was below the standard.
The SEC and B1G both are making more money, so of course they wouldn't, but that goes for the ACC too.
Miami benefits sole based on their location, not their program nor their academic status. Conferences want that TV market and recruiting pool. We can envy them as having that Seminoles but those are immutable characteristics they have based on their geography.
It's quite funny to hear ACC-folk bash the B12. Lol
Miami & ND are the teams the B1G wants. Both AAU accreditated, both have lots of money to play with, both are in top 20 sports markets, both private schools with tough entrance qualifications. The B1G is building a national brand already look at the teams they're adding & the markets: Rutgers (NYC), Maryland (DC), USC/UCLA (LA), Washington (Seattle), on top of already covering Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland, etc. Adding Miami & ND 2 traditional rivals, with all of the plusses would be the perfect scenario for the B1G. fsu will be in the BigXII, where they belong. Their school is not AAU worthy, period.
I like the city of Miami and the football team. They used to be good but to say they can win the Big 12 is the craziest football statement ever. I don't even have them going 50/50 in the Big 12. If you can't win a basketball conference the ACC how you going to win the Big 12. Big 12 doesn't have any super teams which there is only a few left in the first place in college football but the big 12 doesn't have all those weak teams that the Big 10 has. Unfortunately for Miami they haven't been very good and it's a horrible time for them to play musical chairs. SEC probably thinks Miami can only beat Vanderbilt and the Big 10 probably thinks Miami can only win 4 or 5 games if Lucky in the Big 10. Miami's got to step up if they want to be in the big league and get out of the ACC.
Just imagine betting everything, all in, trusting Mario to deliver.
Big10 is not picking up Miami
It's a shame that the ACC couldn't get Notre Dame to agree to join in football full-time and give the deadweight members an ultimatum to invest in football or get cut loose from the conference. It'd then be nice to see the ACC pickup a couple more members from the West Coast to help Cal/Stanford (OSU/WSU) and poach a Texas school or two from the Big 12 to give SMU a partner, then renegotiate with ESPN.
A pipe dream, sure, but it would be nice.
As a iowa fan, give Miami, Fla state, North Carolina, Virginia Stanford and NotreDame
B10 will take ND & Stanford first if they're willing to join. Highly more likely B10 would take UNC & Virginia over Miami, FSU, or Clemson.
It's not just Florida State and Clemson. North Carolina and Virginia are also more coveted by the B1G and SEC than Miami. The ACC is the AAC at that point. Miami is not a sure bet to get an invite by one of the top two conferences.
@beccawalkup2972 UNC is more coveted than FSU and Clemson.
Big10 needs into Texas
Texas A&M is definitely in consideration…. Look for four of Colorado/Texas A&M/Kansas and UNC/UVA. ND screwed themselves and the B1G has no interest in Miami, Florida State or Clemson. The SEC I think grabs VT, NCST and Kansas State as they don’t want to added FSU, Miami or Clemson. It would be better to let those school fall off so that other schools in the B1G/SEC have even more flex recruting the state of Florida for talent.
Yes, I saw an article about how bad the Big Ten wants a team from Texas, and they said Texas A&M. And it said by 2026, But makes sense because of how big the state of Texas is and TV market. They said really bad they want a team from texas. Expect this
the Big 12 had Texas longhorns Oklahoma Nebraska many teams have won a championship out of the Big 12. They have left but it still doesn't mean they take their titles to the SEC or Big Ten and once FSU and Clemson leaves the ACC the ACC has no hopes for any title. Notre Dame can't even beat Marshall University at home.🤣😂🤣 The big 12 gets into playoffs and the undefeated FSU can't because the ACC is so watered down and a horrible football conference. If FSU or Clemson can't win out and go undefeated there's something wrong against teams like UNC Wake Forest Syracuse Boston college Pitt Georgia tech and Virginia the list goes on and on its laughable. I bet those teams I mentioned probably can't even get four wins in the Big 12 that's how embarrassing the ACC is.
Miami isn’t a big time program anymore, big 10 doesn’t want another Rutgers. They’ll either stay in the acc when fsu and Clemson leave or go to the big 12
Sadly, I think you are correct. And if they don't get better I think they will stay in the ACC.
🤡 ofcourse they are. Just because they haven’t had success lately, it doesn’t change who they are and their potential. The big 10 is going to be begging Miami to join their conference
@@Mystery_Man84The Big Ten doesn’t beg.
@@briggsofdisaster lol historically, the Big Ten conference has been big(pun intended), slow and unathletic football - constantly dominated by SEC teams and Southern teams with speed in general. You’re not the prestigious conference that you think you are.
Who in the Big Ten has a resume like Miami even though they haven’t been a Top program lately
I think the only teams that will get in the Big Ten or SEC out of ACC is FSU Clemson Notre Dame and whoever Notre Dame drags with them probably Stanford. Only way Miami ends up in the SEC or Big Ten is if Notre Dame drags them a long same way with UNC. Then after those teams there will be probably six to eight teams that will go to the big 12 and be super happy and the rest will figure something else out. Unless FSU and Clemson goes to the Big 12 also then that may change things even more for some of the ACC teams. But there is no school in the ACC that the Big 10 or SEC is begging for besides Notre Dame which Notre Dame not join a conference the conference joins Notre Dame just asked them. 😂🤣
Unc is the prize for both
Miami is going to the Big12
Lol..
I think they could end up in the Big 12 but there is a chance they play their cards wrong and end up back in the Big East. Big 12s only going to take so many teams and if you're not first in line you're probably going to the Big East or a water down ACC. Which right now an undefeated FSU can't even get in the playoffs.
@@davidframe1613 The Big East doesn't have football
Miami is a big 12 fit at Best. Not big 10 i bet Clemson gets in over Miami
Fool! Miami fits best in Big10! Also, Miami is located Florida not South Carolina. Go look at the population differences.
@@arronfrazier7873 I never said they were in South Carolina lol ... But how is Miami a fit in the Big 10 besides maybe from an academic standard standpoint? Miami hasn't been relevant in football in 23 years... They are riding on the coat tails of the 80's and 90's for the most part. FSU would give the big 10 their Florida school they don't need Miami if they take FSU
@@arronfrazier7873 also who cares about population differences? It's not like Miami actually goes to their home games anyway nor do they follow them across the country. Teams like FSU and Clemson bring in full stadiums of crowds on a weekly basis when home and do very well bringing crowds when they travel. Miami does neither. So get that week argument out of here about populations. The only time Miami fills a stadium is on CFB 25
Everyone knows where you stand you do not have to keep making videos saying the same thing plus ESPN determines what schools go where. FYI
If it was up to you all you would be in the B1G but the 10 has spoken. It makes you look desperate, and begging not a good look.

Why the B10 obsession?
People forget that Miami reached out last summer to work a deal with them and FSU to SEC and was turned down. At the time the SEC said they viewed Florida as a 2 school state.
Funny thing is that while Miami thinks they're going to the B10 or the SEC, they're not. And, if the ACC falls apart, they might not get in the B12 either because UCF might block them.
Miami is going to the B10 if the ACC implodes. UCF has no power and your silly scenario is moot, Miami is B10, B12 is where Clemson and FSU end up.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
FSU is going SEC... bank on it. Miami i'm not sure about but definitely not SEC.
There is more opposition than interest among SEC presidents in adding them. Would they grab them to prevent the BIG from getting them? Maybe.
