I want to do this LED mod. The same way you did it. The problem I am running into is seeing closely how you got everything wired up concerning the resistor. Is there a picture pack or a quick write up to help flesh it out a bit more? Maybe in a forum somewhere? a drop box?
Technically the resistor is just so your signal doesn't flash quickly. You could just install an LED bulb and have a hyper flash if you don't want to to do the resistor part. For the resistor it's rather simple it just goes in-between the stock wires, that's it. Hope this helps!
@@DrivingProduction I just decided to go with VLED system. It's expensive but I needed the Lumens since i have smoked lenses. I eventually figured out the way you did it. Thank you for the reply.
So the resistor is only for the turn signal, technically it still work without it, it would just turn on and off really fast, as if you had a burnt bulb
@@DrivingProduction thanks for the reply, I have the same white 2013 Mazda 3. I'm losing my mind figuring out which ones need it or not. Is it only required for leds that use only full voltage on light up, unlike brake/tail that use a dim and bright mode?
@@xSOULxREAPERx-OP so I'm not the best for wiring to be honest, but from my understanding it's really just to remove the "hyper flash" from the turn signal because I think the resistance is different for LED then conventional lights, for the other ones since there just on or off it doesn't matter much, hopefully that helps you out!
Great editing and explaining! Enjoyable to watch 👍🏾
Thanks man! Appreciate the support! 😁
You should change the third brake light in the back glass
Yeah I ended up just removing the whole thing, and hooking up the speed brake light

Very helpful video
Glad you liked it! 😁
Does it matter what direction the bulb goes back in?
No I'm pretty sure you can put it back either way, let me know if you have any other questions!
Why do you need resistors if they are 12v LED's?

You must’ve spent some time aligning that camera angle to get to the light, great video tho. Keep it up
Haha still learning how to make full use of my camera, thanks for the support! 👍🏻
the bulb holder doesnot twist.
