Have you got the burst fire for A280-CFE? Because that makes it like a powerful version of the standard A280, with the bonus of added range. Hywel Jones this dude knows what’s up. They are so annoying for heros. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve random got stuck in one and got lit up bc of it
I'd recommend using the trip mine star card, then place two trip mines across the paths near you (best if it's a doorway). That way you can snipe, & if any one gets to close to you, or tries to kill you, they'll hit the trip mines & blow up. Just don't stand too close! Learned that the hard way :(

Amen to that. I can't tell you how many times I've headshotted enemy players and they survive it. Sometimes I've headshotted the same player twice and they live
The stinger is amazing at helping teammates take down heroes. You won't get the kill, but if you can help take down that pesky hero, you can change the game
@@EvilXero359 definitely. If I'm playing as a specialist and see him I just hit him with as many bolts as possible and hope someone else can get the kill
If i had to change something about the sniper class it would be : The infiltration ability to deploy an item at the location(feet)like lando's scanner, the item mess up with the radar and hide the sniper completely from the enemy to allow freedom of movement and instead of EE-4 it would be Greedo's DT-12 blaster pistol Bubble shield health increase from 240(epic) to 280(epic) For the Thermal binoculars I have 2 potential and very daring changes A)the binoculars can mark any foe forever but it can only mark 10 enemies at any given time and it will have a 25 seconds cooldown by default and the star card upgrade goes like this Common-21 seconds Uncommon-19 Rare-17 Epic-15 Or B)the binoculars stay the same in every aspect but one when you put the binoculars in your face you can see the entire enemy team through walls but cannot mark them because they have to be in your physical line of sight...well that restriction is now removed
Specialist is my favorite class, because I love sniping people from across the map with the NT-242. My load out is: Stinger Pistol, Improved Binoculars, and Survivalist. Binoculars are great for gaining BP off assists. On Geonosis as Republic I can gain 20,000BP staying at the cliff and tagging droids. Survivalist is a great card because it boosts Specialist's already rapid healing. If you didn't know to compensate for the 100 health they originally had their healing wait time was shorter, so with Survivalist at max you only have to wait a few seconds. Stinger was a great card, but there's nothing to replace it with. I had great times with it before the major nerf. One time I was able to hit Yoda single-handed with it. Yoda was attacking a helpless Bossk and I just shot Yoda to Swiss cheese as he began to rush me. He killed me, but the draining damage was enough to kill him a few seconds later. As for what Specialist needs is the 8-X Night Sniper to use at close range, but still have sniper capabilities to target with heat vision from long range. This was my weapon in BF1. I'd snipe other snipers hiding behind cover hitting them with 4-6 rapid shots. Good times! One thing that will fix Specialist and other classes is the load out system, that are currently hidden in the code. Each class has 3 load outs to allow you setup cards for various situations.
You can replace stinger, with resourceful, stealth, improved stun grenade, improved binoccoulars, harden infiltration. list goes on. that gun is terrible after the nerf.
Try putting on the disruptior shot on , us effectively explosive ion shot and it dose around 100 explosive damage so it great blocking heros ,vehicles and turrets and you can kill people round corners . You can also 3 shot vehicles to the weak point
The change i want most is probably for them to revert the ark trooper. They can nerf the damage or whatever they need but let me shoot with both triggers and feel like a badass!
About vantage points, in battlefront 2015 they allowed snipers to stay safe from danger and get a complete clear sight of enemies. But to be honest i believe the dogde/roll system is what make the sniper that much hard to play with, in battlefront 2015 they didn't have a very good roll system for soldiers which favored snipers
This is how i change cycler rifle: -Increase body damage to 200 -Remove headshot multiplier -Reduce magazine to 1 -Increase reload time -Replace improved cooling mod to faster reload time mod -Give ability to shoot through shield
If you in a pickle and need a way out quick, always activate the infiltration ability first then activate the personal shield so you can flee quickly and take no damage while doing so
On maps like first point hoth and first point starkiller base its impossible to peak, push or kill with anything else than a sniper. You have to sit in the back and wait for people to peak and it’s so boring for everyone involved.
Have you tried the spc bubble boy loadout? Stealth -+ brawler + bubble. You move fast in infiltration off the radar, don’t take damage thanks to shield, and can one shot melee most basic infantry. Melee kills aLso reset cooldowns with that setup so you can keep infiltration and bobble up and just run around behind enemy lines punching people lol
I remember when the specialist was the BEST class in the game, to the point where it needed HEAVY nerfs. I blame the crybaby officers & heroes who where getting flanked & melee'd to shit for that, & i have video evidence ;)
Well, The card was bugged as shit. And speaking as someone who used specialist a lot during that period, it was obscenely broken (though hilarious I will admit)
Because a sniper shouldn't be close up in the first place. Sure i can go on a beserker killing spree with my infiltrator or a280-cfe but snipers are made to hang back and support
Darth Jar Jar Well I line up my shots and take out enemies like I would do if I was an assault, and use my stinger if things get to hectic. And the shield and infiltration are useful as well.
@@hailandsilence1537 yeah I generally just aim for the head (unlike Thor) but I would have liked if the map let all four classes work. 3/4 of the snipers are either bad or a close range. Nt-242 is the only reason I like the specialist so much
My specialist is my lowest of the main 4 classes, only at 140 lvl, but i personally think its good. Get NT-242 with explosive shot and you can use it as no scope close range, as well as it has a star card for increased melee dmg. You dont play it properly but its like, rlly good ngl
A280CFE, shock grenade, and trip mine. Fun and effective at medium to close range. Throw both the shock nade and trip mine down in the case of multiple enemies at close quarters
Love the class, because it is very different to the Assault and Heavy. Unfortunately, some dumb nerfs to the repulsor cannon and the Stinger pistol have made them even less useful. Having two pointless star cards doesn't really encourage the classes use.
Tip: the A280C use the burst it somewhat fixes your concern and it takes a little practice to beat a heavy or assault. I also recommended the card marksman if your good at head shots.
I usually play as an aggressive sniper with the NT-242. If you hit shots consistently and can pull of quick scopes or no scopes you can run right into a fight and drop a lot of kills. Also make sure to use your infiltration ability cus its practically the equivalent of the vanguard and it’s really good for close range
I’m a bit of a specialist main in GA/CS and I’ve found the best part that keeps me using the class is information with the binoculars and the scramble infiltration where I can find any enemy relay that Info to my entire team with call outs such 5 enemies of OBJ, PUSH NOW. Or to a couple of friends saying whether a room is clear the scramble infiltration is able to reveal enemy locations to all teammates as well as disrupting enemy scanners the shock grenade is good area denial and allow a 1 shot / burst apart from your suggestions simple weapon and ability buffs could be done but in my honest opinion it’s an under-appreciated class in team play
As a specialist main, I’ve found the best way to play them is as a fast, hyper aggressive hunter. You need to be constantly moving from cover to cover. Take a few shots and then move up. As long as you keep moving, it can be hard for the other team to kill you.
Dice could encourage more players to play specialists by adding: 1. A health gain for each kill star card like assault training. 2. Change the reset over heating on headshot to reset on kill. 3. A card that rewards a close range kill with no scope by an over heat reset. These things would encourage specialists to be on the frontline more than the back of the map which isn’t fun for anyone.
this was a VERY well made video, and i really appreciate that. well written, well edited, and quality gameplay in the background. this is the first video i've seen of yours, but definitely won't be the last. you've gained a sub from me :) good shit bro.
Bruh that's the hard way. The bots move way more speratic and random than other players and with that gun if you miss a shot you're not getting the kill. Its honestly probably easier just leveling it up in Blast since players don't constantly sprint and roll sideways for no reason when they don't even know you're there
My specialist is at lvl 62 and it took me forever to unlock the NT-242. This was before the Cycler rifle came out. You basically hit the nail on the head regarding this class's weaknesses. The other sniper rifles do need either a damage boost, or something that can help make the specialist compete with the other 3 main classes.
I've been saying for years that the Specialist needs some love. But even as they are, they can be useful or even vital, if played right. Scramble Infiltration let's your whole team know where individual enemies are. Trip mines are great. And the A280-CFE can be a beast with the burst mod. The class definitely needs some reworking, though.
Ur right aboutthe scramble infiltration. I was playing on tatooine galactic assault (i got stuck w rebels, go figure) and as i was rounding a doorway i get shot to pieces from a specialist using scramble. The guy had two other players with him and i didn't see them on the mini-map/radar. I don't remember what class i was when that, but i think i was a heavy in the mid to high 20s.
Im loving the stinger pistol...First time i was hit with it by some1 else, i didn;t understand what was happening...[my health slowly depleting] and doing it to others makes me smile for some reason..
1. I love the specialist, although i do not have the NT-242 yet 2. I love how the gameplay in these videos and how the tone of Andrew's voice matches what happens in the gameplay, where when he's talking about something serious or something he doesn't like, it usually shows him dying, or when he is really enthusiastic about a topic, he shows footage of really impressive kills and killstreaks. 3. I agree, specialist weapons need to be more powerful and slow, which would make them very unique. It would improve many people's time as the class and improve people's experiences with a less aggressive playstyle.
All good points. I will take up your suggestion regarding the reduced damage purple card. Players (and devs) of this game should be thankful of the UA-camr/online community that has consistently suggested improvements throughout the life cycle of this game. Regarding the NT rifle, the ion shot is devastating towards vehicles and only takes a minor penalty on infantry units. Worth using/equipping in some game types!
Specialist is by far my favorite class to play. In GA I play complete anti-vehicle with this and I'm usually in the top 3 at the end. I use the 242 with ion shot and the cards are bodyguard, improved weapon cooling, and the one with the fast health regeneration. Loads of fun going vehicle hunting (poor LAATs don't stand a chance!). The best is when you start going 1-on-1 with tanks as we hunt each other...I like to think they enjoy the hunt for me as well.
I actually get the hero 1st with Specialist on a few Galactic Assault maps because of the Enhanced Binoculars. They are very great for racking up Battle Points because of the Spot Bonuses AND the Kill Assists. On maps where you need to damage an objective, I use te NT's Ion Shot and it's amazing against infantry because the splash damage is absurd. As soon as Naboo starts I Immediately take out the Binoculars and spot the entire enemy team which could get you 450+ points + the Kill Assists. On Kashyyyk I rush to the roof tops (Both factions) as soon as the match starts and try to spot as many players as I can as I splash damage everybody with the Ion Bolt. On Crait it's almost the same as naboo, spot the entire team and when I'm on the 1st order side, I like to hunt down speeders and kill them quick with the Ion Bolt which gets insane BP. You can also use the NT's Ion Shot on starfighters if your aim is good enough and farm damage points or perhaps a couple of kills. On Hoth as the empire, I rush immediately to the left of the map and go on top of the mountain closest to the far left Ion Cannon the rebels use to damage te walkers and spot everybody and kill anybody holding the objective to get bonus points + all the kill assists. And if you're just trying to help your team on Geonosis and not go for the hero, as a clone trooper you can stay far back HIGH up on a ledge and spot everyody and your team can see the enemy through the sandstorms. The specialist class is not as bad as people make it out to be and funny enough is my 2nd highest leveled class.
The A280 with three round burst on specialist is the best way to play specialist. Makes you able to play more aggressive and I am surprised you didn't talk about this superior weapon
The stinger pistol is one of my favorite star cards. It absolutely melts heroes and prevents them from healing. If you are able to hit head shots with the stinger pistol it does about 30 damage immediately.
@@therewillbefire1833 It would honest fit a lot better for that class especially considering the Flash Pistol is the same pistol design that the Scout Troopers in episode 6 had so would be pretty cool to see a Scout Trooper using one...
I always play the specialist, it's my favorite class it's super devastating to hero units. Its support abilities are lack luster, the scope and the ntn is the best way to go. If they change the stun grenade to an explosive trap, it would be amazing. The cycle rifle is trash, the reason why people are using it because the cycle rifle is the easiest rifle to get. The ntn, is worth the grind. Single head shot is a kill. To even make the cycle rifle use able, it should go through energy shields. Otherwise it wasnt even worth using. Lvl 258 as a specialist I would love to get the old fashioned pulse rifle, charge that baby up and one shot anyone anywhere
Me I run the perks, Invisible to radars when shooting, automatic cooldown weapon with headshots, And upgraded scrambler, because it upgrades your SMG. The scope you need for PVP to spot for your teammates which gives you xp for spot assists and will keep them spotted in red for a little bit. You should only need 2 shots to kill a target. Let your assaults go ahead of it and pick off people, Be a Hunter of Man, go where people like to flank from and ambush them from range, use corridors to focus on head shots. It will take time as they have an aim assist, turn this off in options if you can so you can properly lead targets. Hope this help those who want to try specialist
Some tips for the class. In the bigger maps, like Supremacy Geonosis, or first Hoth phase you should use the NT-242, obviously, but in close range maps like Kessel or Kamino, the A280CFE with the 3 burst shot is probably better than most of the other classes all together, because it functions as a mid-close range rifle, and it's really powerful. You can also switch blasters mid match, so the specialist fits for every phase of every map. Also, the shock grenade with the 3 burst shot A280CFE is a great combination, as you can throw it in a group of people, and quickly kill them all while they struggle to walk
as a specialist level 280 main the class is op. There are lots of long range maps [kashyk, kamino, crait, etc] and as long as you have good positioning you can do good on mid range maps. also I can easily defeat multiple heavys and assaults at close range, the trick is infiltration for speed boosts, pop personal shield for protection, and use + melee damage star card to run around 2 shotting people while protected from blaster fire.
Anyone getting the glitch as a droideka? When I try to activate my shield, it starts the transform animation, than the transformation goes back, and than the shield appears. Lmk if I’m the only one experiencing this issue
Make the Cycler Rifle shield piercing with the full damage of the NT-242, BUT reduce it's damage against vehicles and turrets. It's a slug thrower, and should bounce off tanks.
Hey thats actually a nice idea. Maybe not NT-242 dmg tho. I'd say make it deal 90 dmg to the body but 1 hit kills to the head, no matter the class. And going through shields. They could also make it to be reloaded manually, without cooling. It would add some nice variety and make the gun stand out
You are 100% correct, specialist is the hardest class to master, as it has the weaker weapons and struggles in close quarters. Though I had made a special subclass of specialist: Infiltration. (I had made it before the class came out) It uses the burst rifle, stinger pistol stealth and personal shield or killstreak infiltration. It basically turns the specialist into an invisible assault class and usually works well against a lot of people, considering no one expects the specialist to be up close. The only downside is that while this is good up close, getting there is a total nightmare so yeah. But what do I know I’m a complete shitter.
Specialist - A280CFE burst mode - Hardened Infiltration - Personal shield - Stealth perk. Pop infiltration, pop the shield, and beat people all day long. Super OP melee.
I rarely use this class simply because like you said, it has weak close range capabilities compared to the other classes. That's why I think a good solution to this problem would be to swap the stinger pistol the sniper class has with the flash pistol the assault class has. The assault class has no reason to have a flash/scout pistol and the stinger pistol for the sniper is not that great.
you'll change your mind if you play specialist like the assault class with the burst mode a280CFE, hardened infiltration, bounty hunter, and survivor. Thermal binoculars are just okay for sniping, but are insane when used to find people close range to run down.
Dude, A280-CFE with burst mod and the star card that extends your weapon cooling states. You get five bursts before it overheats (which is terrible), but using the gold unlimited fire you get like 20. It’s *the* highest DPS in the game and absolutely shreds.
If you use the A280 CFE with the burst attachment it basically becomes an assault rifle which is actually really good at close to mid range. It doesn’t even feel like you’re playing specialist when you use that and it can easily compete with both assaults heavies and officers as well. And specialists of course but that’s obvious since they’ll either be using the same weapon or a sniper which is best at long range, not short to mid
If they dont want to go the direction of making all the snipers 1 shot headshot, they could just remove the scope when aiming down sights and just give them a regular zoom like the other classes have with their weapons, making them into DMRs instead of snipers
Potential blasters. ee3, ee4, e10, a310, se14r, a180 pistol, a180 blaster, a280 pistol, dh447, vulk tau-6-23, e22, dt29, a300, ec17, f78 rifle,dg29 pistol, rskf-44, dl-44 carbine, jnd-41, s-195. A watered down version of the z6 would great for the heavy. Just hope we get a few more blasters in the future.
@@bickle8931 The officer doesn't get points like he used to, and yeah heavy has always been good thanks to having ridiculously good abilities. Assault and Specialist earn more immediate kills and when used with Bounty Hunter you can get heroes before any other classes. Especially since they both have movement abilities that will get you to crucial points in the map before other classes
Man, it amazes me how many people sleep on the Specialist. The A280CFE with the 3-round burst attachment makes it such a terrifying class at any range - especially close range. Being able to get rid of aggressive Assaults and battle point hungry Officers with a single burst to the upper chest is something that none of the other classes in the game have done for me. I've been spoiled by this Blaster, and I'm so glad it's went under the radar. I'd go as far as to say it's slightly on the overpowered side. I remember it being this strong back in the Beta for this game. You get this godly close to medium range blaster on top of being able to use a personal shield, and switch to the EE-4 to go on a killstreak. Even after trying out the other classes and getting all their Star Cards to max just recently, my feelings haven't changed. The Specialist is the class I feel the most comfortable with, and it's the only class that's gonna' get me near the top of the leaderboard in a game of GA or CS.
I actually like the shock grenade. Think of it a bit like a trap. Slows the target down and makes them easier to pick off with you sniper, stinger, or infil.
The NT 242 w/ disruptor is a little demon from hell that will harass and surpress you, your squad, technicals, equipment until you succumb to the chipping splash of it's plasma discharge. So it's my favorite , of course! The hard part is deciding between stinger or flash pistol to handle Jedi scum.
In Battlefront 2015, if you had the marksmen perk, you could one shot anyone across the map with the DLT19-X. It was loads of fun, especially on Walker Assault on Hoth.
The grind is real! I got my Specialist up to 1,000 a few months ago. Officer up to 1,000 about a month ago. Heavy is at 693 right now. My poor Assault is at 209, and will take a long, long time to get up to 1,000.
With the Nt242 u can 1 shot all trooper classes at any range, or hip fire 2 shot at close range, plus you got a personal shield to get you out of danger. I think it’s the best class imo, but only with the NT
Finally people acknowledge the nt 242. Ive had this weapon unlocked for so long on. Ive learned to use the spec at any range. It may sound cringy but no scopes are deadly. On kamino and kashyyyk cs this thing id a beast because you can one hit a bot even with a body shot
There is another issue I have, EA/DICE has not added an airborne clone trooper skin, but a group of four mod makers make an absolutely perfect looking one to me
Most maps are not long range and the weapons rarely one shot. Both of these points make snipers useless And to get the actually good nt 242 you have to get way too many kills with terrible weapons. I just can't do it. Its probably a remnant of the loot box progression
I miss your old video entrances with the Lando Calrissian laugh. It’s made me laugh and chuckle. Could you bring it back? Also nice video me, being a cycler rifle user also thinks it needs a buff in many ways.
When this game first came out I rushed to get the NT ASAP. That first week was amazing. People weren't ready for it and it absolutely shredded infantry
Specialist is very useful for destroying Vehicles with its Ion shot NT-242, aside from that however it is basically underwhelming in any other scenario. Dice needs to give the Specialist a more versatile selection of weapons that can be suitable for close to longer ranges. The A280CFE is a good start for the close to mid range combat, and NT-242 is a great long range weapon with great power. We just need more snipers that feel powerful, because new weapons like the Cycler Rifle that sound powerful, do not deliver and for that reason is an underwhelming weapon.

Uncommon-19
Rare-17
Epic-15
Or
B)the binoculars stay the same in every aspect but one when you put the binoculars in your face you can see the entire enemy team through walls but cannot mark them because they have to be in your physical line of sight...well that restriction is now removed

My favourite class, basically half of my 2000+ hours is with that class- use the A280CFE with the burst and you’ve got one of the best CQC class
Honestly I don't like the cycle rifle, I always use specialist so I was excited when they brought It a new weapon and was very, very dissapointed
I like you said “new” while it came from the last game, but it got nerved like they nerved Anakin
same, always play as specialist
@@davidvandenbos3638 I meant new to battlefront 2 when It came out, I know it was in 2015,that was my fav game ever tbh
You’re not alone, I don’t think anyone likes it
The change i want most is probably for them to revert the ark trooper. They can nerf the damage or whatever they need but let me shoot with both triggers and feel like a badass!
Yess I don't care if they are bad, they can take my power but they can never take my fun!
Agreed on both pistols option
About vantage points, in battlefront 2015 they allowed snipers to stay safe from danger and get a complete clear sight of enemies.
But to be honest i believe the dogde/roll system is what make the sniper that much hard to play with, in battlefront 2015 they didn't have a very good roll system for soldiers which favored snipers
This is how i change cycler rifle:
-Increase body damage to 200
-Remove headshot multiplier
-Reduce magazine to 1
-Increase reload time
-Replace improved cooling mod to faster reload time mod
-Give ability to shoot through shield
So uhh, battlefront 1?
@@ygolohcysp8755 yes but as a base weapon
Officer mains are a cancer
Well, The card was bugged as shit. And speaking as someone who used specialist a lot during that period, it was obscenely broken (though hilarious I will admit)
Dude, I use the specialist at close range all the time and rack up kill streaks, Why does everybody have a problem with it?
How?
Because a sniper shouldn't be close up in the first place. Sure i can go on a beserker killing spree with my infiltrator or a280-cfe but snipers are made to hang back and support
Darth Jar Jar Well I line up my shots and take out enemies like I would do if I was an assault, and use my stinger if things get to hectic. And the shield and infiltration are useful as well.
giant taco god well when I first played as it I didn’t know that so now i guess I got accustomed to it.
I agree with your points, but I absolutely love playing the NT-242 simply because there's nothing more satisfying than headshotting people with it.
Bombastic: Because not a lot of people like sniping
Me: Dude wtf are you talking about???? That’s all I play as
Love the class, because it is very different to the Assault and Heavy. Unfortunately, some dumb nerfs to the repulsor cannon and the Stinger pistol have made them even less useful. Having two pointless star cards doesn't really encourage the classes use.
Saying the specialist needs a health buff and I remember they use to have a 100 health...
Have you ever played with the a280 cfe with burst fire on? It literally has the highest dps of any gun in the game
Apparently you weren't around in the beginning when the specialist only had 100 health.
I didn't get that sniper till two weeks ago while trying to get the new guns
I've been playing specialist since they had 100 health pool lol
Sniper battles were more fun back then.
As a specialist main, I’ve found the best way to play them is as a fast, hyper aggressive hunter. You need to be constantly moving from cover to cover. Take a few shots and then move up. As long as you keep moving, it can be hard for the other team to kill you.
Dice could encourage more players to play specialists by adding:
I pretty much use the NT exclusively when on outdoor maps
Your kills in co-op count toward unlocking weapons and weapon modifications if You want to cheese them. I did it for my last weapon the cycler rifle.
Seems like no one knows how to use the new cycler. It's a 15 shot shotgun hip fire with gold cooldown.
A280 cfe with burst mode is insane my guy amazing at close range you can play with that gun like an assault or heavy
The cycle ryfle should be a 1 shot kill but overheats instant and work the same as the battlefront I cycle rifle
Felixiano VvZ but like, shoots through shields, that way there’s an actual reason to use it over the one shot head shot rifle we already have
Flynn Marland yeah exacly Just like battlefront I
A reload animation would also be cool
iszey12 yeah!!
Im loving the stinger pistol...First time i was hit with it by some1 else, i didn;t understand what was happening...[my health slowly depleting] and doing it to others makes me smile for some reason..
It’s nice to finally have a game where the snipers aren’t completely OP
1. I love the specialist, although i do not have the NT-242 yet
The specialist class is not as bad as people make it out to be and funny enough is my 2nd highest leveled class.
my thought was also to change the dual zoom mod to a piercing mod. kinda how ion shots to some weapons work
The A280 with three round burst on specialist is the best way to play specialist. Makes you able to play more aggressive and I am surprised you didn't talk about this superior weapon
Ben did confirm they were looking into the cycler rifle.
Do you only play co op
Lvl 258 as a specialist
I would love to get the old fashioned pulse rifle, charge that baby up and one shot anyone anywhere
Me I run the perks,
Invisible to radars when shooting, automatic cooldown weapon with headshots,
And upgraded scrambler, because it upgrades your SMG.
Lol I was just playing as the specialist just then on kamino and I noticed no problem 🤔
Play a map that is indoors and you will find out.
@@shift6847 nah, just use A280 CFE with the burst mod
@@Foxtail190 at that point just use heavy or assault.
@@shift6847 just use Stealth, Brawler, and Personal Shield and go around punching everyone
Shift it’s very obvious the specialist is meant for out doors and he is great that environment. I’m not stupid.
I think assaults amazing to play as, so versatile. What’s your favourite or least favourite gun to play assault with? I love the CR-2
It would add some nice variety and make the gun stand out
Kind of like the Clone Commando weapon. I like it. Dice could have been more creative with the cycle but it seems like they phoned it in.
1:30 That Wookie got yeeted
You are 100% correct, specialist is the hardest class to master, as it has the weaker weapons and struggles in close quarters. Though I had made a special subclass of specialist: Infiltration. (I had made it before the class came out) It uses the burst rifle, stinger pistol stealth and personal shield or killstreak infiltration. It basically turns the specialist into an invisible assault class and usually works well against a lot of people, considering no one expects the specialist to be up close. The only downside is that while this is good up close, getting there is a total nightmare so yeah. But what do I know I’m a complete shitter.
I use the improved shock grenade as a deterrent to push through a doorway
Specialist - A280CFE burst mode - Hardened Infiltration - Personal shield - Stealth perk. Pop infiltration, pop the shield, and beat people all day long. Super OP melee.
I rarely use this class simply because like you said, it has weak close range capabilities compared to the other classes. That's why I think a good solution to this problem would be to swap the stinger pistol the sniper class has with the flash pistol the assault class has. The assault class has no reason to have a flash/scout pistol and the stinger pistol for the sniper is not that great.
I agree completely. I use the burst A280CFE to make the specialist feel more assaulty. There are few maps that let me use the NT-242 to its potential.
you'll change your mind if you play specialist like the assault class with the burst mode a280CFE, hardened infiltration, bounty hunter, and survivor. Thermal binoculars are just okay for sniping, but are insane when used to find people close range to run down.
No personal shield for me, I ain't no bubble boi
Angreifer < Spezialist < Offizier < Schwer
As soon as I unlocked the NT specialist jumped from my least issued to most used class. Close or long range 100+ kills regularly
Specialist is amazing for earning battle points if you are focused on grabbing heroes. Idk about the cycler rifle im still sticking with the NT
Mugen123456789 have you not played as an officer or heavy? Because they literally just make points non stop
I actually keep all my main classes at the same level and right now they are all 233 but man it's a pain.
Specialist has been my favorite since launch and my first to 70 which was the cap then 100
Finally people acknowledge the nt 242. Ive had this weapon unlocked for so long on. Ive learned to use the spec at any range. It may sound cringy but no scopes are deadly. On kamino and kashyyyk cs this thing id a beast because you can one hit a bot even with a body shot
8:10 rip that poor officer
There is another issue I have, EA/DICE has not added an airborne clone trooper skin, but a group of four mod makers make an absolutely perfect looking one to me
Most maps are not long range and the weapons rarely one shot. Both of these points make snipers useless
And to get the actually good nt 242 you have to get way too many kills with terrible weapons. I just can't do it. Its probably a remnant of the loot box progression
The A280-CFE is pretty good tho
I miss your old video entrances with the Lando Calrissian laugh. It’s made me laugh and chuckle. Could you bring it back? Also nice video me, being a cycler rifle user also thinks it needs a buff in many ways.
The stinger nerf was really not needed😪
When this game first came out I rushed to get the NT ASAP. That first week was amazing. People weren't ready for it and it absolutely shredded infantry
being a level 229 specialist i congratulate you on getting the nt
NathanielBerry47
I’m on level 999 as the specialist
If you have the a280cfe then ur specialist is fine if you use the stinger pistol as well
Specialist is very useful for destroying Vehicles with its Ion shot NT-242, aside from that however it is basically underwhelming in any other scenario.
